Beautiful location. Very nice house. Only critique (if you can call it that) would be I wish their check-in and check-out hours were more like area hotels (3 PM instead of 4 and 11 AM instead of 10). We were there for an event in Athens so we didn't spend as much time relaxing by the lake as we would have liked.

It has a good location and comfortable beds. Very Clean and well-organized, and Everything is functional. It was a pleasant stay for us, and I would recommend it.

It was my birthday weekend and my boyfriend and I wanted to do a little get away. The cottage is so nice and cozy, my favorite things were the bathtub and the fireplace! I drank 2 cups of coffee by it every morning! The Hot tub room is so cool and sets a great vibe to hangout and relax. Megan and Ty are so friendly and helped us whenever we needed it. Thanks for a great stay :) Highly recommend to anyone looking for a nice get away spot!

the property was beautiful. it was great for a weekend getaway. private enough for a couples retreat but has plenty of things to do in surrounding areas.

The place can use some minor updating but this is a stay in the middle of the woods of Ohio and not a resort in the tropics. We had an issue with the AC but it was taking care of very quickly and steps were made by the host to mitigate the issue prior to the repairs. The location is amazing. The family loved the lake. The fire pit area was enjoyable and the whole area was peaceful and serene. This was a perfect place for my family since there are three separate living spaces. The fishing is amazing. We did all catch and release but pulled out some monster catfish. They provide enough stuff to enjoy the lake but we brought our own just because this is the kind of stuff we enjoy doing on a regular basis. The kids absolutely loved swimming out to the island and paddle boating around the lake. I definitely recommend this place if you want a peaceful getaway.

This was the perfect Christmas getaway for my husband and our two dogs. We enjoyed the multiple trails for long walks and exploring. The little cottage how's everything you need. I love the simplistic design. The property surrounding it is so peaceful. We enjoyed watching the birds and the horses from the house in the morning while drinking coffee. The best part was it helped us to slow down and enjoy just being together. Plus, the dogs had a blast! We'll definitely be back:-) Couldn't say enough good things - thanks for sharing your place Marty!

My husband and I chose to celebrate Thanksgiving this year just the two of us, and wow! Did we choose the best spot! This cottage was by far the cleanest, comfortable, and relaxing we have been to. Chris & Lisa truly go above and beyond to ensure your stay is like being home. They don’t miss a beat in making sure your stay is rejuvenating and homey. Our pups loved the trails and the private backyard. They are reactive dogs and it was enjoyable to see them be able to go for a walk and sniff everything in sight without a distraction. The nature and barn surrounding the home is breathtaking and gives that cozy feeling as soon as you pull on the gravel road. We look forward to coming back! Thank you Chris & Lisa for a memorable Thanksgiving!

The house was exactly what we we're looking for, for a little getaway with a few friends. Some other comments mention a lot of deer heads and there sure were a lot of them, but they were nice and didn't cause any trouble during the stay.

Wonderful experience!! An idyllic setting looking over woods leading to a lake! Todd was great to work with, very flexible and responsive. Would highly recommend.

David’s place was thoughtfully-designed and comfortable for a brief stay in the area. We enjoyed walking the property and its quiet scenery.

We had an awesome one night stay ! Dianne let us have a late checkout and was very helpful with booking. We will definitely book again !
