Lake house vacation rentals in Altmühlsee

We stayed at the Swedish house for our annual vacation and ended up counting the days until arrival. We were not disappointed on site - the atmosphere was really "mysigt", the equipment left nothing to be desired and Mareike was always there for us with tips and tricks. We fell in love with the area very quickly, which was made a little easier by the excursion destinations and activities that were recommended to us in the Walder village shop. The place was very special, We arrived earlier than agreed and Van immediately set out to open the doors for us. She warmly invited us to her Air BnB and we had no problems checking in. In addition to Van, the house cat Keks was also a must. She was a faithful companion who stopped by our apartment several times a day. The special thing about this apartment is the variety of decorations and sleeping options and the bathrooms were particularly clean. Van was always friendly and very accommodating and always had good recommendations for us, no matter what we would do in the evening. Since our stay was for a trade fair that took place in the Meistersingerhalle, this Air BnB was particularly practical because you had a 50 m walk to the hall from the accommodation. Van asked us at the beginning of the stay if we were hungry or thirsty, which we found particularly accommodating. We would recommend this Airbnb any time.

We were extremely happy with the place. Everything was pleasantly clean, and the facility left nothing to be desired. The contact with Kerstin was always friendly, helpful and reliable. We felt very comfortable both in the house and due to the direct proximity to the beautiful nature around the lake. We would love to come back anytime and fully recommend the place.

Van was great at communication, she also allowed us to check out late as our flight was not till the evening. The house was as described and there was plenty of room for everyone. thanks

The house is beautiful, the photos don't do it justice. Very spacious communal areas, lovely views and all amenities you could need. The swimming lake is a short walk and really nice (even though the small beach is packed in holiday season). The host's family that checked us in were lovely and accommodating.
