Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Alcabideche

This is the house if you want to stay in the country. We were 3 generations that fit in. Nice with your own house for the young people. Large area around & pool. The host was extremely quick and accommodating to answer questions and gave such good recommendations at different restaurants and activities that we requested. Is a dog kennel nearby where there is usually a connection with them getting food. Quiet in between. Good to have a car here.

We had a really enjoyable stay. The place was great, really clean and comfortable with lots of thoughtful touches. Host was great too, really helpful with recommendations and helping us out when needed.

Anabela was a lovely host! The house was exactly as described, super close to Lisbon for day trips! She had lots of suggestions for places to check out close to her home. Her home is equipped with everything, down to dish soap and toilet paper!! We will for sure stay again. Thanks Anabela!

We had a great stay here, it was perfect for our family vacation. The house is beautiful and very well taken care of, with spacious bedrooms, a large family room and well-equipped kitchen. The garden and pool were also lovely - private and quiet and a great place to hang out. The beach and train station were both a short walk, and Estoril is well-situated for trips to Lisbon and Cascais or to explore towns along the coast. Catarina was a fantastic host and Dona Gilda helped with anything we needed during the stay.

Cris was very friendly and provided a lot of useful information on how to get home as well as local suggestions. Very pleased with our stay.

Impeccable exterior for this kind of rental, sun, swimming pool, terrace, fireplace-barbecue, house "like at home" with everything you need to live there, well equipped with household electronics, quiet despite the "Portuguese" dogs who often bark at night but almost not in our case, quiet in the neighborhood, the market 100m from the house and supermarkets that are not very far either, my favorite beach (Princesa) 5 minutes by car.

We went a few days with the family at the end of the year and it was excellent. The house is very large and comfortable for a family. Communication with the host was smooth all the time. I hope we can repeat in the summer to take advantage of the pool. Thank you.

This was our first visit in the country however, with the exceptional hospitality and amazing service from Sofia, my family felt right at home. Sofia above and beyond to help me with finding a Dr for my husband and something else that I needed for my husband. She kept in touch with us even before we arrived. Our arrival date changed and yet, she accommodated us with no problem. My husband was very impressed with her help and how well the property was kept. We certainly will visit again. We loved our space. I was traveling with my sister, parents, husband and toddler. It was nice spending time in the backyard- unable to use the pool due to cold temperatures outside and the pool is not heated (but we figured that may be the case). We dreamt about how refreshing it would be in the summer. So close to an amazing strip of restaurants and bars on a street we believe was called the lx factory. Also close to a beautiful open park space with a playground that we enjoyed a bottle of wine at and very close to a grocery store if supplies are needed. Lisbon is an awesome city and we were lucky to be in this Airbnb during our stay.

We had a great few days here! Elio was an amazing host, attentive and quick to provide great recommendations and suggestions. The cottage itself is one of several on the property but it's super private and the terrace and plunge pool are idyllic with the surrounding views. The location is great - close to Ericeira and the beaches that line the coast north of Lisbon and near to Sintra and Cascais, two nearby towns worth visiting. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the cottage to any friends or family looking for a restful stay in a beautiful part of Portugal.

A friendly reception and a quirky house with lots of character. A great place to relax away from the hustle and bustle of Sintra, but perfect if you have a car and like to self cater.

A very good and quiet stay, a safe and quiet area. The apartment is clean and very good , we had everything nearby , cafes , supermarkets . The truth is an enjoyable stay. It was lovely to meet Judite when she warmly welcomed me at the Airbnb. She and Sara had kindly left fruit, croissants, milk and an array of teas and coffees in the kitchenette which was well equipped and spotless as was the shower room. There was always lots of hot water. The bed was very comfortable and the area was very quiet at night for a good night’s sleep. I enjoyed breakfast on the terrace and sometimes at the table in the room. It was very near the supermarket and a cafe and a short walk to the beach. The train station was also within walking distance. I had a wonderful time and would definitely stay there again.

For me it was a great stay, the great place, clean, quiet and beautiful, close by transport, great location. You definitely have my recommendation.
