Spacious design townhouse with garden

MattRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This is a beautiful, spacious, very well appointed house in a great neighborhood. It's priced accordingly! But to quote Ferris Bueller: "If you have the means, I highly recommend it". My family had a great time in Amsterdam using this as our home base and it was the perfect place to start and end our adventures each day.

Canal View Loft

Michelle JacobsonRating, 5 stars10 months ago
I stayed for a month, and the apartment was great. It was so lovely to sit at the open windows overlooking the canal, the bed was very comfortable, I had everything I needed, and it's a short bike ride to anywhere. The tour of the upstairs was fascinating! Good to know: Part of the beauty of this place is that it's near the center, in the old section. That means there are canals everywhere, it has tons of character and history, and it's easy to get anywhere on foot or by bike. It also means that it is near a touristy area. Don't let that stop you! I don't like the hordes of tourists at all, but I was happy here. I simply rode a few blocks away at the busiest times to escape. And Herengracht itself in front of the building isn't crowded. Sure, canal tour boats glide by, but they're fun to watch. The couch is comfy, the chairs are less so, but two people can enjoy the couch. The kitchen is a little bit worn, but it was clean and served my purposes (I did not cook). I would return!
A small green table and two chairs are positioned against a wall, illustrating a play area for children. Colorful toys, including cars and a spiral slide, are arranged nearby, with a wall-mounted television visible in the background.

Comfortable Countryside house near Amsterdam

Quoc CuongRating, 5 stars8 months ago
The house fits well the description and was easy to find. A bus stop only 4 minutes of walk and also there’s a supermarket with 7 minutes of walking. The place was clean, cozy and the cat is also really cute!
An open space connects the living area to a cozy seating arrangement, featuring a large sofa. A bookshelf filled with colorful titles stands nearby, complemented by large windows allowing natural light to enhance the ambiance.

Spacious townhouse in Rotterdam

RomanRating, 5 stars32 months ago
Charming house in a lovely neighborhood, equipped with everything we needed and lots of space (indispensable if travelling with two teenagers). We very much enjoyed the tastefully decorated kitchen/ living area. The communication was great throughout, Vincent and Michiel were very friendly and helpful and gave us plenty of advices what to do and where to go. We had a great time touring the area and the house was the perfect base for discovering Rotterdam (the city center is just a 15 minute bike ride away) and many other places in beautiful Zuid-Holland.
The image captures a serene sunset over a collection of modern brick buildings, framed by lush greenery. A historic clock tower rises prominently against the sky, with clouds softly illuminated by warm hues. This view reflects a blend of contemporary living and historical architecture.

Big and stylish family-home with garden.

PeteRating, 5 stars8 months ago
Absolutely loved our stay at Jef & Mette's house, can't recommend it highly enough. The house is so cool, it has great character and feels like it's 'not just an ordinary house'. It's a very quiet residential neighborhood and felt safe, and there are supermarkets about 200m away. The tram stop for the city centre is about 200m in the other direction, so this is a great base for easy living and exploring Amsterdam. Jef and Mette were great hosts, very communicative, and they gave clear instructions for every part of our stay. We would happily go back, and would very much recommend it.

We really enjoyed our stay at Alina and Tony's home. We were traveling with our 14 month old so it was great to have a crib, high chair and toys for her to play with. The house was super spacious and comfortable and it was beautiful to stay next to the canal! Would definitely recommend staying here!

Big family house in Amsterdam West

AlessandroRating, 5 stars8 months ago
My family and I stayed a week in Jos's house to visit the City. By public transport it was easy to get to both the airport and the center with the various museums. Jos's house is very large, comfortable, well furnished and clean, it is located in a quiet neighborhood near a lake with a beach. We didn't meet Jos and his family in person because they were on vacation at the same time, but communication was easy and all the directions were clear.
A spacious living area features a light wooden floor, stylish furniture, and a piano. Large glass doors open to a private garden, allowing natural light to fill the room. A dining table with black chairs is situated next to a wall adorned with shelves and plants.

Family house w/ garden in Old South Amsterdam

NancyRating, 5 stars64 months ago
Anouk is a perfect host, friendly and immediately responsive to a question we asked during our stay. It’s a wonderful house for a family with children— a large, open, attractive but unfussy space with its own garden and easy proximity to a market. We were 3 generations, but we grandparents had no problems, since we entered on the ground floor and climbed only one flight of stairs to the bedrooms. A happy time.
The garden area features a wooden seating arrangement surrounded by greenery and flowers. A round fire pit is placed on a stone surface, and a flower pot adds a touch of color. The fence and walls offer a sense of privacy for outdoor relaxation.

Fig Tree family house

FranciscoRating, 5 stars17 months ago
If you are searching for a place to stay in the Netherlands, you can stop now. This is it. It’s less than an hour away from Amsterdam, and right around Haarlem’s centre. The view to the Spaarne river and how quiet the city is, is just incredible. The photos and descriptions of this airbnb don’t do justice. I can assure you it’s much better. The house is big enough to fit five people comfortably, and it’s so beautiful that we were constantly tempted to just stay and hang out there, enjoying the view of the river at the front, or the Church of St. Bavokerk that can be seen from the kitchen; or go to the terrace if it’s sunny. I can’t recommend this enough!

We enjoyed a family holiday at Kees home. The house is large both indoors and outdoors and great for alfresco eating. The location is a short walk from the Old Town but in a quiet and peaceful location. Kees was on hand to answer any queries and to suggest options for enjoying our time in Leiden. A perfect stay. Cozy house in Haarlem-West near beach and forest

ColinRating, 5 stars23 months ago
We five had an excellent stay. Photos shown are accurate. We asked for a photo of the kitchen which was sent to us. Ground floor has kitchen, living room, and toilet under the stairs. Second floor has two bedrooms and a washroom with shower/bath but no toilet. Third floor is a bedroom. The place was reasonably clean and the beds were reasonably comfortable. Heating worked well once we figured out the thermostat. Kitchen has plenty of dishes/glasses/cutlery, etc. Small refrigerator. Bathroom was clean, and plenty of hot water. Back yard was very nice. Parking on the street was free. Streets are very narrow in the neighborhood. Very quiet. We walked to the Overveen train station to take the 20-minute train ride into Amsterdam to avoid hastle of driving and parking, but would drive to nearby Zandvoort, which is a great beach town. Nearby stores. Two bedrooms on 2nd floor had no dressers or suitable wardrobes, which would be nice to have.

Cozy warehouse on Utrechtse canal

RandallRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We have been to Utrecht several times. This was one of our favorite AirBnbs. We would return in a heartbeat. Enjoyed being along the canal. The apartment is actually much more quaint and attractive in person than what the photos indicate. There is a bit of a walk to the center of the historic district but quite manageable and enjoyable.

Enjoy Amsterdam: City Buzz & Beach Breeze

AnnemarieRating, 5 stars8 months ago
We were 3 older women who booked Maren's place. We liked the very quiet surroundings very much, especially that we could sleep excellently at night. Even though we had to take the tram 15 minutes from Central Station and then 5 minutes on foot, that was absolutely no problem for us. We did not eat at the place, but everything would have been available to cook meals. In general, everything worked out well and we would recommend the place to anyone.
