I stayed here for 2 months over winter and it was the perfect home base. The apartment is very spacious, the views are stunning, and the property is quiet. Having the hot tub right outside was such a treat and I used it often. Very responsive and friendly hosts as well!

Central location to local restaurants and shops. Close to river side and homely feel for the interior. Bathroom was clean and basic refreshments were supplied by the host. Slightly loud hearing upstairs but would recommend this place to friends and hopefully revisit.

Nice private location with ample space. Matched the expectations and host was very responsive. Easy stay and good instructions. TIP: Drive slowly when finding the house, the house numbers are set back from the road on the house and are hard to see in the dark.

We stayed for a few days in winter. Nancy’s place is in a great location and has everything you could ask for a comfortable stay. The house was very clean and well maintained, and Nancy was a very helpful host. There is plenty of space for a much bigger group than we had!

This was our second stay but it was at one of their next door cabins. We booked it again for this stay because we liked how welcoming the hosts were but also how comfortable and clean their cabin was. We haven't been disappointed this time and actually impressed by even better service from the hosts as this time they went above and beyond when we requested if we can have the scrabble board game from the next door cabin and it was already late in the evening. One of the hosts (JoAnna) was the champion by not only bringing the board game to our door step but also a newer and bigger version of Scrabble! If you are a couple and looking for a romantic and cozy spot in Castlegar with amazing host then this is the spot you need to book!

We went looking for a total peaceful and quiet getaway and this place more than delivered. Very quiet area, so many areas and things to explore. We didn’t have many questions, but the ones we did have she was very responsive. All amenities were as listed. The outside dining and relaxing area were a huge hit. We are looking forward to going back for our next getaway!

We booked Courtney's place so as to ride the Slocan Valley Rail Trail. She has 2 units side by side. Next door is the Slocan Hotel..great little bar. On the other side was small coffee shop/bakery which we did not have time to try. Friday night Legion across street has home style dinner. Very much enjoyed our stay. Clean. comfortable and convenient.

We loved staying at Yasmin’s place, the place is peaceful and beautiful. If you’re looking for a place to lower the stress level, this is the right place. Also if you open the Window at night, you’ll listen the water running on the fountain which is really relaxing.

Huge historic house with modern appliances and fun Victorian type decor. The hot tub was very nice too. The beds, bedding and towels were very nice as well. The house is located at the entrance of a trailer park where you are able to walk thru to gain access to a rocky beach area and could also launch a kayak. The best sandy peninsula beach on the lake was a short walk 5 minute on Lower 6 Mile Road. I communicated thru AirBNB text to Kamala and she was very quick to respond. This was really a very nice AirBNB.

Peter was one of the best hosts I have had on Airbnb, and I have been to more than a couple. He provided such a great experience that we will return to his place very soon. He was always available, helped us with any request, and provided so many good tips about the area that we couldn't believe. Peter goes above and beyond to deliver a good experience. 10 out of 10, I would definitely recommend staying at Peter's place. The surroundings are incredible and peaceful and the place feels like home.

Great experience! It is not easy to find a place that allowed dogs. Shelley works very hard to accommodate dog owners while making sure everyone has a wonderful time enjoying her property and the beach. My family just visited the Kaslo Suit for a 4 day weekend. Home was clean and Shelley went out of her way to insure we were comfortable and had everything we needed upon check in. This place is a gem - on the beach and minutes from town while secluded and surrounded by nature. Shelley was a wonderful host and my family will be sure to return :)

Hotel Nocturne is a great home base for anyone planning to ski at Whitewater, or simply enjoy the town of Nelson. I stayed for almost 2 weeks without a car, and had no trouble getting around on foot. It's about a 15 minute walk to Baker St (the main strip downtown with great night life and art/music scene), and a 5 minute walk to Alpine Inn, where the public shuttle picks up folks daily for the mountain. The kitchenette comes complete with enough to cook most meals (including a portable electric stovetop which was a home run). Comfortable bed, clean bathroom with a cozy heat lamp, drying rack for wet clothes from the ski hill, etc. Highly recommend!

If I could give more than 5 stars I would! What a lovely experience staying at this suite. Super cozy, quiet, and beautiful! Thomas was an excellent host, I used his guide to find places for hiking and restaurants and they’re all great! It made my life so much easier. He was also very responsive to my questions, which made even more helpful and easy to enjoy a couple of days in Nelson. I could see in every detail that the hosts put into the suite that they are very careful with the experience and my husband and I were so happy we chose this place to relax. Hope to come back in the future :)

The large suite was as shown by the photos, located in a quiet neighbourhood, with a beautiful view of the lake and surrounding area. The living room was cozy and the beds were comfy. We enjoyed 2 relaxing nights and would definitely return.

We stayed for three weeks and it felt like it was our home. Jenna always responded to inquiries right away and was eager to share info about the surrounding area. Supplies were restocked immediately when we needed them. We also got a complimentary cleaning midway through our stay which was nice… would 100% stay here again.

What a beautiful gem! We really enjoyed our stay especially with the views that overlooked the beautiful Purcell mountains. The beach access and being a hop and a skip to the Hot Springs resort was such a bonus. What would add the perfect touch would be robes and slippers for the guests to feel like an extension of the resort.
