Vacation rentals in Acornhoek

My challenge in writing this review will be to keep it succinct. I have too many positive things to say. In short, our experience exceeded our expectations. Our multigenerational group of 3 adults and 2 children (ages 7 and 10) thoroughly enjoyed the unique opportunity to experience the relaxation that comes with living in a wild natural setting, alongside the thrill of unconfined close animal encounters. We felt safe, welcomed, and cared for and never intruded upon. Communication was excellent and the accommodations were comfortable and lovely. The hosts went out of their way, in my opinion, to assist with our transfer arrangements from Johannesburg. I was able to modify my original plan, using their suggestions, to arrive at a more affordable and predictable route from the airport to the lodge. We found Staffan to be a very intuitive host and loved his stories and reflections about his lived experience in South Africa. 10/10 recommend.

The place is very well maintained and I think I found the best braai spot after 2 weeks! 😊The accommodation is very spacious, well maintained and very clean! Beautiful, black Impalas and Albino Bontebok and white guinea poultry in front of the house. All in all a great deal with a great value for money at the gates of the KNP. Living in the forest is a very unforgettable experience. Oli is very kind and friendly.

The entrance to our cottage was a bit tight, there was not enough space to turn our car around, we could only reverse out but other than that the cottage exceeded our expectations. It was stunning, Celesti was extremely helpful and friendly. It was the perfect place for a romantic getaway for our anniversary

The house was exactly how it was described it matched the pictures. Carmari was a great host, very kind and helpful. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to visit Mpumalanga. it's close to the shopping mall, which makes easy for deliveries from all the major stores and restaurants. 1010 can't wait to go back.

This is a very beautiful and peaceful place, it matches the description. The scenery is to die for. We loved how private the place is, no disturbance from anyone. The pool area is superb. The host is very responsive. We’ll definitely visit the place again.

If you are just looking for a bed to sleep in, there are plenty of places to go. But if you a seeking a truly amazing experience in a wonderfully creative architectural environment then the salt cave cottage is definitely something you should try to book. I was there for a week and never left. It was exactly the kind of break I was looking for!

A great place to stay! Very nice and generously decorated, you feel safe and immediately at home. There are even several ways to sit outside and you can drive to the property. Graskop is a good starting point or stop for the panoramic route. We would come back anytime - thank you!
