Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Aran Islands

Stayed here for 3 nights on a small family get away. The house is very spacious and had everything we needed for the stay. We stayed at the end of September and the house was always lovely and warm. The kitchen/ Dining area is a great size and ideal for a group to relax together. The house has a water pump that can be a little noisy at night time but there was some helpful notes explaining how to deal with it at night. The house is on a small narrow road which means it was always very quiet and peaceful. Oughterard is a short drive away and has plenty of pubs and shops for guests. We ate in Powers pub and the food was very nice with friendly staff. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a quiet getaway outside of Galway City.

Our family had the most amazing time in the heart of the Irish countryside. Our boys loved the games room with ping pong table and feeding the horses.

Perfectly located for exploring the local area, on a quiet road a few minutes drive from Clifden. The cottage was spacious and warm with a lovely wood burner and Sophia's care was obvious, from arrival to checking in through our stay. Connemara was beautiful, welcoming and relaxed with plenty of good options for eating out.

Lovely stay house was lovely and cozy and comfy. Everything was spotless clean with lots of towels and equipment provided. Our welcome pack was a lovely treat. Anna Maria was great with keeping in touch about check in and out. Really enjoyed our stay.

I wanted to be in the countryside of Ireland for a months and hosted various family members throughout the month. Tara’s place was perfect for my needs. Very homey, plenty of room to be together or spread out. The views of the countryside as well as Galway Bay were outstanding, better even than the published pictures.

Fuschia Cottage exceeded our family expectations for our special Christmas visit! The property must be the nicest Airbnb in Ireland! The home is larger than anticipated, and beautifully decorated! The kitchen is wonderful, bedrooms and bathrooms wonderful and clean, and the common areas are stunningly cozy, well appointed and warmed by an amazing wood burning fireplace. Marian was kind enough to put up a Christmas tree before our arrival- without our requesting this! It meant so much to our family during this special Christmas vacation 6,000 miles away from home! We will HIGHLY recommend this property, which was a highlight for our 15 day trip to Ireland.

Lovely location right in the heart of the Burren which is what we wanted. Beautiful views of the night sky without any light pollution and lovely views of Marie's very friendly miniature ponies during the day! Marie had great recommendations and shared relevant local information. Our four-legged friends were made very welcome as well as ús!

great family place to stay in Galway. we had the necessary amenities, enough space and a great location. easy to get to Dublin's airport and supermarkets.

Fantastic stay over 5 days. We love the area and this is the first time we have stayed at this place. So comfortable, warm, clean and very well appointed.

We had such a beautiful peaceful stay at Michelle's place. The apartment was spacious whilst cosy, very clean and fully equipped with all mod cons needed, including a fabulous coffee machine! The garden area is so beautiful and our frenchie loved exploring safely! Location is perfect with just a short walk to lovely pubs & restaurants. Michelle was a super host with great advice on dog friendly places. She left a lovely welcome of scones & jam, together with sweets for any Halloween callers, which was very thoughtful! We highly recommend a visit here! Thank you for a wonderful stay Michelle!

An idyllic retreat on the west coast in Clare County. Everything was pristine and Geraldine is certainly a superb host. Will definitely stay here again

Superb stay. Sad to leave. Such a beautiful spot and Rory was an amazing host. The place exceeded all (very high) expectations. The sauna was a mega bonus after rainy exploring and hiking. We dropped into Rory’s Powers Thatch Pub for supper and the food was sublime, the setting cosy and the company unbeatable. Highly recommend. Thanks so much Rory.

Absolutely loved our stay in Brenda’s house. I rented the house for a weekend with friends, and everything was extremely smooth and easy. Brenda was really helpful in sharing recommendations, and responsive to any questions we had about the place. We felt right at home immediately, and enjoyed the house and garden a lot. The house also has loads of games that were greatly appreciated. I would highly recommend Brenda’s house, and cant wait to come back soon !

We left feeling refreshed and connected to the beauty of Ireland’s west. Highly recommended!

A very unique stay. Caramel was very helpful and friendly. There are so many details around the location which are very nice. I would recommend!

We loved our stay. The place was so cosy with really comfortable beds and lovely underfloor heating. The location was fabulous, it felt completely remote and yet it was a five minute drive to a lovely town that had a large Supervalue and a lovely bakery. We explored lots of places such as the Cliffs of Moher and Lahinch which were both close by. So light and airy inside with beautiful colours that reflected the landscape, a very interesting array of books as well. Our favourite part was the barrel hot tub where you can look up at the stars at night (there are so many because of the lack of light pollution in the area). Definitely check this place out!
