You’ll love my place because of the quiet peaceful surroundings beside a small stream and looking out over Loch Lomond. Situated in a private holiday lodge estate at the foot of Ben Lomond looking over Loch Lomond to the mountains beyond. There is a sandy beach just in front of the lodge. My place is good for couples, families and pets. Rowardennan is on the quieter eastern shores of Loch Lomond at the foot of Ben Lomond. There are NO shops in Rowardennan but online groceries can be delivered.

Am Fuaran Isle of Iona Am Fuaran is situated in Iona Village, beside the Argyll Hotel. Long ago Islanders had Summer houses where people stayed during the holiday season to allow guests to stay in their main residence. Am Fuaran was such a building which has had various tenants over the last few decades. It makes an ideal Summer Bothy. It is a tin building with a concrete floor and although not luxurious it is cosy. It is the perfect private space for a single person or couple.

Garfield Studio - charming wooden chalet

Our charming property is a small wooden chalet set in the garden of our home, sitting above the town of Oban. The property sleeps a couple, and has a mezzanine which is suitable for 2 small children as one of the bunk beds is small. The chalet has a bright elevated outlook, a wood burning stove, spiral staircase. The chalet is in a beautiful location not far from McCaigs Tower, with outdoor access to a small balcony. The property has recently been renovated and the decor refreshed.

My place is close to the waters edge.Stunning unique tranquil loch front setting in the Arrochar Alps located only 45 minutes from Glasgow City Centre, or 55 minutes from the Ski Centre in Glencoe. A spacious chalet consisting of three 3 bedrooms, all beds are full size with luxury sprung matress, large lounge with walk out decking with panoramic views only 10 ft from the waters edge at high tide. You simply will not find a better waterside location.

Gorgeous peaceful location and views yet near to Bowmore for shopping and about 25 mins to all the best beaches and places to explore. We loved it. Whether rain or shine the living room was a lovely place to be and the kids were content. Excellent kitchen fully equipped with everything you would need and essentials such as milk/eggs/butter/bread gratefully received upon arrival. Minor issue with bath tap not having much water pressure, but we filled up the bath from the adjacent sink and showers worked fine. I believe a plumber was due after our stay so this may be working fine now as there was a minor leak in the system which was due to be addressed after the bank holiday. None of this impacted much. Favourite places for us on Islay with kids were kilchoman beach, sanaigmore beach, singing sands, currie sands, pottery, nature centre and pool and bookshop at bowmore when it is rainy. Lovely holiday very much needed! Thank you

We loved our stay in the Chalet. The area was so quiet despite being on a holiday park on Easter break. Within walking distance to the beach and Glenashdale walk up to the falls. The Chalet itself was so cosy, comfy amd clean. We would recommend staying here and would definetly consider staying in the Chalet again if we come back to Arran.

Had a lovely weekend at Larch Green Lodges. Was absolutely stunning both inside and out. Host was super friendly and helpful and provided extra kindling for a fire when they seen us out at the fire pit. I couldn’t recommend this place enough. Already booking again for later in the year!

The Dolphin Run Lodge was perfect, it was very clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable, relaxing stay. We loved looking out of the big windows to watch the world going by which involved little red squirrels who were really entertaining to watch and not something you get to see everyday! - and the bird song in the mornings was wonderful. The location was good; nice and peaceful and a great base to visit the numerous areas around Argyll...we even got a few sunny days while we were there which was a Brucie bonus! A great place overall and would definitely book again.

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful lodge on Islay. The location is peaceful and quiet, making it the perfect spot for a relaxing getaway. It’s also quite centrally located, ideal for exploring Islay by car. The lodge itself is spacious and gave us plenty of room to unwind. The thoughtful breakfast package was a lovely touch, too. Great communication with the host—fast and helpful responses. We highly recommend it and would definitely love to return!

We spent Christmas at the lodge with family and the lodge itself and the location were great. Margaret had also decorated it for Christmas! We booked it because it was close to the loch as we like swimming. The lodge had everything we needed for cooking and having a very comfortable time hassle free. The whole family was very happy with it.
