Cottage in Biddulph

The moment you walk through the door at Hurst Cottage, you feel chilled and relaxed. The surroundings are beautiful and the woodland walks are great for getting out and about. The hot tub is a lovely addition to the property. There is a lovely pub down the road called The Talbot, which served great food. I would definitely recommend staying here if you want a relaxing time away.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Bank View, and I can confidently say it was one of the best Airbnb experiences I’ve ever had! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with a warm welcome and a beautifully maintained space that felt like a home away from home. The cottage was spotlessly clean and thoughtfully decorated, providing a perfect blend of comfort and style. I particularly enjoyed all the amenities which made staying over Christmas very easy. Alex was an outstanding host. Their attention to detail and genuine care for guests truly made a difference in my experience. The location was also ideal, with easy access to Bakewell and Matlock, making it convenient to explore the area. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay! I highly recommend Bank View to anyone looking for a memorable getaway. I can’t wait to return in the future! Thank you for an amazing stay!

We stayed for 3 nights and couldn’t fault Gemma’s home. It was very easy to locate and gorgeous when we arrived. There is a gorgeous view which is lovely to enjoy in the hottub in the morning. The house was spotless! Gemma and Andy were very responsive with anything we needed and gave us some lovely recommendations. The location is perfect. We had a lovely stay and would definitely return! Lovely relaxing weekend with friends. Comfortable cottage, felt at home, well equipped. Jane very helpful and responsive of any questions asked. Wood burner was lovely in a comfortable front room. Cottage in Bakewell

We had a wonderful stay at Sam and Annie’s place. The cottage is so spacious for two people, and was very comfortable. Lots of hot water and plenty of firewood to keep the fire going. Just down the road from the Monsal Trail, we enjoyed walking into Bakewell and exploring the area. The local pub does great food too! We would happily return. Sam and Annie were always reachable and willing to help with whatever we needed. Thanks again!!

Cottage in Hartington
4.95 out of 5 average rating, 228 reviewsHartington village cottage with 2 parking spaces!
Spent a lovely 3 days over Christmas at this lovely cottage. Such a stunning location and was everything we hoped for. The village is amazing with lots of independent shops and a great pub, the Devonshire Arms which I highly recommend. The cottage had everything we needed and the conservatory was great for Xmas dinner… The only thing missing would have been an accessible outside hose set up to clean the dog… but a bucket sufficed…. Great responsive hosts. Thanks for a lovely time…

Cottage in Tideswell
4.99 out of 5 average rating, 107 reviewsSpecial place for couples or small family.
An amazing property, best I’ve booked on Airbnb. Beautifully presented, extremely clean and very well stocked. You can tell the love and care that has gone into creating this rental and Julie clearly has very good taste. Everything you could possibly need - Julie has included it and she’s gone the extra mile with lovely extra touches. The cottage is well located right in the heart of Tideswell with walks and restaurants on your doorstep. If you have a dog, the boot room outside is fantastic with its warm shower and Julie even supplies dog towels and shampoo. I cannot recommend this property enough and we’ll most certainly be back!

Cottage in Bakewell
5 out of 5 average rating, 202 reviewsRocking Stone Cottage - Idyllic Rural Retreat
Rachael and Gerry were wonderful hosts and really went above and beyond to make our small family feel welcome. The cottage is cosy and peaceful, with beautiful surroundings and fantastic lights/large windows. We had a really lovely stay!
Cottage in Wildboarclough
4.94 out of 5 average rating, 162 reviewsBlack Cat Cottage in lovely Wildboarclough
We had an unforgettable week at the Black Cat Cottage. We enjoyed the beautiful surroundings and made a couple of great walks starting right from the doorstep. We had lots of snow, some really nice sunny days and the grand final: storm Bert. Under all circumstances, the cottage was a warm and welcoming place to come home to. The cottage is close to the farm, but is still very private. Chris was very friendly, helpful and relaxed, also under all circumstances. Hera and Hector were very, very sweet, and we loved Hera’s antics in the snow. In short: we highly recommend this lovely place if you want to get away from it all! Some friendly (November) tips: Bring enough food, just in case of snow and road closures Dry and clean firewood is available at a nearby gas station in the direction of Buxton. And yes, you really do need a 4x4 to get to or from the cottage in snowy and icy conditions 😉
Cottage in Youlgreave
4.98 out of 5 average rating, 120 reviewsWest Croft, the Relaxing, Quiet, Homely Cottage.
Our party of 3 couples really enjoyed our stay in this lovely, comfortable cottage. The kitchen is spacious and very well equipped and the lounge very cosy, with enough comfy seating for us all. Youlgreave is a beautiful village with many options for walks directly from the house. Communication with Simon and Jen was excellent and we would definitely recommend their cottage as a great base from which to explore this beautiful area.
Cottage in Derbyshire
4.99 out of 5 average rating, 208 reviewsSnapTin - a lovely cottage in beautiful Bakewell
Snap tin is a gem of a place. We spent Christmas there and couldn't have chosen better as it was so cosy and festive with all the tasteful Christmas decorations in every room . Felt like home from home. The attention to detail is second to none. The yummy treats, drinks and the welcome pack with local produce was such a lovely thought. There is really nothing I can add here to have made our stay any more comfortable as it is perfect as it is. The location is great: only a short stroll down to Bakewell and lots of lovely walks from the cottage. We shall most definitely return .
Cottage in Cheadle
4.83 out of 5 average rating, 366 reviewsHidden Cottage for Two in Staffordshire
Amazing cozy place, only stopped overnight but could happily have spent longer, everything was spotless, Nice homely touches and plenty of space to relax with comfy sofa and chair, kitchen very well equipped, spacious bathroom excellent shower in large cubicle. Very comfortable bed in large bedroom. Garden area looked lovely though weather wasn’t great so didn’t go out. The cottage was tucked away off the high street but was very private and a bit of a wow factor when we opened the gate!
Cottage in Winster
4.91 out of 5 average rating, 163 reviewsDelightful old stone cottage
Headlands Fold is a lovely cosy old cottage in a beautiful village. Rod the owner was helpful and welcoming. The cottage has everything you would need, it is very comfortable with some low doorways to watch out for, if you are tall. The beds were comfy. There was a welcome bottle of wine, milk and biscuits. It is a quiet spot with walks straight from the door. There are two great pubs with open fires serving food in the village and a community owned shop. There were three of us and it was a good size for us. Any more and it would be tricky to deal with wet coats and boots. My husband and I would definitely stay again.
Cottage in Tideswell

Had such a lovely time here - the house itself was so cosy and we immediately felt at home. Carol was always quick to respond and went above and beyond making us feel comfortable (even leaving us biscuits and milk). I’d absolutely recommend this to anyone and would gladly stay again!
