Welcome pack in the fridge much appreciated on arrival and baguette, hot croissants each morning placed on the door in addition to the aperitif at Porto 10 years old brought in the early evening Comfortable bedding, maintained and much appreciated hot tub that can be used at will and out of sight José is responsive and very friendly, he is a perfect host

This was our favourite rental we have ever stayed in. The photos and description do not do it justice. From the amazing pool to the fresh eggs, fruit and vegetables that you can pick from the vast grounds. Lots to do nearby if you have the use of a car. Our hosts were easy to deal with and very helpful. 10/10 for our stay.

Everything perfect, great quick host to answer and clarify all doubts, during the stay she was very attentive (booking in the restaurant to eat, giving us coffee capsules etc.). The house is equipped with everything you'll need. Fantastic pool. Very large farm, our dog also really enjoyed it. Highly recommended, if we come back to the area someday.

It is one thing to see the accommodation through the photos of the site, but the reality is that it is much better in person and surpasses any expectation. A space that makes us feel at home but also in another world equipped with utensils and kitchen, coffee maker, toaster, microwave , wonderful view, cozy space and beautifully decorated. The site is close to the center, so there is a lot to do in the city, lots of restaurants and places to visit. Super recommend Casa da Benfeitoria because from the moment something exceeds all our expectations deserves all its merit. A thank you to Sílvio for its kindness and willingness to welcome us and for managing such a beautiful and magical place. We really want to come back and we advise everyone to spend a weekend at Casa da Benfeitoria, you will not regret it!!

We loved the apartment with unbeatable views and we had everything you need to spend a pleasant stay. There were also kittens in the area that accompanied us every time we went out. If there is something to improve are the dining chairs, they are not very comfortable, otherwise we will definitely repeat.

Super Stay, Mr. Fernando a very friendly and available person, a very nice place with everything it takes to be able to spend a good time ( holidays, weekends ) Restaurants right next to 300 meters +- with reasonable price and quality. Good hiking routes through the Alvão & Marão mountain range .

I had an incredible stay there! The house is cozy, beautifully maintained, and perfectly nestled in nature. The views are absolutely breathtaking—waking up to the stunning forest and lake was a highlight of my trip. It’s the perfect spot for anyone looking to relax and enjoy natural beauty. I had an amazing time at Quinta De Travancela's place! The houses are wonderful, big, comfortable, spacious and had everything that I needed! Also Diogo and his family are wonderful people, very helpful and fully of information about local history and what to do around! We loved staying at Americo’s house. It was in a stunning location with beautiful views as far as the eye can see of the Douro valley. The house sits in well loved landscaped gardens, with a lovely pool and outside sitting/eating area. There is a bonus area with fruit trees. The house is well furnished, cosy and comfortable. It was plenty of room for two small families. Our hosts were so kind and communicated well throughout the process. We did have problems locating the house, even following the instructions (Apple Maps sent us to the wrong location). But the hosts were patient. It’s a bit of a drive to go to larger sight seeing attractions and very windy for non-confident drivers. But for us it was perfect - we had all we needed in a 20 minute radius and drove to Porto for one day (it’s a 50 minute drive). The house and location is stunning and the hosts welcoming - I would definitely return and recommend to others!

It's been 3 days and with hosts like Mr. Carlos and D. Alice everything gets better. We love all the moments that were lived there and recommend this local accommodation to everyone at 100%. We hope to return soon

Very spacious house, very well equipped and very friendly, ideal for a stay with family and teenagers who can have their space. Dedicated parking at the house, nearby. Great welcome and cold drinks upon arrival. For swimming municipal swimming pool and river accessible by car (to the left of the bridge, opposite the picnic area)

We stayed at Pedro's house for ten days with our two sons, 8 and 10 years old. It was very nice there, the children could splash in the pool, we cooked a lot, grilled and read the terrace with hammock and the huge fantastic garden. With the canoe you could go directly from the garden to the river. Nazarè, who took care of the garden every day, told us a lot about the area and gifted us with lemons and vegetables from her own garden. We made excursions through the vineyards and also day trips to Porto and Amarante. Thank you Pedro and Nazarè for the beautiful and relaxing time!

we had a very pleasant week at ana paula's..the environment is beautiful and very quiet...yet it is very easy to access the roads leading to the Douro Valley or to Porto. the house is spacious. ana Paula is always attentive, without being intrusive. we are delighted with our week.

Above any expectation

very nice apartment with 1 bedroom and a living room kitchen, very functional and very well-equipped. There is a private car park closed by an electorized gate. This home also has a small garden, an outdoor kitchen and a swimming pool of a beautiful volume. I recommend without hesitation!!

Stay beyond our expectations. The property was for us alone, many vines and fruit trees, electric gate, in complete safety. We feasted on the plum lemons from the orchards. The views are fantastic among the Portuguese mountains. The pool is perfect for us alone and always this view of the mountains and vineyards. a real paradise of tranquility. The air-conditioned house is very well equipped and clean. The shower room is a little small on the other hand. The huge courtyard with living room and garden table allowed us to enjoy these warm summer evenings. To visit, however, it takes a little more km than we had thought of. We did not have the chance to see the owner, however Manuel was always very responsive for us. Thank you for the wonderful stay near Porto. PS: For people with light sleep, think of the Kies balls because at night a lot of barking, but that doesn't take away all the charm of this property.

Dona Cristina was super helpful and attentive. Always available in person and over the phone to clarify any questions. It's a great place to spend a family vacation.

It was a great stay, the apartment is great, and Filipe is always responsive. A superb view of Amarante and the surrounding area, an accessible and clean pool. Very good restaurant not far away run by Filipe. We hope to be able to come back next year.

The space is very pleasant, consisting of rustic houses on a farm in the middle of nature in an environment of tranquility perfect for those who like to relax away from the confusion of big cities. a great breakfast, a wonderful pool with great views, a waterfront river, river paths along the river, good wines, etc... Kind people, simple, hard to find nowadays. Everything is great and impeccable from reception to departure. Green space, fresh air, vineyards, swimming pool. All fantastic. Definitely repeating.

The house and Susana are at their BEST. The location is very difficult to find (lack of GPS) and no shops next door. The rest is really quiet!
