Vacation rentals in Waianae

My first time visiting Hawaii, and our stay at Ricks was exceptional. We wanted something private, with a beautiful view and away from the extremely busy hotel setting yet close to local food, and things to do. The view was beautiful, we had everything we needed, and it was private. We were only minutes from the beach, and parking was available at a walking distance. We highly recommend, prime location is vital.

When we opened the door our first look was the beach and the ocean! Easy access to the beach right outside the condos. The beach was never overly crowded. Gated and secure. We loved sitting in the lanai to watch and listen to the surf and of course the sunsets. They provided everything we might need from snorkeling to picnicking or just sitting on the beach. Very responsive if we had a question. Our last day there we saw a rainbow over the water. A perfect ending to a perfect vacation. Mahalo for a wonderful visit!

This place is absolutely so worthwhile, especially you can go to ritz Carlton to enjoy stunning sunset!

We had a wonderful and peaceful stay at the Coloradoan. The condo is fine for a couple. A highlight was that one could walk to spectacular and almost deserted beaches on the beautiful Pacific. The host, Ju, was very helpful.

My family of 4 really loved and enjoyed the island time while we are at the condo very nice, clean and quiet and very private beautiful area my kids and I loved everything about this place especially beach front we would recommend staying on this place 💯 % and we will definitely be staying here again in the future thank you for making us feel right at home we loved the condo and has everything you need can’t wait to go back :)

Sue's apartment is fantastic! It is perfectly equipped, beautifully decorated and has all the beach essentials. I immediately felt at home. The Ritz Carlton beach is very close by and other surfing or swimming spots are within easy reach. Great location on the North Shore. Sue is a very thoughtful host! I can highly recommend Sue as a host and her apartment.

We had a wonderful time at Murial’s villa. The villa is much more spacious, brighter, and more comfortable than it appears in the Airbnb photos — the pictures really don't do it justice! We didn’t feel rushed at all; it was perfectly relaxing to stay at Murial’s villa. Communication with Murial was excellent, and the instructions were very clear. We truly appreciate everything. Absolutely loved our stay at Take’s place in Honolulu! From the moment we arrived, everything was seamless—check-in was easy, the space was spotless, and the location couldn’t have been better. Take was incredibly welcoming and responsive, offering great local recommendations and making sure we had everything we needed. The home had a relaxing vibe, perfect after a day of exploring Oahu. Whether it was the cozy interior, fast Wi-Fi, or the beautiful view from the balcony, every detail was thoughtfully arranged. This was easily one of the best Airbnb experiences we’ve ever had. Mahalo, Take—we’ll definitely be back!

Charles Place was perfect for for my family. The outdoor space was amazing , we sat outside almost every day to enjoy the beautiful weather, view, and we loved the BBQ and fire pit to sit around. All bathrooms were stocked with stuff that you sometimes forget on vacation. The beds were very comfy. Kitchen was very modern. We loved the water filter attached to the sink this made it easy for us to get water at anytime. The space comes along with plenty of beach supplies for 8 people which was very nice. The local beach was only a 5 minute drive from the property. Not a lot of restaurants but honestly the drive around the island was beautiful which distracted you from the drive time. Charles is an amazing responsive host which made it very easy to express any questions we had . We will definitely stay again if we come back to this island. Thanks for the great stay !

This was an amazing stay for me and my family of 9. We had plenty of place to sleep. Home was well organized, and clean. Kitchen was very well stocked. We went to market before we got there, and didn’t realize there were many item already stocked in the home. Such as sugar, tea, hot choclate, salt & pepper, spices, even ketchup. Washer and dryer came in very handy during our stay- so we didn’t need to pack much, and also towels were very clean. It was a great experience and we definitely plan to be back.

Our family considers this house a home away from home. Any and everything you need is available and the owner is super helpful/responsive. We love staying here and will on each of our trips. So far we have spent 18 days there through 2 separate vacations and would choose it every time over any other spot.

Very clean accommodations. Nice central location to Pearl Harbor and airport. Rangel always responded to my questions quickly

Alex was very responsive when I needed help with some things. Taught me a trick with the shower. Reading their rule binder gave me a warm welcome vibe. I recommend if you’re staying around for a quick getaway.

Beautiful home and neighborhood with spectacular Mountain views! Host is very responsive and our stay was marvelous!

We loved our stay here. The unit was perfect for a group of 5 women celebrating a reunion. Close to sharks cove and cute town of Haleiwa. Walking distance to several beaches. One very beautiful secluded beach that has turtles. The pool near the unit was lovely and the patio space was private and peaceful. The kitchen was perfectly equipped. It was also amazing to have snorkel equipment, beach chairs & boogie boards. Living space with large sectional couch was the best.

We stayed end of May, the view was gorgeous. Monk seal beached itself right by the property, saw turtles, and the beach was not crowded.

Charlie’s place was just as pictured & more! The space is a corner unit located on the second highest floor & has beautiful views over looking the ocean, Waikiki beach, city & the mountains. The unit was very clean, perfectly designed & easily walkable to the beach & local restaurants. It was a perfect rental for our first trip to Hawaii & Charlie is an amazing helpful host!

We had the best time here. So close to Waimea Bay which became our fav beach, it was less than a 10 min walk! Absolutely wonderful place to stay, also very kind and helpful host!

Great location with incredible scenery. It's a very quiet and private area. I would recommend staying here if you're looking to be away from the busyness of the city.

We loved this place! It was definitely one of the more reasonable cost rentals in the Lanikai neighborhood but it didn’t disappoint. A few things of note: - the appliances are high end KitchenAide and Bosch. The cooktop is a two burner induction that you can put away when not in use. Toaster oven as well. Compact dishwasher and fridge is a one drawer fridge/ one drawer freezer that fits under counter - ample beach towels. Also beach chairs and umbrellas. - the pool was wonderful - less than 10 min walk to Lanikai Beach - do the pillbox hike up the ridge behind you if you want a good workout! We loved our week here. Always planned to cook out on the Weber grill but didn’t end up doing so. The patio was awesome at the end of each day and for morning coffee. Neighborhood was safe. Met the pest control guy and the pool guy while we were here- both really friendly. Would definitely choose this place again.

We had a great stay in Kailua! The house is very comfortable, and it’s only a couple minutes walk to the Kalamas beach access. When not at the beach (with the chairs, towels, boogie boards, and toys provided) or eating Island Snow, the kids loved playing in the yard and the play room, and watching movies in the living room. We ended up staying mostly in Kailua and Lanikai for beaches, shopping, and restaurants, with one morning at the botanical gardens in Kaneohe and one at Haunama Bay, and an afternoon at Bishop Museum after check-out. We’d love to stay here again, in this well-appointed and clean house with hosts who responded to our questions and provided clear guidance on the check-in and check-out process.

We couldn’t have had a better location. Our family of four stayed at Brooke’s place. We have a three and six year old and it was absolutely perfect. The kitchen was fully equipped for those who have early risers and want to make breakfast in the home. We would also make lunches and break from the beach and eat outside at the outdoor dining people. It took us less than a minute to walk to the beach and they had all the beach necessities for a great day. We will be back!!! Lastly, Brooke was wonderful with communication and very friendly.

Shirley's place had everything we needed and was a wonderful place to be for our vacation. Shirley was easy to communicate with and friendly. The space was clean and comfortable. The kitchen is tiny home sized (as pictured) and it had everything we needed to cook meals during our stay. We would definitely stay again in the future!
