Beach house vacation rentals in Atami

Awesome location across a tiny street to the beach…great for multiple families or group of friends. We had a great stay & have already recommended it to others!

This time, I stayed with three families (a total of 11 people + 1 dog). It was detailed information in advance, and check-in was also smooth.The room was spacious enough and the view from the room was excellent. The room was well cleaned, the kitchen was well equipped, and we had a very comfortable stay. We'd love to stay again if we get the chance.

Tomomi's place is perfect for those who want to explore Usami. Tomomi is welcoming and make us feel like home. You can even borrow their bikes for free to explore around.

Friendly host, and the place was huge. Place was also a very short walk from the beach, which was great to unwind at during the night.

I used it as a family of two, but it was spacious and comfortable. The kitchen was fully equipped and I enjoyed cooking.

I used it to participate in a surfing competition.It was very convenient to be able to walk to the venue and there was a convenience store.I was also very impressed by their kindness and flexibility in consultation. The interior was beautifully renovated and bright, with amenities and cooking utensils, and it was comfortable, with a wrinkled texture like a natural material, and the bedding covers were very pleasant and comfortable to sleep in. I had to check out in a hurry for the tournament, so next time I would like to stay with a relaxed schedule!Thank you very much.

Loved our quick stay here. House is clean & spotless while having all the things we needed to feel right at home. The place has character and is decorated well, doesn't feel like some heartless airbnb unit, feels like a home. Very much appreciated that! The place accommodates 4-5 people comfortably. The Hakone Tozan Railway station really is right around the corner. Since this line isn't covered by the JR Pass, I chose to walk to Odawara Station (except when I had luggage) which only takes 22 minutes and takes you right by Odawara Castle. I chose this place as a jumping off point to Tokyo and Haneda Airport which works out well since one can catch the shinkansen at Odawara Station.

Our new favorite spot in Sotoura Bay! The house was spacious and perfectly clean, with all the right amenities. Kitchen tools and utensils were plentiful and clean. It was just the three of us, but I could tell the facilities can handle meals for much larger families/groups. The new aircon units were nice given how hot it's been. You could also tell a lot of work went into renovating the building, making it airy and bright but preserving the original feel. I was particularly impressed by the nice bathroom, which was obviously updated with the latest heating system but maintained old tiles -- rather than converting it to the plastic-y "unit baths" seen everywhere else. The hosts were super helpful and kind. They even sent us a toy we'd left behind... We'll be back!

İt was one of my best stays. The house is so cosy and peaceful. The view is amazingly beautiful. I spent very lovely days and had a good retreat. The route to the house is quite steep, but it's worth the exercise and the scenery you get. There are nice routes surrounding. I will definitely come back again. We had a great stay. Hosts were very helpful with recommendations and getting us cabs into town. The beach was perfect for our 3 kids and a very close walk from the house. They had lots of boogie boards and surf boards available to rent. The Kitchen was well equipped and we loved they had multiple refrigerators since the space used to be a restaurant. The bedrooms were very good size for multiple people. Air conditioning worked great in the bedrooms and living room. We loved the huge deck for relaxing! Laundry was a bit difficult as there is no dryer. Places to hang dry your clothes were available. One down side to the house is there is no bathroom upstairs, and all the bedrooms were up stairs. I would Deffinetly recommend this great beach house! Thanks guys for a great time.

I stayed with a friend and a couple for two nights and three days. It was not too far from the city, and there were many places nearby if you use a car for fishing spots, beaches, etc., and it was a good location to spend the summer vacation.If the weather is good, you can see the stars. The neighborhood is quite quiet, so it is perfect for those who want to be quiet.It is small, but I have all the necessary facilities, and the owner will respond politely if there is anything I want to check, etc., so I had a very comfortable stay. The bathrooms and toilets are also clean. I would like to use it again if I have the opportunity.Thank you!

Sister June's house is my favorite Airbnb stay! It feels like staying in your own home in Japan. Although it was not very convenient for us to communicate in our language, June's enthusiasm and hospitality made us girls feel very at ease and happy. There are also many attractions nearby, and it is also very close to the subway station. On the first night of our stay, June personally walked us to eat local Japanese barbecue! And recommended a 100-year-old local hot spring to us! Would definitely recommend friends to stay! If I come to Izukyu Shimoda in the future, I will definitely visit June again!

The location was quiet and secluded but close enough to combinis and great local restaurants. Naomi’s home is perfect for families and couples alike. The outdoor area is great for hosting and relaxing get togethers. There’s a lovely ocean view from the bedrooms and outdoor space. Highly recommended!

We had an amazing time during our 3 day weekend ! Place was exactly as per the pictures and we had the feeling of being in another country ! Beach really close by (walkable distance but with hill to get back to the house), convenient store and grocery shopping near by if you have a car. Would happily come back for holidays !

We spent a very relaxing week in this beautiful house. It was convenient for us as it was close to the Onsen and not far to the sea. Comfortable, cozy beds, quiet nights, we were able to catch up on a lot of sleep. The kitchen is very well-equipped, pretty dishes, sharp knives, usable pots and pans. Communication with the likeable host was quick and smooth. One of the best Airbnbs we've ever stayed.

Yuko's place was one of the best places we have stayed in Japan. First time having mattresses that won't make your back sore! The light blocking blinds were also a plus. The place was comfortable, clean and very cozy. We would love to stay again in the future.

Loved staying here with my family. The place is secluded and private and feels like you’re in a small village surrounded by greenery. But you walk ten minutes along the boardwalk and you’re at beautiful Ohama beach. The perfect beach long weekend. Can’t wait to come back.

This place was AMAZING. The views shown in the photos are even more breathtaking, peaceful and beautiful. The air smells like flowers and the birds never stop singing beautiful songs. The property was well kept and well maintained. It was clean and the sauna and sauna tub were awesome additions! 10/10

The parking lot was very spacious, and there was an Aeon supermarket about a 5-minute drive away, which was very convenient for transportation.The kitchen was stocked with lots of nice dishes and we enjoyed cooking.In the morning, you can see the sea from the room, and there are lush vegetation lined with lush vegetation by the window, which was very healing.Thank you for a pleasant and heartwarming stay.If I get the chance again, I'd love to use it!
