Vacation rentals in Alcafozes

Unfortunately, we only stayed at Ana Maria's place for one night as we were visiting the Douro. The accommodation is impeccable, clean and the decoration is splendid. If you want to visit the areas of the center, ideal locations. The villages are very old, few amenities on foot. But it's peaceful, warm and the villagers are so friendly. A big OMG and a huge OBRIGADA to Ana Maria, a perfect host 🫶❤️

Everything went beautifully. Guida is a super attentive, responsive, friendly and dedicated host. Always available to help with whatever. We really enjoyed our stay, the house and the surrounding area are 5 stars. We felt at home. We hope to come back one day.

Thank you Liesbet and João, for the beautiful place to get away and relax surrounded by animals and nature. No city lights so a great place for seeing the stars at night. Liesbet is a very gracious and helpful hostess, great communication. Enjoyed a fantastic horseback ride around the area lead by Joao, a magical ride! Far enough away for a few days or weeks of relaxation surrounded by nature, but it also allows you to do some sightseeing. In an hour drive you can be in Coímbra or Aveiro. Also, nearby you have all kinds of services like restaurants or supermarkets.

Great place. The description and pictures are accurate, very easy to find and arrive. The atmosphere is really quiet and nice and the view is pretty. Great place to explore the surronding nature and villages.

We stayed at Casa de Morrota for almost two months and loved it. This charming Portuguese house is full of history. The garden exceeded our expectations—it's spacious and has a lovely Portuguese vibe, perfect for relaxing evenings while we cooked dinner. The game room also served as a great office space for remote work while traveling with kids. The internet connection was always good. Raquel was very friendly and always responded quickly!

Rita is a good-hearted person. We felt at home. The place was great. Rita gave us fruit from her garden and was always there for us. I recommend a holiday in Rita's Air BnB 200% :-) happy to come back!

What an amazing chalet!! Everything was perfect. The place is amazing with a stunning view. Perfect place for a group. Truly recommend it!

The owners were very personable and warm. Were always available and responded immediately if you had a question. There was a covered parking space, this one who was very large and offered plenty of space to park. In the night sky you can see the stars wonderfully. It is so nice and quiet there. Everything worked out for us and was wonderful. The owners also sell olive oil. This was the best olive oil we have ever tried. Thanks again for everything.
