You can wake up and hike until your hearts content, take in the sights in town and end your day reclining on the sofa with a cosy pellet burner. We have ample parking, private entrance, walking distance (1.2miles) to town (bars & restaurants), bus stop to Buxton / Macclesfield. Wifi, Sky TV,Netflix. Totally faultless. Everything you need and more. Every extra touch provided - including very generous welcome hamper and Easter tasteful decorations. Everything for a pet, or a picnic, staying in or going out. Modern technology including iMac, WiFi and sky. Nothing missing from the kitchen for any cook. Bedrooms and bathrooms (linen, towels, robes, toiletries) had the feel of a five star hotel. Charming hosts. I could go on. I had high expectations as is rated 10, but we were all astounded at how incredibly tasteful and well equipped it was, and to a high decorative standard. Thank you.

The cottage was lovely, well appointed and perfect for us and the dogs. It was always warm but the woodburner made the evenings extra cosy. It is in a wonderful location for walking - all from the door! Youlgreave is a fantastic village with a selection of dog friendly pubs and cafes (that also sell amazing bread) plus a great village shop. We loved our time there and will definitely be back. :-)

Decorated beautifully throughout with cosy log burner for colder evenings! Barbara met us at the property and was very welcoming and provided some great info on local walks, pubs and also provided some tasty flapjacks! Would book again without hesitation, everything was perfect! Thank you Barbara and Ray!

We had a lovely stay and the location is excellent, with supermarket 5 mins walk away and town centre barely further. We had no issue parking outside the property and had everything we needed for a lovely long weekend. Be mindful that the stairs are quite steep!

Booth Farm was beautiful and in a lovely quiet setting (not easy to find so I would use the suggestion of what three words. Duncan went over and above with helping us choose bedrooms for our children and always really responsive. The cottage was stunning, lovely bedrooms, comfy beds and we especially loved the roll top baths. The guidebook has everything we needed to check in so it was really simple, we also liked the recommendations for days out and food. The local Italian was lovely. Thanks again for a wonderful stay, we would love to return

We were very comfortable at Sarah's place. We didn't feel cramped in any way. It had everything we needed and was spotlessly clean. Good shower. Very well-equipped kitchen with plenty of workspace. The thoughtful food provisions were much appreciated. And we enjoyed the quirky decorations! Our trip was for a family get-together and we will certainly use it again.

Our stay in the Damson Pod with Sarah and family was perfect. The pod itself was lovely, beautifully clean and had all the amenities we needed. The view from the full glass front was spectacular and could be enjoyed while sitting in bed or on the outside seating areas. The land surrounding the pods was beautifully maintained and had space for sitting, BBQ's and a lovely dedicated space for the children to play with the provided toys. One evening we met Sarah in the adjoining field and had the opportunity to feed the Alpacas. We were kept well informed of the arrangements and details for arrival. We very much enjoyed our stay and have already recommended it to friends.

Julia's shepherd hut is just the perfect place if you want to switch off and run away from the daily rat race. The hut is as described, with everything you can think of including welcome drinks and snacks. I just asked where to get wood and Simon has come back with plenty of wood for the chiminea so we had lovely evenings sitting outside by the fire, looking over the valley with grazing sheep (who came literally to the hut door). There's literally everything you can think of in the hut but if there was anything missing, Julia and Simon are always willing to help. They are so lovely and made the stay even more amazing. We walked to Bollington where there are plenty of shops and restaurants (and deli with an amazing sourdough bread!). There are so many walks around that you don't even have to go anywhere else. If you have a car with low chases, just drive very slowly when you get past the gate. I can't wait to go back!
