Karl is an excellent host, very thoughtful and helpful, the house was clean and very well presented. I would recommend and great value for money.

Perfect space for 5 adults and 1 child with an amazing bathroom and a very lovely host. We had tea, sugar and milk already in the house and the beds were all very comfortable. We would definitely recommend and visit again in the summer.

Another successful stay, love the cottage and hope to return next year. Local pub was also a win and decent pricing.

Our 4th time staying here and it’s just perfect. 10 minutes walk into York and a beautiful home from home. We’ll be back next year !

we had a great stay at grants accommodation, ideally located for the centre of York, the amenities were great, and there was everything we needed at the house, lots of lovely restaurants and bars nearby. House was clean and the tea and coffee left was very much appreciated. we would stay again.

We had a great stay at Jennifer's house. It was exactly as described - very clean, very cosy and in an easy location for the seafront at Scarborough. Although there were parking restrictions between 9 - 5 outside the property, the disk that Jennifer provided allowed 3 hours of parking in that time which was very useful. Free all day parking was nearby anyway. I would definitely recommend this place for 2 people.

Perfect cottage in the most stunning surroundings. Ellie was a great host, clear instructions, easy self check and parking right outside the cottage. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely stay, shepherds hut was well equipped and had all you needed and was nice and cosy inside… outdoor space was also great and we loved the hot tub and bbq facilities which were provided. Gillan was a great host and showed us around, but privacy was not invaded which we liked. Would definitely recommend a stay here

Fantastic host, great communication in advance of booking and warm and friendly. House felt so comfortable for us as a family of four (11,12). Totally set up for families, tons of toys for small kids, board games, Xbox. It felt so easy, which is a joy when going away as a family. We took the train to York from nearby Seamer and had a fab day out. Recommend the York Chocolate Story which was informative and fun, lots of samples and making your own chocolate lolly at the end! Also visited Flamborough to see ‘the drinking dinosaur’ cliff formation. Take a right from the car park past the lighthouse. We spent a good half hour in the other direction peering at cliffs 😆. Had great sit in chippie in Filey at CJ’s. Felt proper Yorkshire to have a meat and potato pie! Beach is walkable to and is ginormous. We went to the pool every day and used tennis courts. Again everything needed was in the house. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Very comfortable stay at The Bay. We have stayed before in this flat but downstairs. Perfect place to stay for beach walks and walks along the coastal path. We thoroughly recommend this flat to anyone who visits Filey.

We had a lovely weekend at Lee’s place. It was clean and comfortable. There is plenty to do around the area and a short walk to the beach.

Fantastic accommodation and great facilities. The whole family loved the pool, hot tub and the pizza shack! Beds really comfy. Definitely recommend!

This was our first stay at Rodgers Retreat, it was in a quiet spot of The Bay which was a bonus. It's very well equipped, clean & tidy and the perfect place for a break. Lots of beach walks with our dogs, who thoroughly enjoyed it, we had great weather too which is a bonus 😊 We would definitely recommend & use again as Filey is our favourite place ❤️

I recently stayed at this beautiful chalet with my family, which I booked through Airbnb. It was my son's birthday, and he was overjoyed with our stay. The location was perfect, just about 3-4 minutes walk from the beach. Chalet has its own stunning views of this huge field in making with birds chirping sound for to enjoy sunsets and sunrises. The place was cozy and comfortable, with everything we needed for a memorable family getaway. The interior was tastefully decorated, and the bed was super comfortable. The fully equipped kitchen allowed us to cook our meals, which we enjoyed on the deck. Our host Irene was incredibly welcoming and thoughtful. Learned friendly greetings in Urdu to say during our communications through emails and phone, WOW. Communication was prompt and easy, and we appreciated the helpful tips and local recommendations provided. Overall, we had an amazing experience at this chalet, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful gateway.

Beautiful cottage with high end fixtures and fittings very uniquely and tastefully decorated. Excellent and helpful communication and a friendly welcome and farewell.

Good location that wasn’t too far to visit nearby places, 5 min drive to Filey, 10 mins to brid and 25 mins to Scarborough . Village itself nice and quiet everything you need close by, coop 2 mins walk , pub, post office, chip shop and Chinese . Nice little courtyard at back that’s very private that was safe for the dog and our granddaughter of 18 months . Lovely touch with our gifts including our four legged friend . Handy to have the down stairs toilet and shower especially as we took my mum and dad who are in their 70’s. I was a little nervous about the parking before we went but we always managed to park in the area behind the fish shop which is a lot nicer area than imagined, when it said behind fish shop you imagine a small carpark but it was a lovely open space with cottages , church .

Wonderful accommodation and host. We have close family who live close by and so it was a great find and so handy. Even though off the main street it was quiet at night. We would recommend for sure.

We had a lovely relaxing time. The hot tub is such a great way to unwind, the accommodation spotlessly clean and the nearby town of Howden has some great places to eat (Kitchen is an amazing restaurant/cafe/bakery). The weather was terrible but that’s no one’s fault!

This was a wonderful stay with Mary and her partner who both made me feel welcome and at home. Both the peaceful aesthetic of the 'hut' combined with occasional appearance of some very well behaved and good natured animal companions made this stay unforgettable. I highly recommend the 'hut' to anyone looking for a pleasant experience in this quaint seaside getaway.
