Vacation rentals with a pool in Alamitos Bay

Paul was fantastic. Our original Airbnb cancelled minutes before check in. Paul saved the day. His house was far superior in every way to what we would have had. He not only saved the day but gave us a fantastic experience. Would absolutely recommend!!!!

We had a wonderful time staying at Shayla‘s place! This truly was a respite for us after our days at Disney. It was only 15 to 20 minutes away from the parks! The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked, and the pool was beautiful to look at. The weather was a bit chilly so we didn’t spend a lot of time in the backyard. Overall, the home was perfect for us. The only thing I would like to mention for future guests is to bring flat sheets if you like those on your beds. We just had a Walmart grocery delivery order delivered (right to the front porch) and purchased them for our stay.

Our stay at the was nothing short than amazing. The home is beautifully decorated & spacious. The beds are super comfortable & although we only ordered take out, the kitchen is stocked with all the essentials. The location is centrally located and walking distance to cafe’s. I cannot wait to go back!

This is our third year renting this home for our annual trip with friends. The location and home are perfect and we love everything about it! It's a short walk to the beach, shopping, and restaurants. It's clean, has an open floorplan, and a great yard, too!

This home was comfortable and we enjoyed the peaceful residential neighborhood. The den/game room was a nice bonus area. The amenities were all as advertised (remember to BYO shampoo/conditioner) and the kitchen had all the cooking basics. Kyle and Maribel were responsive hosts and provided very clear info. If you’re looking for a quiet, comfy home, this is it - it was perfect for our family visit.

Can talk all day. Tarik was very responsive, replying to text and questions almost immediately. I definitely will be booking with him on my next LA trip. House is nicely centered in the Los Angeles area. Neighborhood was quiet. Great experience

We were glad we chose Calvin's place for our 3 night stay which included a day at Disneyland. we had 8 people, 4 of whom were kids 8 and under, so we wanted clean, spacious, with clear view of the heated pool from the kitchen and family room -- the well lit backyard and hottub were a pleasant bonus. To any moms and dads reading this while planning a trip to Anaheim/ Disneyland etc, do yourself a favour and book Calvin's place. You wont regret it.

David’s place was our first AirBnB experience in 2024. After staying the week during summer, we did not hesitate to start planning our second stay in 2025. Now upon leaving from spring break at David’s, we can’t imagine booking anywhere else for our annual SoCal vacations as the bar has been set high. David is an outstanding host and the home has been perfect for my family with each stay — all the amenities, the cleanliness, great location, and the comfort the home has. It’s clear a lot of thought and work was put to make sure the home had everything guests need and beyond. We wouldn’t change or add anything, and have recommended David’s to family and friends. We will continue to book as long as he lets us ;D

Brandon's place was very nice. The apartment itself exceeded expectations. Immaculate and well stocked kitchen made cooking very easy. The bed is firm -- about an 8 out of 10. I personally love a firm bed and found it to be very comfortable. Another thing to note is that the area is very noisy and dangerous with mentally ill drug addicts everywhere. I was followed by two sketchy individuals on Friday morning at 7 a.m. into the CVS as they attempted to box me in and trap me in an aisle. Luckily I have street smarts and am very aware of my surroundings and was able to escape, others might not have been so lucky. Note I am a 6 foot tall muscular male, usually not someone's first target. Also note, CA has effectively criminalized self-defense much like NY has, so fleeing is your only option. None of this is Brandon's fault, of course. Just pointing it out for those not aware of the area. Overall a great stay if one stays inside the bldg and runs out to jump into an Uber.

Place was clean, tidy and appreciated the doorman for security in downtown LA. Comfy bed and spacious apt. Some sounds audible from upstairs unit, but not bad. Noise abatement windows helpful, though random sounds on 1-2 nights are part of downtown living. Parking was a bit of a challenge as original instructions sent were not correct, and only exit was possible from where it said to enter in building lot across the street. Didn't realize this til 930 pm, and messaged Ali and asked for a call to clarify, and he did respond right away, which was appreciated. It was about $10 to uber/lyft to convention center, or a 20 min walk, about 1 mile, which was convenient. Kitchen well appointed. Great choice close to convention center given the free, secure parking. We did encounter security making rounds in lot across the street and car was fine.

Shant's condo was exactly as advertised and he was an excellent host. There was one small glitch when the parking pass did not work, but this was not as big a problem as it would have been if we were using it frequently. We love to walk, so the location was just fine. Also recommended is getting s Metro Pass which allows you to ride all busses and trains, and these are myriad in the area.

This apartment was immaculate. Everything looked exactly like the pictures, and the covered off-street parking made getting in and out a breeze. We felt safe and secluded the entire time we were at the apartment. The location is close to Pasadena and Santa Anita, but is a bit of a haul from many of the tourist destinations in West LA. That said, the easy access to I-10 makes getting around easy, and if you are looking to stay in Northeast LA you could not ask for a better location. Cheng-Yin is a real pro. She was exceptionally communicative and made a better host than many 5-star hotel concierges. The house rules were provided well in advance in easy-to-read instructions. She had produced a booklet that included a tutorial for everything in the apartment, an overview of the complex and recommendations for local restaurants. The Ramen restaurant she recommended changed my life. She even left travel-size toothbrush and toothpaste in the bathrooms in case you forgot yours.

Krysta’s place was great and she was a great host. We spent time at Disneyland, Long Beach and also took in an Anaheim Ducks game. Good location. Easy to uber but we also had a rental car so we loved having our own place to park. Comfy beds, homey environment with all amenities. If we are ever back in Anaheim we would definitely stay here again.

One of the most peaceful stays I’ve ever had in Cali. Daniel and Logan were very kind and helpful. I would definitely stay here again and recommend this place to others as well, everything you need, not too big not too small just right and a heated pool and jacuzzi(which is very hard to find for a reasonable price). I didn’t want to leave🥹🤧 this place won’t disappoint Im so happy of the memories made here, thank you Daniel & Logan🫶🏽

Lisa is an amazing host! The space was lovely and had everything our family of three needed for a long weekend in the LA sunshine. The beers in the fridge were a very pleasant surprise after a busy afternoon of traveling.

David’s place is amazing. So serene and beautiful, even better than we expected. We couldn’t have asked for a better host. Highly recommend staying here and if we ever make it back to LA, we would gladly stay again.

Trevor and his team were great. Responsive, clean, lots of space, and kitchen came with everything you need. We came in April so weather can be wishy washie which means the pool can be a bit cold. other than that, would recommend and come back again.

We had a wonderful stay at Josh’s beautiful and charming home! The place was very clean, and everything in the kitchen was easy to find and use. As a family traveling with 3 young children (including a 10-month-old), we were delighted to find all the accommodations we needed, including a high chair and pack ’n play. Our hosts, Josh and Emmie, were incredibly helpful, hospitable, and responsive throughout our stay. When we encountered an issue with heating the pool, Josh and Emmie were quick to respond and offer assistance. While it was disappointing that we couldn’t fully enjoy the pool as expected, their attentiveness was much appreciated. The location of the home is fantastic – close to Downtown LA, Koreatown, the Row, and Griffith Park. We also loved exploring the great cafes and restaurants in nearby Silver Lake. Overall, it was a great experience, and we would highly recommend this home to other travelers. We look forward to staying here again in the future!
