Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Abondance

We arrived and left late. The host was very accommodating about it. The TV was a good size and had Netflix. We only stayed 2 nights and only ate in restaurants. The kitchen looked clean and properly equipped even though we didn't use it. They want you to take out the trash and remove the linens. I find that a bit annoying since you also pay a cleaning fee, but those are their rules and they're not completely unreasonable. The bike path is easily accessible which was important to us.

The cottage is very warm and comfortable. Communication with Isabelle was perfect.

A beautiful, large family house with a large and fully furnished kitchen. Barely a living room (approx. 3×3 meters, next to the front door), so limited seating comfort. 7 bedrooms including 4 with a double bed (140 cm wide) and 3 with 2x single bed. Terrace next to the front door and a large terrace next to the house, both sunny. No garden (should you bring your dog, pay close attention). On the ground floor and in the attic a bathroom, toilets on all floors. The house is some distance away on a main road (gives some noise), near the center of Notre-Dame-de-Bellecombe; you can go buy walking bread or eat out in one of the restaurants. Beautiful surroundings with mountains (Mont Charvin and views of Mont Blanc on several walks), swimming lake in Flumet, variety of lifts that are open. 1.15 hours drive to Annecy train station, approx. 45 minutes drive to Albertville. WiFi available. No washing machine (laundry nearby), no TV. Very friendly, helpful hostess!

Great location and brilliant view!

From start to finish, Claudia was the friendliest & most helpful host I have ever had (I''ve been on AirBnB for over 15 years). She answered all our questions and gave tons of local recommendations, and was also flexible with our check-in, which was a lifesaver after an early morning of traveling with 2 children! The home is super cozy, just as lovely as the pictures, and in a peaceful location with gorgeous views & easy local train connection into downtown. We particularly appreciated the fully stocked kitchen (cooking oil, spices, utensils, etc.), the toy chest in the kid's room (Legos, stuffed animals, figurines, etc.), and the fireplaces (all ready to go with firewood already stacked beside them)! Be aware the stairs are made from beautiful stone & wood, and as such can be slippery. Our grippy socks were perfect for them! All in all, we had an incredible stay and will absolutely be returning. We recommend this home & host to everyone who is lucky enough to book!!!!

Theresa is a super host. She got back to our every need she help us with all our needs and requests to make the holiday special. She gave us Cassie too who made beautiful cakes and delivered them. She supported our late check out which really helped. The place was tidy the beds and bedding super comfortable and a really well stocked Chalet. Lots of lovely touches which were a surprise but appreciated. We’d happily come back.

Had an absolutely fabulous week at Jane & Robin’s home. My wife, kids and I just didn’t want to leave. The home itself is full of warmth and peace. The garden is just fabulous with views of Lake Geneva and the mountains. I could spend weeks sitting there, sipping on wine and reading a book. The kids loved the massive trampoline and the stand up swimming pool. The whole house was extremely comfortable, lovely dining table kitchen, tv area and bedrooms. You definitely need a car and in any case anyone coming to the Montreux area should rent one. By car there are fabulous restaurants, cafes and supermarkets within 5 mins of the home. I definitely want to return to this piece of paradise - let me know when it’s available again, Robin and Jane!

Beautiful apartment, great view from the green balcony, good amenities (large fridge, oven, dishwasher, washing machine...).. The garage is also very convenient.

Arnauld is a great host, we felt right at home in his beautiful apartment right in the centre of the old town. The apartment is so charming and cosy, and the location was perfect for us. In addition to all of that, we found Arnauld extremely friendly and helpful, we really enjoyed our stay!

Great stay at Alina's place, everything is there to make you feel perfect. The place is perfect for a quiet weekend. Great walk up with the funicular. We recommend this place and this home!

Absolutely perfect stay ! Beautiful village, Apartment has exactly everything you need with the most amazing view. Taking the time to Send us information about the local area / buses etc, made this so much easier for us to figure out. Joanne and Greg were the perfect hosts. Made us feel right at home. We had a great sunny week. Everything was perfect, we had a nice and very convenient accommodation, TV, washing machine, dishwasher etc...and quiet. Our very nice hosts, highly recommend.

Great place in a great location. Really friendly hosts. Ideal for long weekend of skiing or summer activities in Alps. Immaculately clean. Central location is fantastic for getting around, but can be a bit noisy at night if you worry about that sort of thing!

i had such a wonderful stay here. it was perfect for myself and my little senior dog while i had work to do at the UN; transportation was quick and easy, the apartment was lovely and peaceful, and the location convenient and quiet. after over a decade of staying in geneva city center itself during UN related travels, this stay in Ferney Voltaire for me and my little dog was a nice change and i hope to stay again. hosts are totally sweet and welcoming and helpful, and the apartment had everything needed and some kind treats. thank you!!

We stayed 4 nights at Adam's place for a holiday with our 2 children (3 and 1 year). As mentioned on the listing, the apartment is very minimalist but we didn't need more because it is still well equipped. The children's games did the feast of ours and the wifi hotspot saved us (we didn't have Switzerland, for French, it's international). Adam's place is very close to the tram to visit Geneva, and there are everything you need for shops within a few minutes walk. We recommend it!

A perfect stay! The accommodation is beautiful, very cozy and well equipped, we lack nothing. The location is simply magical, and the host is extremely responsive. I highly recommend it!

Very nice rental with stunning views of the waterfall. Everything was impecc. Numerous activities and hikes close by. Very peaceful environment conducive to healing. The pool is a real plus after a day of hiking!

A great experience. Very quiet apartment with a modest and pleasant winter view of Lake Geneva and its mountains. The apartment is just perfect, "like home". Marcel is very responsive to our requests. The bed comes with a VERY comfortable mattress. The only not really negative points are about technology. Slow wifi and hard-to-handle TV decoder for elders.

Coming for a week's stay with 2 children, we were welcomed very well and the accommodation is ideally located to shine around the Lake. The space has an exceptional view even more impressive than the photos. The environment is very peaceful. We recomand of course .
