Vacation rentals with a kayak in Anchorage

We enjoyed our stay at the Meadows Lake house! It had everything we needed to have our family Thanksgiving dinner! We had so much fun sledding on the small hillside next to the house. The views of the sunrise & sunset were spectacular! The fire pit outside was an added bonus. We can’t wait to come back in the summer to enjoy the dock on the lake with the canoes! We highly recommend this house for family vacations.

Loved our entire stay. The home was beautiful, spacious and tastefully decorated. Loved how well the kitchen was stocked with all the pots and pans and dishes we needed, as we cooked all our meals during our stay. Would definitely stay here again.

There aren’t adequate words to say for Troy’s place! It is amazingly beautiful and relaxing. He has done an excellent job of decorating and proving necessities for a stay. The beds were very comfortable. Be easy with the heat… it feels amazing on my feet (floor heated) but it will warm up very well… cools off slowly. I just wished I had planned on staying longer. Definitely #1 on our list.

Great home in a peaceful central location. Was the perfect place for our family group to use as a home base. Clean home, comfortable beds, great back yard, easy check in and check out. Thanks for a great stay!

This was a perfect ending to our trip. The house felt really homely and had something for everyone. We were able to relax, cook a nice meal, catch some trout in the lake and watch the Aurora from the hot tub. Idyllic.

This little gem has a beautiful view, all the amenities, and is just so well put together! Plenty of space and privacy for a large group. Love the creative, thoughtful layout and design.

The house was well taken care of and very nice to stay in. Every sunrise and sunset was picturesque. The lake was beautiful and refreshing. Loved the opportunity to step away from life at home and relax.

Kitchen was stocked with everything you’d need. Queen bed was very comfortable. Upstairs day bed was comfy as well. If you are looking for a quiet pristine place this is it! Was a bit further away from what we were doing but we weren’t entirely sure of what our plans were and this place seemed exactly what we needed. Overall great place!!

Sam's Place is great for what I wanted, he's a great host. The cabin makes you feel like home, very comfortable and clean. I've stayed here before and will stay again.

We had an amazing stay at this Airbnb in Palmer, Alaska! The property is even better than the photos, with a truly breathtaking view that made every moment special. The hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming, adding a personal touch to our experience. While the WiFi was a bit spotty, it didn’t impact our stay at all—this is the perfect place to disconnect and enjoy the beauty of nature. Highly recommend!

Had a great stay with Lori. I arrived pretty late at night on check-in and she was still there to greet me. It was a nice relaxing place to stay. Close to everything in Wasilla.

We enjoyed our stay at Brittney's cabin! The cabin was cute, clean, comfy, and worked great for our family of 4 (two adults, two 8yr olds) and a dog. Nice big, private outdoor area with beautiful views---lots of space for the kids and dog to run around! We had fun fishing from the dock and loved seeing and hearing the loons.

Best stay in Alaska! The kids kayaks were the perfect added touch. We loved our time in the cabin and look forward to coming back!

My husband stayed at Jim’s property for three nights and there are not enough great things I can say about it. The cabin is beautiful and we felt right at home. Jim greeted us as soon as we arrived and showed us the cabin and the property. The hot tub was easy to use and so nice to hang out in. We had a lovely evening hanging out with Jim and Teresa one night too. Fishing from the dock was fun too and there are a bunch of ways to get on the water if you would like too. The place was clean and clearly very loved. Overall this is a beautiful property and our time here was just perfect. Definitely recommend!

This cabin was perfect! It has a sun soaked deck that was perfect for morning coffee or afternoon cocktail’s. The cabin has a well stocked kitchen with a full size refrigerator. Very cozy and comfortable cabin. There were 4 kayaks and a canoe for playing in the water. The dock had ladder which made it easy to get in/out of kayak. Both Cozette and Randy were very accommodating. They made sure we had everything we needed. Great communication!

The hosts were always so quick to respond and regularly checking in to see if I needed anything! Overall, very nice stay. Cute cozy cabin if you need a tranquil break from the city!

The place was great. The kitchen was amazing. It was great to have laundry on site. The Bathroom has a very nicely updated. The only issues we found while there—which was not the cabin’s fault— we both have bad backs, was the bed was not very comfortable – was the bed and the couch were not comfortable for us. If you’re old or have a bad back, maybe this isn’t the best for you. Otherwise this place was amazing!

Brad's home is breathtakingly beautiful. My family of four stayed at his place for two nights (very spacious and clean) on our way from Seward to Denali. With offerings such as kayaking on the gorgeous lake to a personal sauna with a scenery, this house is a perfect place to unwind and relax. It is also a short drive to Anchorage so location is not an issue. Brad was always very quick to respond to our various questions, which made our overall stay even easier and more comfortable. I mean... this place has heated bathroom floor, that's unheard of! Highly recommend

We loved our stay at this house. The neighborhood was quiet and the home was clean. We spent hours outside enjoying the fenced yard, kayaking on the lake, and sitting around the fire. We will definitely be back!
