Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Ameland

It was a great stay in a cozy house. Check-in was uncomplicated, we were able to park the car in front of the house. The apartment itself is large and cozy with an open kitchen that has everything you needed. Bathroom and bedroom had been great too. We felt very comfortable and would book there again at any time.

The hosts were genuinely warm, friendly and very caring. We did not feel hesitant to reach out or ask a question during the whole process from first contact, late check-in and during our stay. They even made the effort to seeing us off in person. A true superhost!

Really peaceful place to stay. Helen and her husband are welcoming and friendly people. Perfect place if you are looking for some calm period of time

We were warmly welcomed with a bottle of good wine and water and a lovely bouquet of flowers. The garden simply invites you to relax. Pure nature right outside the door! Were able to watch many birds and other animals. In the village there is a pretty restaurant with a good food.

Nice and modern cottage, with all the comforts. Henk is also a very friendly and flexible host: we were very grateful to him for the possibility to sleep in on the Monday after the Berenloop! I highly recommend this cottage!!

We had a great stay at Nettys cute guest house. Everything was like described, very clean and cozy. Kollum is a nice and calm area and Groningen is only a 30 min drive away. We would definitely recommend and would love to come visit again!

nice and quiet place far from the bustle of the city. With all amenities, a great garden. Also a lot of info on places to go. Too bad it rained all the time.

We had a very comfortable short stay at Roger's place. Close to the boat towards Schiermonnikoog. Staying here is highly recommended!

We had a very nice time together with our daughter of 3 months old. There was a crib, changing mat and Tripp Trapp available. It is a cozy and clean accommodation. Iris and Reyer are very friendly and have given all kinds of recommendations. Also nice that the kitchen was well equipped. During this period of the year, a lot of restaurants (for dinner) is closed.

Goasse was a very nice host. His Airbnb is well equipped and has everything you need for a longer stay. There was also a bike to rent, which I enjoyed very much. Also the conversations in between with Goasse were always nice. I would definitely come back!

We had a very good time at Minke's place and we will definitely come back. Minke and Robert are very friendly. When we arrived there was a bottle of wine and a sweet bread on the table. Thanks for this! Our 2 kids also liked it very much. The whole area is very quiet - as expected and as we wanted it to be. The kids could run around, drive with bikes and "kettcars" or play around with anything they could find. They were outside the whole time. Minke had very good tipps for excursions. The trek-in had everything we needed for 5 days. As there is no supermarket to reach by foot one should think to bring enough things to eat and drink. Kollum is to be reached by car in about 10 minutes with supermarket and everything necessary. All in all we really recommend the accommodation!

We would like to sincerely thank Minke – our time at her place was just great! The fresh country air, the beautiful nature and the many animals have made our stay extra special. Especially our 8-year-old daughter had great fun, especially when traveling by canoe, which was a real adventure for her. The child-friendly play area was another highlight because it was equipped with lots of toys and offered plenty of variety for the little ones. Even for a cozy campfire, there was everything that was a real plus for us. A special experience was also the playful and cuddly cat from the neighborhood, which our daughter still raves about. She really conquered her heart! It was an unforgettable family vacation that we will remember for a long time. Thank you for this wonderful time!
