Barn vacation rentals in Aare

We enjoyed being in the heart of this valley in a good place to live. Sophie is very attentive and André produces a good sourdough bread and pies that we tasted with the fondues. We would highly recommend this place that can accommodate a family.

Great Family Living! The apartment was very spacious and clean, it was equipped with everything you need to accommodate 10 guests in complete comfort. The common areas and rooms were spacious and pleasant to spend time together. The house, which is surrounded by greenery, offers a fantastic view and Sandra was very present for communication.

We had a very nice stay with the family. We appreciated the calm of the place and the discretion of our host who was attentive and responsive to us. Everything you needed was in the accommodation. We recommend +++

The property is a very lovingly renovated cottage from an old barn as it is typical of the Lötschental. The pictures give a good impression of it. Bright and very spacious and equipped with everything you need. There were only two of us, but there are also enough of everything (e.g. dishes, cutlery, space). Bakery and pub (village cellar) are close by. We did not meet Ole and Silvia in person, but communication was always quick and hassle-free and the self-check-in via the key box was comfortable because we could not accurately determine our arrival time in advance. With the guest card, which is valid for every day booked, you get great discounts (e.g. bus, gondola, museum, mini golf for free). Also recommended are the audio tours in the villages. We were particularly pleased with the personal welcome:-)

We had a lovely holiday in Christophe's apartment with two adults, two children and a medium sized dog! This is already quite small with four people and dog, but since you usually stay outside in good weather anyway, that was ok for us! The fact that the floor upstairs creaks quite a bit was already mentioned in previous reviews. If you have children with a light sleep, this could be a problem. It wasn't a problem for us. It is definitely very much taken care of the privacy of the vacationers, which we found very pleasant. The absolute highlight is definitely the pool, which is very well maintained and invites you to linger! The location is very nice and quiet, which of course means you have to drive a few kilometers to the nearest supermarket! Therefore, a car is definitely a must! We had a very pleasant summer stay in Seleute. Gerard is a very friendly and attentive host. The accommodation is spacious, a little old-fashioned, but very pleasant and well-equipped. The village and the area are very quiet, offer beautiful scenery and are really worth a visit, especially for hiking lovers.

We really enjoyed our stay as Gasard’s place. It was spacious, decor was on point, 2 bath rooms meant our family of 5 didn’t have to wait for one another.

Sarah was an amazing host; always responsive, friendly, and gave a great list of recommendations. She picked us up and dropped us off at the train station, and her place was even better in person. It was cozy, clean, had more than enough room for me and my 6 friends, and was overall the best airbnb I’ve stayed at.

A fantastic chalet, immaculate inside and out. The owner was engaging from the point of entry and responded immediately when we encountered a minor issue. Despite being out the country on holiday, he resolved the issue without delay. 5 star property with a 5 star host.

I felt right at home, it had everything you'd need for a short stay! Would definitely go back there just to have a peaceful weekend.

A beautiful, large house and very tastefully furnished. But the terrace was our absolute highlight! Even in the rain you can linger outside. However, the house is not very suitable for holidays without a car. The post bus stops right in front of the house, but it only runs on weekdays, three times in the morning, once at noon and once in the evening. Sylvain and his family are very attentive and generous hosts. Warm thanks for your trust🌞!

A perfect stay! Stef was very kind in communication, making sure the place is perfectly suited to our situation with two toddlers. The loft is even more charming than the photos, with a poetic decoration dotted with little heathered treasures, carefully hidden in every corner of the home. Everything is also designed to limit disposable objects and packaging. Finally, the location is ideal for discovering the beautiful Gruyère region.
