Vacation rentals with lake access in Arcos de Valdevez

This home is in a stunning surrounding and we wished we could have stayed longer. The beautifully renovated house has all the amenities we needed and it was impeccably clean. The attention to detail with lots of little touches made us feel like home immediately. The kitchen was ready for cooking with even items like a garlic press and peeler. The house is very close to the hiking/biking path which you can take to Arcos de Valdevez or further and Ponte de Lima the other direction. It’s a very pretty area to spend time in. Parking was available on the premises. The bed is very comfortable, it’s quiet at night. You can sometimes hear cars from the road but it’s not bad. The only minor inconvenience was slow internet - we recommend to buy a NOS data only SIM card which works well in the house and they are very cheap for unlimited data.

We had booked this lovely house for a week and we were not disappointed. The house is located beautifully secluded both in the area and on the grounds. There are only three other houses with a good distance in between. In the middle of the forest with a small creek and lovely planting everywhere. Appears very appealing and maintained. Nice and clean pool area with deck chairs. The house is nicely decorated with living room/kitchen and two bedrooms with two beds in each. All rooms have access to the large terrace. Nice bathroom. Everything is nicely cleaned and there is everything you would expect from cookware. The house is built on poles and has a cozy shaded terrace downstairs. There is easy access by car, which is however a prerequisite. Restaurants and shopping are not far away. João is very friendly and accommodating. Was easy to get in touch with both before and during the stay. Gave us more great local tips. The place is highly recommended to everyone!

Very comfortable accommodation with a great view. The fireplace is lovely. We recommend it!

Very friendly host, advice on restaurants in Arcos, walk on passadicos . Region to discover by Geres, Soajo and Lindoso for espigheiros, but traditional granaries. Village of Sistelo, Moncao, Vila nova de Cerveira. Don't forget Ponte de Lima. Taste the wineho verde produced from the region, as well as the arroz de sarrabulho. Quinta Lamoso is a green setting, quiet, swimming pool ,river and "guinguette" 15 minutes walk.

Everything was as expected, very clean and nice rooms. I totally recommend this place. the host is very nice.

I loved the cottage; it was quaint, clean and private with lots of friendly cats who welcomed us. The only real issue I had was the bed was very hard. Maybe a mattress topper? Marie is outstanding as a hostess.

Mr. Delfim is an extraordinary person, always available, 5☆ because I can't give more. The house is impeccable with everything and more than necessary. We'll be back for sure.

Unfortunately it was only 2 nights, 5* house and location. Mr. Antonio was spectacular with us, facilitating the check-in/check-out, making us completely comfortable, D. Olivia and Mr. Secundino were impeccable with us, making us feel like we were part of the family, we loved them from the bottom of our hearts and we really want to come back soon, but this time with more time because Gerês is beautiful and there is much to explore... see you soon and thank you very much for all your kindness and availability 🥰

Wonderful location right in the middle of Gerês, surrounded by a breathtaking landscape. The house was impeccable, super clean, comfortable and with everything we needed. Having parking at the door was a great extra. O José, was simply impeccable — super helpful and friendly. The service was 5 stars from start to finish. We have absolutely nothing to point out. We recommend it 100%!

We loved the outdoor dining room and the wonderful little community on a hill. The location is not necessarily super remote, or quiet, but makes up for this by having a great, central location in Pina Geres and being right next to really cool little beaches and a short drive from the beautiful waterfalls up in the mountains.

independent house on the banks of the river, spacious rooms, very clean bathrooms, there is all the space you need, the enchanting garden area with river and mountain views, having breakfast in the garden was wonderful to come back to!

Rui, your host, was brilliant and as effervescent as a freshly poured flute of fine French champagne - so much so that one almost needs to lie down and rest after having a chat. He loves his tree house and is extremely proud of his construction. One of the nights of our stay they had the fiercest storm in nearly 20 years - 100 kph winds, slashing rain and intense lighting and thunder yet in the morning both we and the tree house was still in the tree - can't say much about sleep but what an experience. It is, indeed, a magical experience. If you are coming by rental car, and a stickler for detail, be aware that you must drive over gravel roads for a few kms, which for most rental cars is not covered in the contract but if you drive in a mature and rationale matter who will ever know. Like how many people can say that they actually resided in a tree house. Just do it.

Well-equipped home with all amenities you may need. Wonderful scenery around and with easy to access trails. Recommended!

Diogo and his father were fantastic hosts. We spent nearly 3 winter months at the property and loved it. Everything was perfect as described. The location is outstanding, immersed in nature....the best sunsets and sunrises i have ever seen. The house is well equipped, really comfy with a modern looking . We definitely recommend it and cannot wait to come back in summer.

great location: close to bouro lands, close to the river, quiet place. the host left plenty of wood which allowed to light a fireplace and warm the house.
