Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Alamosa County

Great stay. We spent Thanksgiving here and had an awesome little feast in the yurt thanks to Patrick. We brought everything but aluminum foil—he saved the day by bringing some up immediately! It was an amazing experience and we actually got engaged the next morning at Zapata Falls!! We just feel bad our giant furry cry-baby wouldn’t stop whining whenever she heard the faintest noise outside, which was often because it’s the woods. Hopefully it wasn’t audible, she was surprisingly freaked out by nature (her first time outside the city). Just note that the closest stores are not all that close given the surroundings (worth it for the lack of light pollution, it’s seriously unreal) so double check your packing list.

Amazing place to stay by the great sand dunes national park and preserve! Remote location and stunning views of the park. The sky was SO beautiful at night too given how remote and no light pollution. The Airbnb was well stocked and had everything for our short stay. Super clean and cozy. Would recommend to anyone looking to explore the park or this area. Very remote and private location but easy to get to town and not even 15 minutes to the park! Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Had a great stay - the house was such a good home base as we explored the area (sand dunes, hot springs, waterfalls, alligator farms, & more).

It was a very cozy and very welcoming place. The stars were amazing to look. The sunrise was beautiful to look at. Would definitely book again!

This is our second time staying at Sarah's Farm B&B. Once again, we had a peaceful and enjoyable time. The views were beautiful and the the guys loved the addition of the disc golf course. In the evening, we enjoyed a game of chess. Sarah was very responsive and quickly answered any questions we had. This has become one of our favorite places to stay at.

The house was perfect for our family’s visit to Alamosa for a wedding. The house was clean, comfortable and fully stocked with toiletries, cooking supplies, pots and pans, laundry detergent and the like. The house was lovely and I would highly recommend it.

I was in Alamosa for work. This was a very peaceful, safe location. The amenities were just as described. The personal touches were very nice, available cooking supplies, spices, filtered water container in the refrigerator, I could go on... Communication was excellent. Walking distance to plenty of local restaurants. Highly recommend this location and host!
