Cottage vacation rentals in Algonquin

We spent 4 nights to do some ice fishing. We had 9 people in total and had more than enough room. Everything was spotless and as described in the listing. As a bonus, we had a very successful fishing trip! The property looks like it would be fabulous in the summer as well.

We really enjoyed our stay at Pravenas cottage, it was beautiful despite the ice rain! The place was absolutely perfect for our family and friends, really spacious and comfortable. We would book it again.

It was a really good experience. the kitchen has everything you need, even more !!! the place is very quiet and peaceful. i greatly recommend if you want a nice and beautiful weekend. Moreover, everything is comfortable.

It was peaceful and awesome place. Our family had such a great time there. I wish we can stay more night there next time.

The place was great for our friends gathering needs. The kitchen was full and practical. The huge carpeted main area was great for our toddlers to run around. They even have high chairs and a pack n’ play. The whole place feels very homy.

This was the most memorable stay. The hot tub and sauna were a great plus! It is impeccably clean and super cozy. I love the privacy and the layout is fantastic. There is a squirrel that hangs around and peanuts are provided to feed him by hand! So cute. This is an amazing couples getaway. I would HIGHLY recommend!

Had a great stay for a few cozy nights. Loved the fireplace and we enjoyed seeing quite a few deer across the river on multiple occasions. Kids enjoyed the books, games, and drawing set. Thanks Catherine!

We stayed 4 nights at Bryan's cottage and had a wonderful time. Very beautiful view of the lake. Although it was still a bit chilly in April, we were very cozy and warm at the cottage. It was very clean, well stocked, and had everything you could possibly need for your stay. The cottage even had some board games. Bryan was very responsive and was a great host overall. 5/5. Would highly recommend!

This cottage was the right fit for my family, nice resting place for us to sleep and enjoy our fishing trip. Although the bathroom was on the smaller side, we found everything very nice and clean, and the owner responded immediately to a small issue and fixed the problem right away. All together, very satisfied!!

Thank you so much for the perfect getaway stay! Everything was as described and more. Perfect sleeps were had, kitchen was well equipped for all the late night creations, comfy reading spots throughout the home. Comfort levels were absolutely met! We enjoyed it immensely and can't wait to stay again soon.

Elsie has an amazing little cottage nestled with great river views and direct access to the waters. The place was very clean and well maintained. The kitchen was well stocked with all essentials. My only feedback would be to extend the checkout time to 11 am and to have some lights installed near the fire pit.

This cabin was perfect staycation to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday. We used the hot tub the first night and it was relaxing and very private. The space was perfect for the two of us. with a small kitchen and living area as well as a very nice bathroom and bedroom. We also recommend trying the Nest restaurant we had the best food there and still talk about it. The host was extremely responsive and left firewood out for us to use the fire pit. We would recommend this place for anyone looking to escape to a quiet location that is private and peaceful.

Beautiful spot for a quiet family getaway with our geriatric mastiff. They had everything we needed for wet March weather with a 145lb dog. We look forward to going back in the summer as it looks perfect for lakeside fun as well!

We booked under the general listing (Having not realized that there were more specific ones) so Dan was kind enough to choose a cottage based on what he believed would be appropriate for the temperatures and time of year. And when we met down in the driveway upon arrival, he was immediately very friendly and we had a great conversation, and he directed us up to our cabin which was an excellent choice, beautiful view of the lake, nice amount of shade, beautiful inside (looked like it had recently had some updates as well), very clean, and very well-appointed - full amenities, very comfortable space…more like a home than a cottage. Had a lovely conversation with Pam while we were checking out. We greatly enjoyed our experience and hope to return next year!

Was very comfortable to stay at Thomas's cottage. We stayed with 4 adults and 4 kids in the winter. The sauna was especially nice. The kitchen was well stocked. Everything worked well and communication was great.

Enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property, has everything you need. We stayed the week of valentines and couldn’t have asked for more. I could only imagine how perfect it would be in the summer with the water sports and many other amenities this property offers. Erika and Adam were kind and responsive and helped us with all our needs!! Definitely would go again.

Our stay at the chalet was amazing! The space was not only stunning but also super well-organized and clean. It had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing trip. The host was extremely helpful and made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. We’d love to come back!

We were 8 guys (with possible of more) coming to see a sick friend who is unfortunately nearing the end of life. The place was beautiful and the location was perfect. The weekend was quite cold but the place was welcoming enough that we mostly stayed inside and caught up with old friends. Alan & Rosalie’s cottage was everything we could have asked for and more ! It was a perfect place to just relax and recharge after a busy fall and Christmas season. We wanted for nothing, it had everything we needed. Alan met us when we arrived and explained where everything was and how it all worked. My wife and I and our two dogs had a wonderful experience. My friends and I stayed at Hong's place October 2024. We've stayed there before and had a great time, and this time was no different. Even before checking in Hong made sure all questions were answered and gave us a guide to the place and the area. The check in experience was seamless and accommodating, and the cottage was cleaned very well. The cottage itself is so warm and cozy, and the surrounding area is beautiful. We would definitely stay here again!
