We purchased the property in 2010 and Built this cottage for our family. After our children moved out we sold our home and moved here as our full-time residence. We loved lake living so decided to build our new home on the same property, using our cottage as a guest home. We did not use it as much as expected so we decided to Rent it for additional retirement income. The building has 1536 sq ft, including the 3-season porch. 2, 12'x15' bedrooms with 7 beds, plus a sofa bed in the living area.

This location is absolutely stunning - quietly situated in the woods, yet you can hear the waves on the lake. We loved seeing the deer out our windows in the morning. The sky was incredible at night; without all the light pollution, we could even see the Milky Way! The house itself is pristine - no expense spared, our stay felt quite luxurious. The decor and overall feel of the home is modern, bright, and airy. Overall a fantastic stay, and I hope to come back again soon!

Beautiful house in a very scenic and cozy area. Close access to the nearby town but also was a great nature retreat. The house was very clean and the perfect hangout house for 10-15 people. Kayaking in the river was also a unique experience that we very much enjoyed. Would absolutely recommend this house to anyone looking for a relaxing and fun retreat with many things to do!!!

If you’re truly looking for a peaceful, calming, relaxing, and out-of-the-way place… This is for you! We felt right at home the minute we walked in. The house was clean and had everything we needed with two bedrooms a clean bathroom, living room and a kitchen. The outside space was the best! We had a fire every night, coffee out by the lake every morning and dinner on the porch as well. This place was by far one of the better Airbnb my husband and I have stayed at. Chris was very responsive and communicative before, during and after the stay!

I had an absolutely fantastic stay at this Airbnb! The location was perfect, it was private but had lots to offer. The host was incredibly welcoming and responsive, making sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The place itself was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had all the comforts of home. I would highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking for a wonderful stay in the area. Beautiful home, even more beautiful view. Barbara was very helpful and her place is organized so well. There was everything we needed and more. Easy to get around and a couple of great restaurants nearby. This location is also close to hiking and mountain biking trails! Would totally stay again.

We had a great stay! The location of the cabin is amazing and has a very unique layout to it. You really feel immersed in nature with the floor to ceiling windows all throughout the house. It snowed during our stay which made everything feel even more beautiful and peaceful. Especially, in the evenings with the fire place going. Our host, Lisa, did a great job at communicating everything we needed to know. It’s obvious that they take great care and pride in their home. Would definitely stay here again!

We truly enjoyed our stay at Dan’s beautiful home. He was responsive, friendly and his home was absolutely perfection for a little ski weekend in Michigan. A lovely 18 min drive to bittersweet resort and 25 to timber ridge. Very clean, comfortable, well stocked home with extra goodies like amble towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, soap, paper towels. A beautiful winter wonderland off lake allegan. The home was great with the game table, toys and play kitchen under the stairs. The beds are extremely comfortable and plenty of blankets and linens! I highly recommend staying here! Thank you Dan for a great stay!!

We came in for a wedding and stayed here with three couples. The house was a perfect spot for us being close to both the venue and very easy to get downtown. The house itself feels very new and has plenty of room for all. The first floor is also a great area to hang out. We didn’t take advantage of the amenities in the neighborhood like the pool but they are easily walkable and available. Matt is also very proactive and responsive. We had a couple questions when we first arrived and had feedback and what we needed very quickly after. If we come back to South Haven we will definitely be looking to see if this is available!
