Vacation Beach Gem by the River/Hot Tub

It's a nice place with super comfy beds and fancy bathrooms, as everyone says! Unfortunately the living/dining spaces and furniture are much less comfortable, the layout isn't the most conducive to spending time together, and the kitchen was missing some key items. To her credit, Hila was very responsive and even overnighted a box of missing supplies, and offered to fix issues quickly. But a lot of things weren't there as we needed them: a kettle, oven mitts, foil, the salt was almost out, only canola no olive oil, etc. While there were a lot of nice touches around the house, there were just as many small annoyances that felt like they wouldn't be tolerated if someone lived there. If you plan to spend most of the day out and just come back to sleep, wash up, and hot tub, this is perfect. If you want to cook and be cozy/comfy together, maybe not ideal? Wonderful location right on the bay. Deck with hot tub was the best part affording beautiful views of the bay and surrounding hills. If you’re looking for a brand-new feel on the interior this may not be the place for you as it’s a little bit dated but it was very clean and as described. Bob was very responsive and has a great selection of books and CDs!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Deja Blu. The location is perfection! Private, with beautiful gardens, only a hop, skip and a jump from the ocean. Falling asleep to the sound of crashing waves at night was divine. The home was clean and comfortable, and Barr was a lovely, helpful host. If you are looking to unwind in serenity, I highly recommend this home.

We got married on April 17th in Tomales and this was our pre-wedding and honeymoon home for the week. We brought our pups are were beyond delighted with how accommodating this home was, both to us humans and the dogs. The deck was probably our favorite part. Plenty of space and chairs for lounging and enjoying the INCREDIVLE views. And our dogs were so happy to cuddle with us too. We will 100% be returning for our anniversaries. Thank you so much Dennis and Dan for a more than memorable week. You really were the cherry on top of the best vacation ever. 🥰

Sundog cottage is lovely! We were so happy to find that it was even more beautiful in person than the pictures. Super clean, great kitchen, deck and backyard were perfect for our dogs and just relaxing and listening to the ocean. The linens are amazing and the beds comfy! Valerie went above and beyond as a host, even left us local eggs, butter and crackers. She was friendly and easy to communicate with. Sundog is a gem and we can’t wait to come back!

This house in Fort Bragg was perfect!! From the well equipped kitchen, to the lovely furnishings, the deluxe showers and the two minute walk to the ocean, you couldn’t ask for more. We appreciated being able to book just one night, although we would have loved to stay longer! Christine knew we had our six year old grandson with us and left a fun little scavenger hunt for him in the house. Be sure to take the very short walk to the ocean, the views are breathtaking. This was a comfortable and perfect place for our quick trip to Fort Bragg!! We recommend the Skunk Train Rail Bike trip while you are visiting, lots of fun for kids (and grown up kids!!!)

We absolutely loved the home and location. Upon arrival, we went for a walk to take in the beautiful ocean view and hear the sounds of the waves crashing. We then walked a few minutes to a great seafood restaurant that had wonderful food. The local Safeway delivered groceries and we had a fun night in. The ocean view from the home is amazing! We were visited by deer and our party, which included all ages, had the most wonderful time. The hosts were very welcoming, responsive, and provided a beautiful, fun space. We had the most amazing time and hope to return soon!!
