Amboise vacation rentals

We spent 4 days in this charming little house, a couple and 3 children (from 4 to 12 years old). Pretty simple and modern decor. Many amenities a TV from each bedroom and one in the living room, several coffee shops for everyone's tastes, fridge, oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, raclette machine... and so on. Quiet house, enclosed and private courtyard.... Beauval Zoo not far away easily accessible. Large area is 3 minutes away. Friendly host, who was there to welcome us, and also seen when we left. In short pleasant stay we would have stayed a little more!!!!

Yvon & Anne’s place is beautiful! The house is clean and well equipped, the pool is wonderful and the gardens are incredible! Our kids loved playing in them for hours. Yvon & Anne were very helpful and kind and we would highly recommend their place for anyone looking for a quiet and peaceful place to stay. We would note that the stairs in the property are very steep but there is a photo you can see listing. They also have a safety gate at the top for during the night.

Pleasant and very well-appointed mobile home. Gated terrace appreciated especially when you have small children. Lovely and welcoming host.

Really a very nice house, welcoming and modern and endowed in a large garden equipped for leisure! I spent a very peaceful week perfectly suited to this business trip for which I wanted comfort and tranquility close to Tours. I highly recommend this listing!

We were very well received by Christophe. The accommodation is very well arranged. We were coming to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary and Christophe had a kind attention. Christophe told us about restaurants and a cellar. I recommend this host.

Small cabin in the forest easily accessible thanks to the very clear explanations of the listing. The location is exceptional, quiet, surrounded by trees and animals. Inside everything you need to feel good: a nice decoration, two bedrooms with decent bedding, an impeccable bathroom and a stove available! We spent 5 days there in November, not the best time to enjoy the surroundings (cave villages and children's parks) but the zoo and castle visits are appreciated at this time when there is no one there! And the inclement weather days we were fine with our daughter in this charming cabin. We will be happy to come back in summer to enjoy the terrace and pond below!

We loved staying at Daphne’s place. Gilles and Daphne are both adorable and caretaker Nicolas is a kind, friendly and understanding man with a love of nature and people. They wonderful hosts. The place is very traditional so if you are looking for super-modern amenities like Sat TV, air conditioning and washer-driers this probably won’t be the place for you. We loved it though - the kitchen is stocked with best quality pots and pans and the gas cooker delivers perfection. Even the rushed bacon and onion omelette I made just before departure was a hit with the family! Look out for the farmers’ market at St Georges on Sunday morning for the best quality vegetables and cheeses, but the local Super U is incredibly well stocked with all sorts of French yummy food. One word of caution: the restaurant scene is not great and this isn’t Paris - they literally will say no if you show up after 9pm. Kayaking up to Chenonceau (we used Kayak Family) was probably the highlight. Will be back!
