Ryokan vacation rentals in Agatsuma District

A great stay at such an old and beautiful ryokan. It was the perfect location in Shibu Onsen and the staff were fantastic with providing extra information. The tatami beds were very comfortable, even as a westerner who has had spinal surgery. I would definitely recommend staying here when coming to the Nagano region.

Had such a wonderful experience here. Lucky to see many Snow Monkeys during my visit and met friends. Everything was so streamline and hosts were extremely kind and helpful. Beautiful old building that is walking distance to many restaurants and the onsen. Would definitely stay here again! 😊

Very pleasant stay at Yoshi and Seongmi’s inn. Everything was clean with a soothing aesthetic throughout and specially sourced ingredients at breakfast. The town itself is a great base for activities. For example, I took the train to Obuse to visit the Hokusai Museum in the morning and returned for snow monkeys midday. Walked back from the snow monkey park through vintage Shibu onsen town and enjoyed a Yamanouchi onsen on a rooftop at sunset. A peak experience!
