Our stay was absolutely magical! Maria, our host, radiates authenticity and boundless kindness. My almost 3-year-old daughter, who usually takes a while to warm up to new people, connected with Maria in under two minutes! The accommodation was spotless—so clean we could have eaten off the floor! We wholeheartedly recommend this place without hesitation!

A great getaway nestled between the olive trees and vineyards. This is a true gem, the property is well equipped and has everything you could need. The hosts are great, very quick to come back to any questions and gave some great local recommendations. Definitely recommend!

Our stay at José and Cecilia's home was incredible. We were a family of 5 adults with a toddler and a baby and the space was comfortable for all of us. The house had everything we needed and the outdoor space is spectacular with one of the best views in all of the Douro Valley. José and Cecilia were always available next door and they came over for a lovely chat and a tasting of their own delicious Porto. Thank you for everything! They were so kind and thoughtful with our kids. We intend to come back and we already gave the reference to friends and family who are interested in coming as well. We hope to see you again soon! We went to rest and it was great, we went with our pets who had a great time, we had our own pool to enjoy a place even more. I was afraid to be hot and in the photos although it is not seen, there is portable air conditioning, which is going very well and q x in the afternoon you can contemplate the sunsets dining from the living room with the large window x the light comes in and is spectacular, also from the table of the private terrace, or from the pool while you bathe. Teresa and her Jorge, they give great recommendations, we had a wonderful time and were looking forward to more! They are as lovely as the place, with their little forest. Anabela and Jose were great hosts. We had dinner in their house one night, the food was delicious and they served their own wine with dinner. They were very helpful and welcoming.

We stayed with 6 people and were very satisfied. Everything was well-equipped, including the barbecue facilities, room conditions, and the bathroom. Quick communication is also an advantage. Thanks to the host who responded immediately, I enjoyed it comfortably and happily!

This was the most magical place for our family of five. I now want to come back and try all of Miguel’s other properties. A true highlight was taking advantage of the connections to local vendors that come with the hosts recommendations. Private dinner at the Pinta Lounge was amazing . I said to my husband at one point , “ I am so happy I could cry” - that sums up this cottage.

Nestled in wine territory, with a 5 minute drive up winding roads to the top of the hillside in Folgosa, the home gave spectacular views of the Douro Valley! Mimi recommended restauants, wineries and other areas of interest which we found extremely helpful. All the recommendations were exactly as she described and all were fabulous. We enjoyed the fact that home's location was within 20 -30 minute of Lamego, Peso da Regua & Pinhao which allowed us day trips. Then back to the lanai for sitting by the pool, watching sunsets and drinking wine!

We stayed a few days for 4 adults, the accommodation is very nice with its 2 suites, the 2 bedrooms have 2 separate entrances with an airlock where each shower room is located and a large closet. Very quiet accommodation, the only noises heard are a few cars (normal, accommodation located in the heart of a village) and the nice sound of the church (the accommodation is right next door, the church emits a small music before ringing the hours from 6:00 am to 9:00 p.m. or 10:00 p.m.). We would recommend this listing without worry with a very friendly owner.

This place was incredible. From the moment we checked in to the moment we checked out, it was perfect. Such a kind host and farm manager, beautiful and peaceful surroundings, and convenient to all things in the Douro Valley. I would stay at this place again in a second. Definitely worth it!
