Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Aberdeen City

Extremely well equipped, clean, comfy and cozy apartment. We stayed here comfortably with four people. Location is ideal and the center and surroundings of Aberdeen are easily reachable. Sean was very helpful and friendly. Big plus was the private and safe parking space. Can only recommend!

We stayed here due to its proximity to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary where my husband had major surgery. There's a shared garden which is secure, and a couple of parks just along the road for dog walking. The hospital is a 10 - 15 minute walk which saved the hassle of trying to park there. On street parking never seemed too busy and we were always able to park right outside the door of the flat, which helped tremendously when my husband wasn't too mobile. We could sometimes hear people moving about in the flat upstairs but there were no intrusive noises. It was quieter than we expected even though on a main road. It was just what we needed.

We were incredibly happy with our stay at the cottage. The location was ideal in a quiet and peaceful area and just a short drive in to the city and to several beautiful walking trails. The cottage was spacious and well equipped and there were even little Easter decorations put up. We felt right at home. We were greeted at our arrival and Sharon she showed us around the cottage and told us everything we needed to know for a pleasant stay. We would highly recommend this place, and wished we could have stayed longer. Thank you Sharon and Graham for such a lovely accommodation , lovely welcome and the best start to our holiday.

Susan was an attentive host. The bedrooms were beautiful and we had fantastic sleeps in cozy beds - that is so rare, but so important. The area was lovely. A great stay.

Stayed here with my husband and daughter, who is considering attending the university. We wanted to be close to the uni, and this cottage is literally across the street! We loved the proximity to the historic buildings, the cobblestone streets, and the proximity to the bus routes. The cottage itself is very charming and comfortable. Decor is so fun and unique, the beds were so soft and comfortable, the shower was great—overall very clean and cozy! The owners were also very attentive, kind and responsive. Highly recommend!

I’ve stayed in hundreds of Airbnb all over the country for work but Pauline’s was by far the best yet personal touches like biscuits and cake as welcome gift with milk and coffee also gave me freshly laid eggs which were amazing would highly recommend to anyone lucky enough to stay here

Ideal place to rest for a couple of days. Some great restaurants just a short walk away. The street is fairly quiet so we had a very calm stay. Basia is superb. Very helpful and responsive and a really proactive and honest host. Thank you Basia and Lee!

We had another wonderful stay in Victoria’s beautiful home in Footdee. Victoria is very good at communicating. She is responsive and friendly, and even reached out on our day of arrival to check we were all ok. The home itself is in a perfect location. It is seconds from the beach which is stunning, along with all the nearby facilities - a play park, cafes, some shops, a cinema and bowling, soft play, crazy golf, arcades and a fairground, which is ideal if you have children! The cottage is perfectly appointed with a very sensible use of space and has everything you could possibly need. We enjoyed using the gas fire in the evenings in the living room for an extra touch of cosiness! The beds in both of the bedrooms are so comfortable, with lovely mattresses and pillows - they feel luxurious and such a treat! This was our second stay at Victoria’s home and we’ve already booked again for the summer! Thank you again for another wonderful stay Victoria!

We loved our short stay at Girdle Ness. The cottage was very warm and cosy, and amazing to look out on the light house each morning. Numerous dolphins spotted from the end of the drive each day, and also close in to shore along the promenade in Aberdeen. Lovely place, very quiet but yet only 5 mins or so by car into the city centre. Equally easy to get out and up Deeside and elsewhere as well. The perfect place to explore both Aberdeen, its surrounds and wildlife.
