Vacation rentals with lake access in Arvika Municipality

Absolutely amazing place! It’s a fantastic house, huge and spacious, very clean and has everything you’ll need. Great private location, the kids loved running around on the grass and parents could relax knowing no cars would go past. Loved the private beach. The two bathrooms were great for so many guests. Angelica was an excellent host and so accomodating and helpful.

The house of Patricia and her family is situated beautiful overlooking the fields and the forrest. It is a short walk to the lake with a small sand beach and a beautiful view. The house is a place to relax and enjoy Sweden as it is. We saw moose, crane and deer from the veranda. In the garden are raspberries you can pick. Contact with Patricia was very easy and pleasant. She is a lovely host. The new kitchen is very nice and has everything you need. The living room is very light and it is a pleasure to sit at the veranda.

Large former residential building with stunning views of Lake Fryken. Furnished authentically as in the '60s, you feel like you were traveling back in time. Nevertheless, you don't have to do without modern amenities. We felt very comfortable.

We enjoyed the beautiful lake house. There were kayaks available but we did not use them. However, we rented the sauna on the lake. Nicely equipped in a lovely house that is equipped with all comforts and beautiful surroundings.

Very nice chracteristic house in beautiful setting in natural park!

We had an amazing time at this beautiful place near the lake. Lars is really friendly and helpful which made our stay very pleasant. A nice option is to take the rowing boat to the island where you can watch the sun set. If you would like to see moose this is the place to do so, we were able to see quite a few in the surrounding area.

We spent seven days in Mike and Kristine's wonderful holiday home. The property is in a wonderfully idyllic location and there are lots of details to discover in the garden. The house is clean and superbly equipped, so we didn't miss a thing. A big plus is also the own jetty to the lake and the possibility to use the rowing boat and canoe. Unfortunately, the water level of the lake had dropped so much at the time of our stay in August that we couldn't get the rowing boat into the water, but as the canoe was easy to use from the jetty, this wasn't a problem and we were able to explore the lake and its wonderful shores. Communication with Mike and Kristine was smooth and any questions were answered quickly. If you are looking for a quiet, private location in the middle of the Swedish countryside, this is the place for you.

Before arrival, the instructions for entry were well described, making our move in very easy. Extremely nice "old" house that is really in a beautiful area. You are in peace, with sauna on a beautiful lake. We have been there in the winter period and were able to skate and cool down wonderfully after using the sauna with the fallen snow. A very special experience to have your "own lake" completely there. Which you share with the foxes and deer passing by. We had a great time. Everything you need was available, even more than we expected in terms of kitchen utensils and cribs. Completely complete. Definitely a place we want to come back to again. Contact with the host was good and the responses always very quick!

martin's place is very special and you have to have experienced it for yourself what tranquility this place exudes. The toilet and rowing boat take some getting used to, but it all takes value. We also had the great happy aurora to see from the terrace.

We had a nice stay everything we needed was provided (bed linen, towels, firewood, etc.). The kids were able to watch DVDs and we were able to log in to Disney +. The only thing we found less was the drinking water from the tap (iron taste).

Charming house in the middle of nowhere. The house has everything we needed. The private beach and the newly built wooden jetty makes the overall look of the house perfect. The host, Samudra is nice, friendly and always available if you have questions or need support. Perfect place to rest and spend some time. Highly recommended

Nice and very nice accommodation.

We (a family of six and a dog) spent two relaxing weeks in the cottage. In the 1st week, thanks to the sunny weather, we just spent time on the private jetty, went swimming & explored the lake via SUP. In the 2nd, cooler week, we enjoyed the peace & quiet of the area around the cottage, sat around the campfire, visited Karlstad, Arvika & Charlottenberg & picked blueberries while hiking! If you want to take home a hand-carved souvenir, you should stop by the Sneckarboa-house in Fredros! Mattias was always available via phone to answer our questions (but actually the great cottage manual is all you need) and welcomed us with a little present! The cottage is cosily furnished and offered us everything we needed. But, if you're looking for luxury, you're in the wrong place. We had to get used to the noise from the road, mainly at closing time, but after a few days we no longer noticed it. We really enjoyed our time here!

We spent lovely time at Nicole’s place. The surroundings are so beautiful and peaceful, the yard is very big and we could relax, do a bonfire and children could play safely. The house was very nicely renovated, well equipped, clean and comfortable for our two families. Nicole welcomed us with her family and was always available to give us tips and recommendations. Thank you, Nicole, for such a nice time ! 😊
