Beautiful cottage located in a small village. Quiet and cosy but close to bigger places. Cottage was comfortable and very cute. Jontti was very responsive by text to any queries. Loved it!!

I last minute checked in early just to leave my stuff in the room so I can travel around without bringing the heavy bag but Sandra still make sure my room was neat, tidy and comfortable once I went back…. She prepared breakfast for me too! A sweet lady, will definitely come back!

Kittys Airbnb stay was absolutely lovely. The views, area itself and how clean and tidy it all was, it had everything you needed. Will definitely be staying here again when visiting family. Did not want to leave!

A wonderful little find, the house is much larger than we thought, very clean. Perfect spot in The Lakes for walks straight from the front door Lewis was friendly and kind and we were grateful for our provisions! Will definitely be returning!

Exceptional! The accommodation was spacious, quirky in a good way, surprisingly well equipped, and no expense spared. Our host Ivan was extremely helpful and a pleasure to talk to. We plan to return!

Had a very comfortable stay in this beautifully renovated barn, with beams still remaining. Great location able to mooch around Cockermouth and easy to get out into the beauty of the lakes. Free parking and inclusive breakfast were great extras,also thoroughly enjoyed a cocktail in the bar downstairs .

Nice location. Was great for my stay in the area to visit family nearby. Visited the local Stag Inn which served good food and beer.

Beautiful cottage in great location in the centre of town and handy for the Lakes. Spotlessly clean and tastefully furnished with lots of lovely touches like a beautiful bunch of flowers and goodies on arrival. Highly recommended.

What a lovely find for a last minute get away. Very easy to book and communication was excellent. We were greeted by Martin, who offered to help with our luggage, quirky followed by Howard. Both hosts were friendly, chatty and welcoming and were available if we needed anything during our stay. Howie provided us with a parking permit, a bargain at £5 and Martin showed us to our suite to make sure we were happy. Recommendations for places to visit were also given The suite was spotless and had everything we needed for our short stay. Bed was super comfy, fluffy towels and it was great to have a living area to relax when we returned later in the evening. On leaving the following morning, Martin came to say bye and again offered to carry our luggage. We had a lovely time, great hosts and will definitely return and recommend to family and friends. Thanks Martin and Howie.

Beautiful warm clean accommodation . The bed was the most comfortable I’ve slept in. Bathroom was large, very clean and hot water. Julie left us a wide choice of breakfast including vegan, lovely. Very private and quiet, parking. Attention to detail was great “sheep” .

A lovely traditional B & B with a clean and tidy room. An excellent and attentive host. A fantastic breakfast. An easy walk to town. What’s not to like? Highly recommended.

We had a great stay at Springfield Lodge. Fiona is a great host, made us very welcome and provided everything we needed. The cooked breakfast was fabulous!

Robin was an amazing host! He gave us some great recommendations for local walks and restaurants, and cooked delicious breakfasts in the morning :D 100% would stay here again in his cosy and delightfully rustic B&B!

This wasn’t just an Air BnB, it was a soul nourishing experience. Brenda is an amazing host! The location is absolutely beautiful, with the lake on your doorstep and accessible walking routes which offer the most gorgeous views. Brenda was warm, welcoming and so friendly. I loved her insights and we had the most engaging conversations. Enjoying a luxurious candlelit bath and dinner by an open log fire was a treat. Would most definitely be visiting this beautiful home and Brenda again ♥️ Thank you

Really lovely place, right in the heart of the peaks, Jill and Steve are clearly really passionate about the local area and gave us lots of tips. Very genuine and active hosts. The cooked breakfast was perfect the day after a long day doing the 3 peaks challenge! Can also highly recommend pie at the Station Inn just up the road! Leah :)

Jayne and Karl are the most wonderful, welcoming and friendly hosts I’ve met. From the moment we arrived soaking wet from walking all day along the Hadrian’s Wall Path in the rain Jayne gave us a friendly welcome and offered to dry our wet boots. The rooms were warm, the beds VERY comfortable and the views outstanding and the peace was wonderful too. The home cooked food was tasty and cooked with great care and we opted for a packed lunch to take with us too. If you’re walking the Hadrian’s Wall Path find a way to stay here!
