Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Alpine Shire

We had a lovely stay the house was perfect for an extended family weekend. it was spacious and comfortable with everything you need. Even a kangaroo or two to welcome the gradkids.

We had a lovely stay at Olivia’s home. It was an easy walk to the park, river and local cafe/pub. A short 5 minute drive to Bright too. Olivia was so kind, I accidentally left some of my daughter’s items and she sent them back to me very promptly which was so appreciated. We’ll definitely be back soon! Thank you Olivia

Charli’s home was a lovely, comfortable place with all the amenities we needed. Charli was very proactive and very quick to respond. Would highly recommend her place.

Fantastic location with a short walk, or ride in to town. Plenty to see or do close by. Spacious and comfortable. Definately recommend.

The home was well furnished and spacious for our party of 7 adults and 2 dogs. The view of the valley from the front of the property is great. Having 2 seating areas in the house is helpful, as both areas have televisions and it was possible to watch different programs simultaneously. The beds were very comfortable with quality linen. The attention to detail is evident in every room. There is a fully equipped kitchen with ample crockery, cutlery, pans and tools. This made us feel “at home”. A good sized, well maintained, landscaped, fully fenced garden suited our 2 dogs. David, the host, promptly responded to any of our queries before we arrived at the property and while we were there, ensuring us of a comfortable and happy stay at the house. However, we have a suggestion regarding the steps inside the house. The steps need clearer demarcation to make them more visible, particularly as the steps are of varying depth. We had a great surreal experience at Michelle’s place. Everything was squeaky clean. It’s a lovely family home with so many memories and history. The house is nicely decorated with all Antiques from old times. We all loved the pool during the hot temperatures over the weekend. There is the Mitta Mitta river just across the road which was magical during the evening hour.Will be definitely back for another get together and connect with nature again.

Our family had a wonderful stay at Lumley House. It was spacious, clean and a great location . Close to town and views to die for. Linda was very friendly, accommodating and quick to reply. Would happily stay here again!

Relaxing cosy home with great items to keep the kids entertained. Beds were comfy and the deck was so relaxing to sit out on and get the fire pit going. Not far from town and the pool was really enjoyable. Thanks so much for having us!

We really loved Leigh and Madonna's place. It was really clean and nicely renovated. An easy walk into town as well as close access to a swimming hole and river walk. Leigh was very responsive, and made it easy to update our booking and provided an extra bed.

It’s was perfect for us as we had a dog and everything was walking distance would stay again had everything we needed and more we loved it cheers

Amazing location, so convenient after a day of snowboarding to not have to hike up an icey hill! Easy check-in and when we had an issue with the shower they were quick to respond. Hopefully we are lucky enough to stay here again in a future snow season.

Narelle’s place was so beautiful and enjoyable. Really good for family. The place was warm and tidy. Very close to the snow. Highly recommend for anyone

We had a wonderful time at the property and Chris was extremely helpful. The only suggestion we have is to remove the photo of the room featuring 2x single beds and the aircon unit as that was not part of the property

We loved staying in the apartment in Hotham, amazing views and had everything we needed. Great communication from the owner, you can’t go past the views in Hotham! Would love to stay again!

A lovely ski chalet perfectly located.

Have stayed five or six times now. I keep coming back because it is value for money (if you stay a few nights). Plus it has all one (or two) people need in a great location. And because Haz is a pleasure to deal with.

We had an absolutely lovely stay at Mary’s place. The apartment had everything we needed - from the super comfy bed and sofa, to all the kitchen amenities, as well as the high quality shampoo and hair conditioner that kept my hair very smooth even during winter times. I got to enjoy a nice cup of coffee every morning before hitting the slope as there’s a nespresso machine (there’s even cocoa powder provided to put on top of my coffee!!). From every little details, you could tell how much thoughts the host has put into designing this apartment. Location is perfect as well as it’s right at the centre of Hotham Central. Also, Mary is a super friendly and helpful host, very responsive whenever we needed help. We would love to stay here again.

Had a great stay here with a group of friends for a ski weekend in Mt Hotham. The place is so well set up, very spacious and the fire was going when we arrived. Kitchen has everything you need, big comfy couches and warm heaters throughout. Location is great, can easily walk to the shops or pub. Highly recommend!
