Cottage vacation rentals in Annapolis Valley

We stayed for our anniversary weeekend. Danny and Lynn’s place was spectacular! Very comfortable and super clean! It rained all weekend and we were so comfortable between a beautiful kitchen for cooking. Comfortable sofa’s to watch some movies, play some board games, and spend time in the hot tub! The bed was super comfortable and the sheets were so clean and fresh! We would recommend to anyone seeking a peaceful stay to book asap!

We had such a lovely stay in this perfectly placed cottage . There were fascinating trails we found near by with my “all trails app .” The hot tub was absolutely the best. ! It makes you sleep afterwards like a baby . Just the peace we were looking for . If it was summer there are so many cool places to go near by . We would definitely love to come back to Kayla’s beautiful airBNB .

Perfect for visiting Martock and lake activities. Everything you would need during a stay and more. I find a lot of places skimp out on household items but they did not. Beautiful property, would highly recommended

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our time at Kyle's cottage. This was our second stay at this beautiful, peaceful, and private location. A great place!

The house is as described; modern appliances, including washer/dryer, a well supplied kitchen, lots of bedding and towels, 2 bedrooms, all on one level. Very relaxing atmosphere, working fireplace, overlooking the Gaspereau River, outdoor seating areas, ducks, pheasants, and eagles make frequent appearances! Just minutes away from several local wineries, a 10 minute drive to downtown Wolfville which hosts many lovely restaurants and attractions. A wonderful getaway!

I cannot say enough about the Herring Hole Hideaway! If you are looking for a peaceful and tranquil experience, this is it. Nestled in this small fishing village, you have harbour views on one side and rocky coastal views (that recede with the tide) on the other. The cottage is beautifully decorated and calming inside. There is a trail not far from here that takes you up around the coast to the Terence Bay lighthouse that we just loved. This was a wonderful home base for travelling to the local attractions and scenery. The firepit and hot tub were lovely additions, but we especially loved getting up with the sun and warm drinks on the deck watching the sun go down. If you are after a stunning natural retreat, look no further than Kim's place.

This was fabulous! A perfect getaway for my group of 6. We were all comfortable in the rooms, enjoyed the kitchen and living room spaces, and had so much fun in the jacuzzi. It was clean, had TONS of cooking equipment and linens, and was in a quiet beautiful place. Would recommend!

The location was so beautiful and quiet! The bed was comfortable and there was plenty of seating inside and outside. The one amenity that we missed was a dryer but the portable washer worked well. The host was very communicative and we felt like we get got a great bargain. Even though I came from the west coast, I got up at sunrise each morning and it was memorable!

The stay at the Friend’s cottage was an incredible experience from start to finish! The place is spacious, clean and well-equipped, providing a perfect environment for a workation or a staycation. Aeshna is warm, welcoming and friendly, she ensured we had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. Whether we were soaking in the hot tub with the beautiful lake view, cooking together in the fully stocked kitchen or playing games in the REC room, every moment we spent there was splendid. I would definitely recommend the cottage to anyone looking for a getaway trip. My friends and I would certainly want to go back soon.

This private accommodation was just as described and exactly what we were looking for. The kitchen was well equipped (ample supply of dishes, glasses pots/pans & some food provisions to start the stay), clean and comfortable to work in. The view was exceptional (we were very lucky with the weather!) and the clear, dark night sky was spectacular. The bed was comfortable and roomy, with high quality linens. The jet tub was very relaxing. The warmth from the wood stove made the whole place cosy... great for reading a good book with a glass of 🍷. Thanks for sharing Myrtle!

We felt like we had a break from the world. It was peaceful, very cozy, charming, and comfortable. We slept like babies, even though it was cooler weather and we had to put wood in the stove for heat (something we enjoyed immensely). Kitchen was reasonably equipped, so we just cooked our own meals. If you’re ok with a few bugs and spiders here and there (nothing dangerous), you’ll love it. We plan to be back.

I had a lovely stay at David and Nancy's cottage. The cottage was roomy, spotlessly clean and fully equipped (the kitchen had a few items in it that I don't even have in my own kitchen). It was comfortable and convenient and David and Nancy were responsive, kind and generous. I would definitely stay with them again the next time I am in Hubbards. (I'd come back just for Nancy's homemade chocolate mints!)

This was the ultimate peaceful and quiet area to relax and unwind. We did not spent much time there because we were attending an event in the area. However, we enjoyed the quiet peaceful evenings sitting on the screened deck. I am sure it is beautful in the summer. Wish we could have stayed longer.

This was our second stay at Rob and Jacquie's Lakehouse. It's just a fantastic place to stay. The cottage offers everything; amazing sunsets, beautiful lake views, swimming, walks around the country roads, a fire pit that makes for cozy nights, and the cottage is outfitted with absolutely everything we needed. It's comfortable, quiet, located in beautiful surroundings and Jacquie and Rob are great hosts. We are already booking for 2025 and looking forward to another wonderful stay.

Kristine was a wonderful host and her space provided an enchanting experience for our stay while we celebrated Christmas early with friends. The home had everything we needed to prepare a turkey dinner and slept eight comfortably. We loved our stay and can't wait to be back.

We were looking for a quiet place near Annapolis Royal yet out-of-town, and we found it. The trips to surrounding towns, restaurants, and tourist sites were easy and there was little traffic. Although not all the rooms in the cabin have been fully renovated yet, Patrick thoughtfully provided comfortable furnishings, and there were many 'homey' touches that we appreciated, like adequate lighting in each room, good quality linens and towels, and flowers on the table. We enjoyed the well-supplied kitchen, great shower, and deck for relaxing, outdoor breakfasts, and views of Milbury Lake from the private beach. Patrick was a responsive host and made sure we arrived safely and had everything we needed.

I arrived feeling exhausted after a long drive from the USA. But, what a great place to land in Nova Scotia! I slept like a baby in a very comfy bed. The surroundings are beautiful--tucked amidst trees and overlooking the waters of La Have river- I found a little piece of paradise here. The cottage itself is charming. A well stocked kitchen including treats from the La Have bakery. Can't resist that! Joe is such a friendly and kind host. I appreciated that he was always quick to respond to any questions. He can tell you about all the sights and restaurants in the area. My favorite was Cresent Beach about a 15 minute drive--what a place to walk your dog and experience the ocean. I highly recommend staying here!

Wonderful place to stay if you're looking to unwind in a peaceful setting. The view is spectacular, amazing sunsets. Great hosts. This was our 2nd visit. Will be back next year!

Fantastic space! We enjoyed the lake and the kayaks, and the Air Conditioning was a treat! Such a quiet lake!

The stay was fantastic! I highly recommend it to anyone who wants a peaceful stay at a cottage with loads of toys! The kayaks were great and well-maintained and we got to use them to go farther down the lake to another shore. There is also a canoe and a paddle boat, with other gear such as goggles, life jackets and extra paddles. Oh yeah, and the cottage inside has literally everything, tons of extra towels/sheets/blankets/toilet paper/kitchen utensils. Moreover, thanks to Dax's muffins for our welcome treat!

We absolutely loved our weekend getaway at the cottage. The place was spotlessly clean and cozy and had all the amenities you could possibly need. The place is very private and we got to enjoy the kayaks and a lovely bonfire under the stars. The hosts are very accommodating, friendly and responsive. This is one of the nicest AirBnBs I have stayed at and we are already planning to come again next summer. Highly recommended!
