Vacation rentals with lake access in Agios Nikolaos

We spent incredibly beautiful three weeks at Villa Olga. Together with my husband and my 10 month old daughter, we could immediately feel at home and enjoy the holiday immediately. The house is located on a street, but that doesn't bother you. The location and proximity to the sea are great and the house is well equipped. We lacked nothing, from music box, TV, kitchen appliances, etc. everything was there. We particularly liked the kitchen equipment, as we like to cook a lot and this was definitely possible here at Olga's. The rooftop jacuzzi, the outdoor shower in the "garden" and the luxury of 2 bathrooms made our stay perfect and the farewell all the harder. We highly recommend Olga's villa and hope to be able to vacation in this beautiful house again next year:)

Such a beautiful place, we felt we were in paradise. We took our own food so didn’t try the taverna but enjoyed dinner with a beautiful view every night and two nights we lay back a star gazed for hours on the deck chairs. Amazing stay in your accommodation and the village of Avdou, couldn't recommend the house enough, very clean and lovely bedding and towels! Courtyard was lovely private space to sit and relax together with family. Lovely friendly village we were given lovely cake from one of the neighbours. We will defiantly back to stay! Eleni is very friendly and welcoming, leaving us delicious biscuits at our door and a bottle of raki in the fridge to warm up our evenings (thanks for the fruit, too!). The apartment is great, offering a beautiful view of Agios Lake and a spacious rooftop!

It was wonderful as a family. And the location is a dream! The small cottage is right on a little visited beach. In order to get into the water, you have to walk over stones, but you can. A fantastic (but full) sandy beach is right around the corner. Directly at the house is a small playground and football field. In the village, there are several restaurants that were still open in October, small supermarkets and bakeries. They are all on a busy road. The house has a small terrace that is well protected from wind. Small children can move around here. And Constantina is always available, always friendly and helpful. So: it was a great vacation!

We had a wonderful stay at this property from 8/26/24 to 9/10/24. We arrived and wanted to see what is available and what we might have to buy. There were ice batteries available, filters for the coffee maker, salt, pepper, oil, some pods for the washing machine, aluminum foil, etc. The bed was freshly made and there was also an iron and ironing board. The accommodation was very clean! The dishwasher was not in operation, which did not bother us, as we had little to rinse with two people every day. Direct neighbors have a small supermarket where you can find everything for everyday needs. However, we drove to Lidl 10 minutes away every week. The beach is 5 minutes away by foot. Voulisma Beach is a sandy beach. On the left side of the beach there are loungers for 15 euros per couple, on the right side for 25. Air conditioning ran perfectly. Quiet location in the village.

Tiny and nice apartment in Istro, in a paceful area just 5 minutes by feet from the beach and the restaurant. Sofia it's fantastic, kind and helpful and so quick in reply. We got some nice days here, thank you Sofia 💚

We loved the view of the lake and the sea. It is really worth booking over the rooftops and enjoying. Not without reason, so many people are traveling around the lake in the evening. Maria also has very good recommendations where the Cretans are also happy. Thank you for that too.

Dionysis was very responsive on very short notice. We arrived in Agios Nikolaos with no accommodations(the one we booked fell through). We booked online and were checked in within the hour. It made our stay in Agios Nikolaos relaxing and fun!

Fantastic apartment, just in the city center with a fantastic view to the lake. It is placed right on the pedestrian street. All you need in walking distance. Gianna was a brilliant host, helpful and quick to response. Can only recommend Gianna and the apartment.

The small apartment is really very well equipped and freshly modernized. Quiet, rural overlooking nature. Good hiking opportunities nearby. The pretty neighboring village of Mochos also has some beautiful tavernas open far outside the season. The tavern in the house is open on the weekend. Maria and Kostas are really the friendliest and affectionate hosts ever: water, juice, wine, raki, fruit and cake to welcome you and because I was still hungry late at night on arrival, Maria even conjured up a wonderful dinner. I'd love to come back, but then for a longer stay.
