Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Almodôvar

I have been so lucky to be able to stay at this property that I do not know how to start my review!!!! The communication was fast, helpful and friendly. The property is beyond words.......it is amazing. The photos do not do it justice as it is just spectacular and it took my breath away. It is a relaxing and peaceful home that offers everything you could want and more. We were met on arrival and the whole place took my breath away. The home is clean, well looked after and obviously loved and has everything you need plus extra special touches. The gardens are beautiful and perfectly kept. The swimming pool is clean and a wonderful place to relax. The BBQ areas are well kept and thought out and so lovely to be around in the evenings. We had the whole property and my words to describe that are WOW! There were 3 of us and a dog. It is perfect for pets. Thank you for making our family holiday so perfect.

Asa’s home is a great spot for a family vacation, it is very comfortable, located in a peaceful complex with a beautiful pool and in close proximity (walking distance) to a beautiful beach. The children enjoyed the home so much as it also had a small playground next door to the house. There were two other areas also within a walking distance with restaurants and other beaches. All in all greatly recommended. Thank you for the beautiful visit. 🤍

the property was immaculate and a perfect location the only slight downside was no toilet door as sometimes you need privacy this hasn't stopped us booking the property again as we are returning in October the hosts were first class and always available

Very interesting architecture of the property, warm and cozy. We were very satisfied with the location in real Portugal far from tourism, by car we were able to reach all the points we wanted to look at. Just across the street there is a local cafe where you can get coffee in the morning and rolls for breakfast. Thank you so much for letting us stay with you for three nights. 🩷

We’ve just spent a relaxing week at Quinta do Sol. We loved that the location is rural and peaceful but there’s a supermarket 5 minutes drive and Tavira town about 10 minutes drive and beaches not much further. The house is comfortably furnished with good kitchen and bathrooms. We really enjoyed the pool and shady terrace area (which is about 100m from the house) Sophie met us at the house even though we arrived at 9pm and was always really responsive to any messages. We accidentally locked ourselves out and she came quickly to our rescue! She also recommended some great beaches. We would definitely stay again.

The house is perfect and the place a tranquillity. Corrou all very well and exceeded our expectations.

We had a fabulous time at Jef's house, The villa is extremely well equipped, we had everything we needed in the kitchen and to enjoy BBQ on the big terrace facing a relaxing and huge park, The place is very confortable and homely, The location is great, calm but in the same time walking distance to city center, supermarkets, restaurants, night life and beach, We couldn't ask for a better host, Jef is brilliant with his communication and recommendations, I 200% recommend !

I really enjoyed Tavira and did a lot of walkabouts in the town itself and in the countryside. Margret and Herberts place is a propper home, I was very comfortable and they were very fast, comunicative and helpfull my whole stay. It really made me feel they wanted me to have a wonderfull good time in Tavira and in their place.

Enjoyed my stay. good place to take a rest with the family. not too close and not to far from the main activities in Algarve. Enjoyed the little farm, the playroom and the pool. Andrea the host was very welcoming to me and my family. recommended

The house look exactly like the photos. It’s cosy and beautiful. Has everything we needed. The pool could be a little bigger but it was excellent anyway. Our dogs liked a lot too.

My Portuguese home! I stayed for two months - could have stayed longer. The vibe of this place is wonderful, it instantly feels warm and cosy. A place to relax and recalibrate. The gardens are beautiful with lemon trees welcoming you from the entrance, almond trees blossoming and roses surrounding you whilst you dine alfresco. Kathleen was a super host, responsive and attentive. Lilian looked after me on site impeccably, even saving me after I’d locked myself out! Adriano was super friendly when he came weekly to clean the pool and look after the garden. The kitchen is great for home cooking with everything you need. The main shower was delicious and the main bed was like a dream. Everything has been thought about and is setup as a home and not as a airbnb (or hotel). Thanks Kathleen, see you again soon!

Recommended accommodation without hesitation. As soon as we arrived, Mickaël was there to welcome us. He is very friendly. The house is impeccable, the entire private ground floor with private pool. A tenant lives upstairs but has their own access to the outside so no worries, they are discreet so if you see them once it's fine. The pool is bigger than in the photos so really interesting with barbecue and terrace. We loved our stay at Mickaël's and will come back without hesitation. As for the dog mentioned in several reviews, yes the neighbors have dogs, they are behind the wall on the barbecue side in kennels but during the day they are not there... you hear the barking a little in the evening and at night but it's really not all night or others in any case it can't ruin I think your stay unless a barking bothers you. House really lived up to our expectations.

Well located in the Algarve, making it look like everything we wanted to visit was about 30 minutes away. Host available and very responsive to our needs. The pool was unfortunately not ready for swimming, which is still not dramatic for the period we were there. Barbecue not used because grill is rusty. Quite spacious. We were 4 adults and it was perfect! We would definitely recommend this place.

Perfect place to slow down and enjoy! We had a family reunion and there was space for everyone to feel comfortable. Kids had a blast with animals and all the equipment available to them. We will definitely come back and will recommend to anyone planning a stay with friends or family.

Very good experience with the couple Hans and Sunamita. We were my friends, my little dog and I and they welcomed us very well. Very attentive to everything and above all very attentive to messages, they responded instantly. We were provided with all the information we needed as well as more sheets and also a hairdryer. As for the cabin it is very clean and above all very quiet in the middle of nature. If you need to go to a quiet place to relax, don't hesitate :) On the other hand, we also had access to the pool that is 50meters away from the cottage. In short, I would repeat without fail. Many thanks to you both for your kindness and your constant smile and see you soon!

My family and I loved our stay. The farm is located on top of a hill with an incredible view of the dam, all shared spaces are very beautiful and well maintained. We were made to feel very welcome and our Bungalow had the essentials, beautiful decor and modern style, we felt the care and attention to every detail. Breakfast was brought to the Bungalow and was delicious! It's a place to go back and recommend to family and friends!

Beautiful place on the edge of a small village (with only a single bar) It’s a wonderful spot to unwind. Great local recommendations- thanks for the restaurant advice in Almodovar - we had a wonderful home-cooked meal there. Loved this place.

The site has loved the nature and tranquility of the area. A great place to be with friends and family with children. Vitor was attentive to us waiting for us although we arrived very late and offered all the comforts possible. Thank you for everything!

Great place to unwind. The property lies near the lake of almodovar with stunning sunsets. We loved the breakfast with plenty of choice and the great service from the staff.
