Villa vacation rentals in Amager

We were a group of three friends travelling together and were made to feel so welcome by Ilia. Ilia made contact before our trip to arrange details of when we were to arrive and exchange phone numbers in case of any problems. Unfortunately we did hit a few problems on the way over, we had a delayed flight and somehow ended up at the wrong train station! Ilia was so helpful, she collected us from the station and took us to the house via a wonderful restaurant where we were able to collect a takeaway meal (Armando's in Gentofte - highly recommended!). Throughout our stay Ilia was unobtrusive but easy to contact, and gave us good recommendations on the local museums and art galleries. Ilia and Carsten's home is very comfortable to stay in and just as stunning as it appears in the pictures. It is a very peaceful place to stay and yet within an easy walk of the nearest train station and supermarket.

We were visiting Copenhagen for my fiance's work before transitioning into a vacation with friends. We loved the location - in a beautiful seaside town, very walkable and safe, next to what we all agreed was genuinely the best pizza we'd each had. Jesper was friendly, communicative, and helpful (and so was his kind cat who visited the yard a few times!) The place itself was very clean and comfortable, well designed and historic and we all felt relaxed and at home. what's more, one is able to easily reach downtown Copenhagen while still enjoying the advantages of a calm suburban area.

Great place to stay with a large forest, an art museum, the city, supermarkets, and a train and bus connection to Copenhagen city nearby. Superb communication from the host that made us feel at home from the very start. Would recommend this place to anyone and stay here again ourselves.

We really liked our stay. The neighbourhood was really nice, the house was very family oriented and had everything you needed for a good stay. Our older kids (aged 3 and 6) really loved the huge garden. Would definitely consider it again!

Very beautiful and large spacious house. Great location to visit, just 15 min walk from train station. Please note that the third bedroom is not a bedroom as such, but a sofa in the hallway! We had not read the listing correctly and had not seen that animals lived under the roofs, being allergic it was not pleasant. But everything else was perfect.

We had a great stay and everything was super easy, we felt like at home. The hosts were very responsive and easy to communicate with. The house itself is extremely nice, well built with a lot of care and also equipped, there is simply everything you need and easy to handle / manage.

This is the nicest Airbnb we have ever stayed in! It is an absolutely incredible house with a stunning garden. The technology built into the house really makes this one very special and the view is so beautiful. Even though we were in a street close to other houses we felt completely secluded which was very peaceful. We would love to stay again!

My family and I had an incredible stay at Lisbet and Kristian’s property! The property was absolutely amazing – clean, beautifully decorated, and equipped with all the amenities one could possibly need. The location was perfect, providing easy access to supermarkets, restaurants and close enough to the train station to visit downtown Copenhagen. What truly made our stay exceptional was our gracious and helpful hosts. From the moment I booked, they were incredibly responsive and provided detailed information about the property and the surrounding area. During my stay, Kristian went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, including buying a crib for my 5 month old, and offering great recommendations for local dining and activities. I highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay near Copenhagen. Thank you Lisbet and Kristian for your outstanding hospitality.

This is a beautiful home in one of the nicest, more suburban areas north of Copenhagen. However, it was still extremely convenient to either drive (20 mins) or take the train (13 min walk to the train, then 15 mins on it) into the city. We stayed here with our family and friends and it's a great place for people with kids. The host family was also very accommodating and responsive for any issues that arose. The one thing I would mention that didn't bother us but might be different for some people is that their family does live in this house. They did an excellent job preparing the property, but it's a little different experience than when you're staying at a pure rental property in terms of storage space for clothing, but it's also very nice in terms of things like kitchen equipment where you'll usually find things a little more bare-bones in a pure rental. We'd love to come back and stay again.

Amazing place for any cool families. Wonderful location, next to the sea, beautiful views, beautiful interiors, all the mod cons & cool tech, easy to drive / ride / walk to the Karlslunde Station to Copenhagen, cute little cat, cool TV and audio system, plenty of bathrooms, plenty of parking, plenty of beach, loved the bikes, stand-up paddle board, and pier. Easily the coolest Airbnb we have visited.

Spacious and stylish home in Frederiksberg neighborhood of Copenhagen. Four bedrooms located upstairs as well as a bathroom. On the ground floor there is a wide open kitchen with dining area, living room + reading room, office and another bathroom. Lots of natural light throughout the house which was very nice. Also, big backyard with sitting area and basketball hoop. Easily accommodated our group of seven, plenty of room to spread out. It is on a busier road so there is some noise from the street but, nothing unusual or bothersome for city living. Future suggestions: Add on-site laundry, I was not aware the house did not have laundry but, it was mentioned on listing. There is a laundromat about quarter of a mile away but, not how I wanted to spend my time. Also, a tip would be to bring a sleep mask. There are shades in each bedroom but, the sun comes up early and strong.

We had a lovely time in the house. Everything was as described and the house was just beautiful! Would come back!

Maj and her family have been lovely hosts. Their house is well located, with public transportation is really easy to get around the city. We've been comfortable being 8 adults, the common areas are big and welcoming. The bathrooms were a bit small but we found everything we needed. We will certainly keep Maj's place in mind when we'll come back to Copenhagen.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at Eva and Lasse’s place. The view is absolutely stunning. We spent many evenings watching the sunset and my children loved playing on the beach, flying their kite and paddle boarding. The beach is not private yet we barely saw any other people in July- it almost felt like it was just for us! The house has its own beautiful garden where we playing football and sat around the fire pit. The house itself is beautiful and modern, with microcement floorings and a very nice functional kitchen. We have stayed in Copenhagen before but this was by far a much better option (especially for families). Greve is a lovely town and Copenhagen is a 25 minute drive away so we were able to enjoy both the Danish nature as well as city life. Highly recommend the sushi place just 2 minute drive away. Eva and Lasse were so accommodating and kind. Thank you for having us!

Peter's home was simply a perfect place for our family of 8 ppl, 7 adults and a child, where we stayed during our Denmark vacation. Felt welcomed from the moment we stepped a foot inside the house. Peter is a such a great host, always responsive and has maintained such a cozy house that gives you the feeling of home right away. Great taste of interior and all the appropriate amenities. location is convenient and walking distance to nearby grocery stores, and public transport. Excellent Host.

Brilliant host, excellent villa. Jens was very kind, flexible, responsive, and accommodating. He dropped by on our first night to make sure we had settled in well and give us a tour of the property. any time that we had a question, Jens was happy to listen and do what he could to accommodate. couldn't recommend enough.

Large and well maintained house in a very quiet neighborhood 20 min drive from downtown Copenhagen. Caroline was a great host , very responsive and accommodating , We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend .

The house is truly unique on Airbnb, and we were fortunate to secure one of the rare time slots available. The house and farm are even more beautiful than the pictures suggest. Bjørn and his family were very kind and supportive hosts, making us feel welcomed and appreciated. We had a fantastic time exploring Copenhagen, Roskilde, and Helsingør, biking through the stunning landscape, relaxing by the pool, or enjoying the evening sun on the terrace. Even the little rain we experienced didn’t dampen our spirits, as we enjoyed the cozy and charming interior of the house. To be clear: we would love to come back!

We had another wonderful holiday in a very cozy and stylishly furnished house with pool. The area invites you to great excursions (forest with wildlife as well as one of the world's oldest amusement parks are within walking distance). The furnishings leave nothing to be desired and the contact with Helene and Christian was very friendly and uncomplicated. We will be happy to come back!

Really nice place in a great location for exploring the forest and visiting the beach.
