Very comfortable apartment close to amenities, shops and eating places. Well-equipped kitchen and efficient shower - and good use of space in the bedroom/sitting-room. Parking was easy to find near the property and it was very quiet overnight. Perfect for a couple or singleton and highly recommended as a base for exploring a beautiful area of Scotland.

The Burnside Apartment

MichelleRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We really enjoyed The Burnside Apartment. It was modern, clean and very cosy with the log burner. It served as a good base for sightseeing in the area. We had absolutely everything we needed including farm fresh eggs supplied by the Hosts. There was a good supply of kitchen and bathroom essentials to see us through our stay. The Hosts were very attentive and responsive to any needs. I would highly recommend staying at this apartment.

Findhorn House. Luxury finished, waterfront home!

JoanneRating, 5 stars14 months ago
Angela's place in Findhorn is simply beautiful and we had everything we needed from the amazing location, to the accommodation itself being exactly as advertised to the way the apartment is decorated and furnished. Angela made everything very easy for us; it is true, she does reply within 1 hour and we felt so welcome when we arrived. The fire was lit, there was prosecco chilling and the lamps we already on. The bay in Findhorn is stunning and the apartment is right on the sea front. It's a short walk to the sandy part of the bay to see the seals and there is a lovely pub, The Kimberley, no more than 100 metres up the road. Everything was wonderful. I would highly recommend Angela's place and we will definitely stay there again when we return to Findhorn. Thank you again.
The living area features a spacious brown leather sectional sofa accompanied by a light rug. A white coffee table sits center, while a dining table is set for four, showcasing elegant tableware. Large windows allow natural light to illuminate the room, complemented by soft lighting fixtures.

Stayed here while studying minke whales (or lack there of until May-ish) and dolphins in the area. Kiddos will probably love the bunny coat hanger. I stayed in the top bedroom which is the one next to the bathroom, a nice place and the bed is soft :)

Crovie The Mission Hall

DebbiRating, 5 stars1 month ago
This is an amazing venue. You can feel the springs through one of the beds, but the way that this old Mission Hall has been rescued and loved trumps everything. The drive down to Crovie is steep, and single track in some places, and might not suit a nervous driver, but arrive in the daytime, unlike us (dark, pouring rain, a gale, and waves hitting the half mile path to get to the Hall whilst water fills the trolly you use to get your stuff there) and you will love it. We took our 4 black labs, who do not go upstairs or on sofas, and were so grateful that this was permitted. I thought I had booked 3 nights not 2, and checked out an hour late, but Gisela was very nice about it. Be sure to take food and drink for at least a half day, if not a full day or two, just in case the weather keeps you inside, as although there's another village less than a miles walk away, you cannot get there at high tide. All in all, a little jewel, but a March visit may not be for the faint-hearted.

Speyside (Aberlour) 3-bed Riverside House

LauraRating, 5 stars3 months ago
Very lovely place for a family stay! Beautiful surroundings, if you love walking and hiking - even better! Probably not a super child friendly place if they are small as there’s loads of decorations and books around the house, but other than that - we were happy with the place.

Cladach

VickyRating, 5 stars2 months ago
A wonderful stay in this beautiful house. A great location, The sunsets even in Feb were beautiful. The house is fully equipped with everything we needed as a family of four. The kids loved the extra touches like yummy tablet (Scottish fudge) and to use the binoculars to help spot sealife and birds. We used the house as a base to visit family further down the coast but Buckie was lovely and we enjoy shopping, breakfast and lunch at pozzi and ice creams at the ice cream cabin and over in Portsoy. We wouldn’t hesitate to book again.
