One of two studio apartments that are located on the lower level of our home. Spacious and cool, situated on our tree-filled property in a residential area of Caye Caulker. Each unit has a full kitchen, A/C, fans, hammock, wifi, queen size bed, futon, unlimited drinking water, and BIKES! BBQ grill & picnic tables in the yard which is shared with us and any other guests. Pike and Hillary have gone way beyond any possible expectations! They are such kindhearted and warm people, part of a beautiful family. The location is perfect - walkable to go to the center, but far enough to be in peace, enjoying the beautiful garden and relaxing on a hammock while cuddling their beautiful dogs. They made available bikes free of charge to make the commute to the center even easier. The accommodation is very quiet and comfortable. It has everything we need, and more: a comfortable bed, a fan, a functional kitchen with equipment such as a blender and a coffee machine, and a bathroom with shampoo, conditional, and shower gel. They also made available bed sheets and towels (and beach towels). The WiFi connection is stable, and they made available to us some options for excursions and tours (although they were best placed to help finding the right options and discover this beautiful island). Don’t hesitate a second! Pike and Hillary are the best hosts.

The location here is very superior, allowing me to spend a wonderful and happy holiday on the island. I booked a plane to see the Great Blue Hole on the island. I went diving at the Great Blue Hole, and achieved a small goal in my life. Everything is wonderful.

Dena’s place was off the beaten path (literally) and we loved it! We enjoyed being a little far away from the city centre and getting to explore the island in a different way. Dena provided bikes and that made it a breeze to get around to see and do everything we wanted on the island.

We stayed at one of Francis's Bay Blue Cottages and it was absolutely incredible. Francis was quite possible the best host we've ever had at any listing. He takes great pride in his property and it really shows. The property was pristine, private, quiet and a perfect piece of paradise. Francis was beyond friendly, very helpful with local recommendations and exactly what you want from your host. I cannot recommend this place enough. We will be back as soon as possible.

Mary Alice (Chris’ wife) was so accommodating to our large group. Our reservations were right after hurricane Beryl was expected to hit Belize and they kept us in the loop of what could happen and how our stay might be affected. Thankfully it didn’t hit Belize. She arranged for golf carts to be waiting for us and for transportation from the water taxi to the house. She also gave great recommendations for things to do and places to eat (and some to avoid). The location of the house was on the water and it was nice and breezy almost all the time - which was great because the breeze kept the mosquitos away. Whenever I had a question during our stay, she was super responsive and helpful. My family had a great time at the house - it was really our home away from home. When we were out we kept saying “when we get back home.” I would totally recommend Iguana House to anyone looking for a chill beach house vibe.

I had a pleasant stay at this Airbnb. The apartment had a lot of character, with artistic touches that made it feel cozy and unique. The bed was comfortable, and the space was generally well-equipped for my needs. The staff were very friendly and provided helpful local recommendations. The rooftop was a cool place to hang out and watch the sunrise. However, I did encounter a couple of minor issues. The door was a bit tricky to lock, which took some getting used to. Additionally, while the space was mostly clean, it could have benefited from a more thorough cleaning before our arrival. Despite these small concerns, I enjoyed my stay and appreciated the condos’ chill vibe and sense of community.

The Treehouse is such a gem! My only regret is not booking a longer stay. The place is homey, lived in, and the private beach access could not be beat. Rubio, the caretaker, was incredibly attentive and so generous, helping us with the kayaks and always getting us fresh coconuts. It’s a perfect get away and I can’t wait to return!!

This one bedroom condo is perfect for visiting the north end of San Pedro. It is quite the drive from the airport or Belize express but worth it for the peacefulness of the property. It was nice to be able to have/make food. We were able to get a charter directly from the dock on the property. Host was responsive to the issues we had (breaker for the water heater had gone out) that was no fault of theirs. We would absolutely stay here again! Also, the onsite eatery was good!

Hummingbird Pink 2 bedroom detached cabin

We highly recommend the Hummingbird Pink cottage for families with older children. The cottage is in a quiet, residential section and we appreciated being out of the fray of the downtown area. However, it is still very easy to get to everything on the island with the included bikes or by renting a golf cart. Biking is much more peaceful and it's nice to be able to maneuver around the potholes, but if you are a scuba diver with a big dive bag, like us, I do recommend a golf cart for that. We loved the pool area and the overall peacefulness of the cottages. All units were rented out while we were there and it was still very quiet and secluded. I was worried I would be disappointed to not be on the waterfront/not have an ocean view, but I found the peacefulness and tranquil pool area perfectly satisfying, especially since the island lacks good swimming beaches. Bobbi and Heydi are wonderful hosts and this rental exceeded our expectations! We would love to return!

Literally located in the middle of San Pedro and a couple of steps to everywhere. Clive is very proactive and has been coordinating with me on my arrival days before. Clive was at the ferry terminal to pick me up. Clive provided me with plenty of tips re where to eat and what to do as well. Very much a recommended place esp for solo travellers. Do note that I chose Clive’s because of location and convenience. This is not a beach front property but walk a block or two you will be at the waterfront.

This was a great house for four couples. We had a lot of space and enjoyed having our own bathrooms. Teresa cooked 4 meals for us and only charged $5 per person plus groceries. She also did our laundry and provided fresh towels daily. Buy coffee and water before your arrival because these items are not provided. The house is hard to find so get directions before arrival. Service is spotty. We rented golf carts which you will need to get around. Prices vary so check out different rental companies. Our boat was broke down for a few days which was a bummer. Jonathan was not a ball of fire. He was slow to respond and not excited about taking us snorkeling or fishing. Make sure you snorkel 10 minutes from house. You will see sting ray and sharks. We also dove for conch and had fresh ceviche. This was a highlight of our trip. There are several stores and restaurants within walking distance from house. You can also use pools nearby and a dive shop. Great trip!!!!!
