Home away from home on CMU Campus. Great space for a family Thanksgiving

We would stay here again. Perfect little couples get away. Loved having the jacuzzi. It didn’t bother us but just so other people know, you are in a basement and will be able to hear the people upstairs walking around. Again, it wasn’t bothersome but it was there.

Oh my goodness! Rick is so thoughtful! And super communicative! He provided incredibly detailed information about how to access the house and the parking. Additionally, he had so many thoughtful details in the house in the way of snacks and beautiful flowers. And while we didn’t take advantage of the extensive list of restaurants because of being in town for the holidays, it was really nice how much information he provided. It was a great location especially to our family in Squirrel Hill.

Rick was so incredible. He had the sweetest welcome, clear instructions, and just above and beyond. I can’t recommend this space enough! Cute off the main path place but a walkable distance to very cute bars and restaurants which made it perfect balance for my family. This place is immaculate! When I come back to Pittsburgh this is going to be my place!!

We had a great stay at Laura’s place. The bungalo was adorable & comfortable. It had everything we needed. We felt right at home. It was very clean. Location was great! Couldn’t beat being down the block from Oakmont Bakery. There is a park right across that our Grandson had fun at. Quiet neighborhood. Laura was a great host. Highly recommend.

Russell’s home was the perfect spot for us, especially with an animal. Great location, I really liked the architecture, and felt at home. Would definitely stay there in the future.

My husband loved stating at this place. It was perfect for us to travel from Kentucky to Pittsburgh to attend a Steelers game. We would 100% stay there again. This private room with private bathroom is on the first floor of a three story historic home. Elizabeth, who is the nicest person ever, lives with her husband on the upper two floors. The adorable space was super clean and I felt very at home. The mattress was extremely comfortable and the water was hot in the shower. Bring your own cooler and ice, and you are set. 10 out of 10. Thank you Elizabeth!

Highly recommend Elena's place if you're looking for a safe, quiet, and spacious location in Pittsburgh! The home definitely has character, and it suited my needs perfectly. I would stay here again, and I would stay here longer if I'm ever back in the area.

Had another excellent stay. This is the second time we've stayed here and it was just as good as the first time. Will definitely keep in mind for any future trips to Pittsburgh.

Jaclyn’s place was perfect for what I needed! A place for myself and my cat to stay over the holidays, so I could have space away from family I was visiting. The instructions to get in were very helpful, place very clean, always was warm during a very cold spell, and was quiet and private. The location felt safe and was very convenient getting around parts of the city with a car. Would book again!

The house was nice, spacious and clean. The bedrooms were comfortable, the neighborhood was safe and fun! Lots to do around the area and just a few minutes from downtown. Would recommend for anyone who wants the Pittsburgh experience without having to be in the middle of downtown!

Christopher’s home in Lawrenceville was thoughtfully designed/furnished, and in such an ideal location. It’s only 20-ish minutes to the airport, super close to the Strip District, and right near the main drag of attractions on Butler Street in Lawrenceville. I was a little concerned about street parking, but it honestly never took more than 5-10 minutes at most to find a nearby spot, usually found one right away. Christopher was also very responsive, and was even kind enough to allow me a bit of a later checkout, which was much appreciated. This was a fantastic and comfortable visit - would be thrilled to book again next time I’m in Pittsburgh. Thank you, again, Christopher!

My daughter had to be in the Pittsburgh area for two weeks due to a school requirement. Michael met her there at check in, and made sure she had everything she needed. And, he graciously gave her a late check out since her flight didn’t leave until later in the evening. Everything went smoothly, and this mom was happy she was safe, and grateful for Michael and Michelle’s help.

Gail was friendly & responsive and available to answer my questions. I came into town for a Steelers game and Gail’s place is about a 20 minute walk to the stadium. I’m glad I walked because I got to see all the tailgating along the way! There’s a great coffeeshop two minutes away; and my Ubers came quickly. There’s also an Aviary nearby that I wish I had more time to visit. Gail’s neighborhood is safe and the people in Pittsburgh are super friendly! 💛

It’s like “coming home” when we are in Bellevue and stay at Amy’s place. It’s our favorite for several years now. Besides the comfortable and beautiful accommodations, it’s always nice dealing with Amy. Thankful for another fun Pittsburgh visit.

This was our third stay at Martha’s Airbnb. Please see our previous reviews for why we give it a five star rating. It will continue to be our destination of choice when we return to Pittsburgh to visit our son’s family living in the Regent Square area.

Deborah’s place was exactly as described, spotless, warm, cozy, and stocked with absolutely anything you could need. We were even surprised with a home baked loaf of banana bread! Deborah was so flexible and understanding when we needed to reschedule two times before finally making it there. We’ll absolutely contact her again when we’re back in the area.

What can say? Christy is the most amazing host and her home is a historic gem with walls that hug you and land that lets you breathe. I was in town to help care for my mom and dad and the beauty of this special and serene space was life affirming. Description is accurate. Christy is an incredible communicator. Neighborhood is safe. I traveled alone and wasn’t concerned. Home was easy to find and door access instructions clear and easy to follow. Home well stocked in kitchen and bath. Very clean. North Ridge Farm has all the feels and vibes of a home that has sheltered its people for 200 years. 🏡❤️ Highly recommend and would stay here again in a heart beat! The carriage house hosted by Amanda is absolutely beautiful and cozy. It is thoughtfully appointed with comfort and hospitality in mind. The neighborhood is quiet and elegant and because of the holiday season, the houses were alight with Christmas lights lending such a warm feeling. We were able to spontaneously meet Amanda in the driveway and so enjoyed putting a face with her lovely places. For my husband and myself, the space was perfect. We will gladly stay here again.
