Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Åkersberga

We spent the Christmas holidays with the family (2 adults and 3 teenagers) in Hampus's house. The house is very nice and comfortable and the place is particularly relaxing. I would highly recommend it. Thanks to Hampus for his hospitality and flexibility, as well as his tips for visiting the surrounding area.

We (7 of us plus 3 dogs) have had an amazing stay at Ewa’s house! She’s an amazing host! It is in a great location surrounded by nature, very clean, comfortable, cozy, well equipped and really well organized. Ewa was very responsive to any queries and we felt very much at home in her place. Happy New Year!!!

By far our best Airbnb experience *ever*!!!! Truly a home away from home. A gorgeous house with beautiful views of the forest and everything we could ask for. Comfortable beds for both parents and kids, toys, board games, a super well-equipped kitchen... even a baby bathtub! Our eldest son loved playing in the garden on the trampoline, swings etc and we all had a relaxing time in the beautiful cosy interior. thank you, Sara!!!

We had a great week with our family at Torbjörn and Alexandra's place for New Year's Eve. The accommodation is close (about 5 minute walk) to a metro station and a well-stocked supermarket. The house, including the kitchen, are very well equipped to accommodate 6 people. We found everything we needed there. Communication with Torbjörn and Alexandra was fluid. It takes about 15-20 minutes to get to central Stockholm by metro. The surroundings of the house with Lake Trekanten are nice for a stroll. If you want to discover Stockholm, I would recommend Torbjörn and Alexandra's house.

We had a great time in Stockholm and at Sophie's beautiful house. It felt like home the moment we entered. The accomodation is stylish and spacious and the surrounding is just lovely. Shops and metro station are just a 20 minutes walk away through a wonderful little forest. Or you can take a bus that is only 5 minutes away from the house. My family and I very much enjoyed our stay at Sophie's place and hope to return back one day for another vacation in Stockholm.

Most homely Airbnb and well worth the stay over the new year. It was comfortable, cozy and well equipped kitchen that we could make some nice Quiche and Swedish food(for our friend's first visit to Sweden). Went around the city for turist location, including Sci-Fi Bookstore. When we didn't go out, we stayed to play some board games and enjoying the cozy home. Downstairs's bathroom was wonderful to do morning routine, including the Sauna! Easy travel to Central using tunnel tram nearby. Stores nearby if we needed to buy anything we're missing. Calm & low activity on noise. Great respons from host, if had any questions. Instructions sent in .PDF during our stay. Would 100% stay in this lovely house again!

We had a super fun time! The cottage is really super nicely decorated. Everything has been thought of in the kitchen. It really looks like a Swedish cottage! Nearby a lot of beautiful nature. Even seen a deer outside in the morning!

This is a fantastic house for a large family with more than enough space for seven people. It's clean, comfortable, and quiet, and conveniently located near a subway station and a grocery store. Sara, our host, was friendly and had everything prepared for our stay. She even changed one of the beds to a bigger one for our daughter. The place itself is really nice. It's close to the city center but feels like the countryside, with deer wandering around the garden. And I have to mention the cats - they're incredibly friendly, cute, and fluffy.

We had a great time, they also printed us patents to skate on the free rink in the city center.

Really beautiful home. Very grateful for letting us stay! Only issue was the geckos escaped and had us all very worried whilst looking for them. Other than that beautiful home.

Amazing place to stay! Location was supper, everything was within walking distance! The apartment itself was cozy and big enough for four people to have a good time. I will definitely recommend this place to others! 🙂

The appartment is just perfect

We had a nice stay in the apartment. It’s located in a quiet neighborhood with groceries and public transport nearby. The check in was easy and the apartment was clean. It’s a bit on the outskirts of the östermalm area, so you do have to walk/trabel a bit to get to the more central areas. All in all, we had a pleasant stay.

We had a lovely 3 night stay in Dec 2024! The apartment is in a fantastic location - easy walking distance to the train stop, restaurants and grocery stores. Marie had a crib and high chair available for us to use. We would definitely stay here again!

Incredible location to explore the city from, right in the heart of Old Town with lots to do and see. Very close to the Tube which was easy to find and navigate around. Easy to get to from the airport, not too far a walk from the Arlanda Express train which takes you straight from the airport into Stockholm and back again for a reasonable price. Gamla Stan was beautiful to walk around, cobbled streets with lots of food options & tourist stops, a good selection of museums & the Palace was beautiful. The whole area was pretty much pedestrianised which made it an enjoyable place to wonder. Across the bridge there are a number of large shopping malls. We caught a hockey game at Hoven Arena, did the Skyview attraction, went skating at Kungsträdgården & on the frozen lake Trekanten, in Liljeholmen which was very accessible just off the tube. A fantastic mix of city & outdoor activities & as skating & hockey fans, exactly what we came for. The apartment was clean comfortable would come again

The apartment is conveniently located close to subways, Arlanda direct train 40, and very convenient buses. The living room is large and pleasant, the kitchen is functional. The apartment has 4 bedrooms, 2 of which have real beds: the master bedroom with a queen bed, and one of the children's rooms with a single bed. As indicated on the listing, the other 2 bedrooms have mezzanine beds accessible by climbing ramp or steep ladder. The bathroom has an Italian-style shower with toilet and sink. A little bit just for 4 people when you all have to get ready at once. The listing had to be changed but I had expected a bathtub. Deception. Torbjörn was very available by message despite the distance. The smart lock is very convenient to avoid having to juggle keys. I would recommend this place but think that 2 of the beds are not usable by everyone (neither too small nor too big)

This is a really special find. The flat is roomy with a high ceiling (if anything the photos underplay the space). It’s a stylish, creative place, cleverly furnished and the kitchen very well kitted-out. The outside area is leafy and green, great for kids and meals in warm weather - or just sitting and reading. The garden is accessible from the kitchen and opens out to the middle of a courtyard with a nice area connected to the flat as well as an added communal space with a big table, treehouse and slide which in a week we saw no-one else use. The location is the best we’ve ever stayed in in Stockholm, near Centrum as well as lots of parks and was an excellent first time introduction to the city for our 6 year old daughter. It’s Katja’s living space (which is where Airbnb is best) and everything is well tucked away with a decent amount of storage for guests. Two bedrooms tucked away on one side and another bedroom connected to the living area and its huge(!) sofa. Very much recommend.

My son and I had the most fantastic time at Hanna's apartment. The neighborhood was beautiful where it seemed every house had an apple tree heavy with ripe fruit. We were just a short walk from.the trolley so getting downtown was a breeze. After a day of taking in the sights it was so nice to sit in the sauna and relax.

The spacious, private, exceptionally clean apartment (upper floor) of Vera's 1873 home is truly special. We (3 adults) greatly appreciated the warmth of the holiday decorations of the house and the view of the lake and forest across and enjoyed being in this quiet residential area in nature after exploring the sights of Stockholm which are an easy ride away on public transportation. Vera is a super-responsive host, immediately sharing great recommendations in response to our questions.
