Cabin vacation rentals in Alder Lake

If you have the chance to stay here, don’t pass it up! This is the most thoughtfully outfitted cabin, including everything you might need to cook full meals, stay cozy on cold evenings, and stay dry on wet days. My husband was more than impressed with all the fishing items provided, but he was also excited about the dock down the block you could buy wristbands to fish from. From the back yard and indoors we saw an amazing assortment of birds, squirrels, otters, and even a bald eagle! The cabin served as a great base camp while we met up with family, explored Olympia, Seattle, and a couple state parks. (Definitely go to Millersylvania SP!). We didn’t get to check out the Wolf Reserve down the street, but we hope to do so next time.

Lovely place on the lake near Eatonville, WA. Seriously amazingly decorated with relaxing and entertaining spaces. I wish I had their design style. Perfect spot for a seriously relaxing weekend away. Great communication by hosts.

The views and the vibe of the home made it a joy to escape to. (It also helped that the weather cooperated, and it was sunny most of the time.) The photos in the listing don't do the space justice. The kitchen is clearly that of a chef's, equipped with everything you could need. The bedrooms & living area are nice and cozy. I would note that some of the appliances, like the coffee grinder, coffee maker, and refrigerator, could use a deep clean. That said, it's clearly a family home, which adds to its charm. It would be nice if there were a guest manual with details about the home and the surroundings—I always find that to be a welcoming touch. While the beach is nearby—a short 3-minute walk—our family didn't spend much time there because the rocks were very slippery. So, be careful! Additionally, the neighborhood and nearby towns weren’t particularly exciting for us, so we stayed in and enjoyed relaxing and soaking in the views at this cozy gem. Overall, it's a great home!

Beautiful setting and so many great amenities. My husband and I stayed for 3 nights with our 2 kids and 2 of their friends. Plenty of space for all of us, plus the detached garage game room gave us more room to spread out and have fun. The kids loved it here and the hot tub over looking the lake was a huge hit with everyone. A couple of us even did a quick kayak paddle when it wasn’t raining and saw herons, and a couple bald eagles. My favorite part was having coffee on the deck overlooking the lake and reading a book in the morning stillness. So relaxing. Matt was a responsive host and all check in/check out instructions were very clear.

Prairie and Zach were great hosts. Their little cabin is just ideal sitting on a river. I think technically a creek but the sound of it all night was just the perfect white noise. It was very calming and peaceful. Their sauna is incredible. It is the coolest design and sits right there on the river. We loved it and used it each night. I highly recommend!

We love Billie’s place! The lake view is so peaceful with gorgeous sunsets and we enjoy being able to kayak and fish off the dock. The cabin is well-stocked with 2 comfortable bedrooms downstairs and several beds in the loft. It is a beautiful place to relax with family or friends! Our kids had a blast guessing then counting the numerous bear decorations throughout the cabin - was like an Easter egg hunt with bears! Billie is a perfect host - friendly, proactive, caring, knowledgeable about the area and extremely responsive. We will definitely return!

We felt so at home. The view of Mount Rainer is beautiful. My family had so much fun playing foosball and the arcade game. The beds were super comfortable. They even have Netflix and Disney Plus logged in for guests so we were able to watch movies. We played the board games provided, as a family, which was amazing!!! They have a Traeger grill for use and I grilled hotdogs and brats on it, which I had never done but they left clear instructions to follow. I highly recommend!!!

Absolutely loved it here was so nice and cozy we had an amazing time it’s so beautiful out there and inside feels like you’re in a cabin from a movie so pretty!! Had a blast definitely want to do it again

The space was exactly as described, it was peaceful, easy to check in, and clean. The manual clearly laid out all details of the space and local surroundings. Everything we needed was available. It was a great location I would absolutely return!

Very cozy for a relaxing stay. Loved the games and wifi available. All of the hummingbirds outside were a pleasant surprise during morning coffee.

Gorgeous views on the River. Very comfortable stay. Could use new towels soon.

Absolutely perfect basecamp for Mt Rainier.

Aaron was a fantastic host. I would go back in a heartbeat. the property was beautiful. inside was so cozy. Aaron recommended a super cool hike close by. communication was awesome and easy!

What a fantastic cabin for some Mt. Rainier adventures. Cozy and warm and i just love the astatic that the owners choose. Private, quiet and romantic for sure. Hot tub was clean and perfect, private and under the cover of massive trees. Used the tub on cold and rainy night, tress kept much if the cold rain away. Bed was very nice with great linens and blankets. Local deer wanted to befriend me both mornings. Host provided all needed info and some about the local area. A beautiful and cozy cabin to stay at for some privacy and rest after exploring Mt. Rainier. If available in the future, i will definitely return when visiting south Mt. Rainier. 5 stars.

Great little cabin!! Garth and Marybeth were super sweet. Great accommodations with crystal clear instructions, loved the hot tub and bed heater!

Beautiful location. Perfect place to escape the new years fireworks with the dogs.

My girlfriend and I had a great time! We were bummed that White Pass experienced warm and rainy weather otherwise we would have skied. I never had high expectations that the cabin would be in the middle of nowhere and pure quiet but thats the feedback I kept reading. The cabin is of course relatively quiet but there is a main road 30 feet from the cabin that was heavily trafficked. I would hear a car pass by about every 15 minutes. So the cabin is not as quiet as everyone makes it seem.. Again, I didn’t really mind it, Its just more accurate feedback. Barbecue was awesome, the wood stove and premade fire was awesome, the dog treats were awesome, snacks left for us were awesome, the bathroom was awesome! Overall great stay, I would definitely book again if we can time up a good snowfall at white pass. One last thing, the queen bed was harder than my dorm mattress in college.

Luke and Sarah will have such a lovely and remarkable memory for my partner and I to cherish. It was the perfect little cabin to say our private vows in. Beautiful location and so close to the entrance of Mount Rainier! So much charm and cork to this adorable little place. Would definitely stay again

Sadie’s house had all we needed, including a useful kitchen and a wood stove. We were cozy and warm and close to town and the mountain, with no traffic noise. She even had a decorated holiday tree in the living room. Sadie was very helpful when we needed something. As with all pet-friendly rentals, I suggest that if you have an animal allergy to contact the host before your stay.

Amazingly cute Cabin with a very beautiful view and with very little people around. The house was unbelievably clean and cozy, perfect for my girlfriend and I’s get away anniversary. And with a restaurant that’s only five minutes away with absolutely delicious food. We would live there if we could to be honest. 10/10 from us.
