Lihue vacation rentals

We’ve stayed in Baby’s Beach area and Koloa before but never at Kuhio Shores. We really enjoyed location and the unit! The stove wasn’t working properly so that was a bummer as it disrupted a couple meals we planned to make but they were very responsive and came to unit to assess situation. We would stay here again.

We only stayed one night, got there pretty late and left very early in the morning. Place was perfect for our needs, easy and flexible check-in, clean, great location. I would stay again if in Kauai.

Place was just as described! Great place for our 2 nights in princeville. We appreciated the small kitchen appliances, coffee + snacks. Mahalo for hosting ☺️🌺

The most perfect stay! My husband and I brought our almost 8 month old and having a pack n play and high chair at our condo was an absolute game changer. We truly didn’t need a THING while staying here. Having so many amenities and extras made it extremely worth while. If we ever go back to Kauai we will 100% stay here again, I don’t think we could stay anywhere else!

Wonderful stay – highly recommended! We had an amazing stay at this resort. The apartment was beautiful, fully equipped with everything we needed, and very clean and well-maintained. The whole resort was stunning and clearly very well cared for. Check-in was smooth and quick, and everything was really well organized. There were lots of great facilities, including a lovely pool and a BBQ area. We also appreciated all the helpful information provided by the reception and the availability of extra activities. The bed was very comfortable, and the air conditioning worked perfectly – which made our stay even more pleasant. Another big plus was the convenient and free parking. Honestly, we have no complaints at all. Everything was just perfect. Highly recommended!

We love the sand suite! It was large and clean. It is super close to some little shops and unreal views! Obviously we are in Hawaii so it is humid in the space. The couch in the front room isn’t very comfortable to relax on so it would be nice to have more seating options. The bed was so comfortable and it did stay nice and cool in there. We loved staying here and look forward to visiting again!

I honestly can’t think of a better location to stay in Kauai. Kapaa is ideally located for traveling either north or south and a short distance from Lihue. The condo is right on the beach across a short walkway and the view is spectacular. We loved the sound of the waves in the night. Also, it’s next to the pool and a 2 minute walk from restaurants and stores. Josie was super responsive to our questions and everything went smoothly. Two enthusiastic thumbs up!

Absolutely perfect! It’s a double condo with tons of space and a double lanai with beautiful views. Truly our best air bnb stay yet. Princeville is gorgeous and the Hanalei Bay Resort has great amenities, two good restaurants, two pools access to the beach and a beach bar. Spectacular!

Tom’ s place was the perfect place to stay in Kauai! It’s right on the beach, so we woke up to the most beautiful sunrises every morning and fell asleep to the sound of the waves. The view from the lanai is stunning - we spent hours just sitting out there, soaking it all in. The condo had everything we needed for beach days: chairs, towels, umbrella...Super convenient and thoughtful! Tom was an awesome host — super kind, easy to communicate with. He really made us feel welcome and made sure we had everything we needed for a smooth and relaxing stay. If you’re looking for a chill, beachfront spot with incredible views and walking distance to restaurants, coffee shops, markets…,this is the place. We’d come back in a heartbeat. Mahalo, Tom!

Tiare’s home was excellent. It is perfect for those looking for a quiet place that is drivable to all the main spots. It had all the amenities we needed during our stay. The bed was so comfortable. Great place and would recommend!

We felt very comfortable in the apartment – it was exceptionally well-equipped, especially the kitchen, which had everything we needed, including a dishwasher. It was definitely one of the best-equipped places we’ve stayed in. Everything was also very clean. The location in Kappa is perfect and a great starting point for exploring the island. We loved having meals on the balcony. There are two pools and a large supermarket (Safeway) right next door. The apartment also included beach gear, which was a great bonus. Communication with Kaz was excellent – she responded quickly and even allowed us to check in early, which we really appreciated. ☺️ If we return to Kauai, we would definitely book this place again!

We loved our stay! We could have stayed 2 weeks. Loved the plunge pool feature and garden. Chilling out on the screen porch was so relaxing. We enjoyed making dinner in the modern kitchen and watching movies in the comfortable living room. Driving into Kapa’a was quick and easy either north or south route. Understand that Kauai is windy most of the time; the pool will have leaves fall into it all day. Just net them out before each dip.

The cottage was a fantastic launching pad and spot to relax/recoup. It was even more private feeling than the pictures depict. The cottage is surrounded by landscaping that makes the cottage, deck, and shower feel very protected, and quiet…. Yet also safe. The cottage kitchen is well appointed - making it easy to cook (or bbq out back) my meals. The cottage is located next to an easy to access beach, where you’ll often have it to yourself. Taline and Dan were awesome hosts with lots of local knowledge and were extremely responsive. The location is also such that it’s easy to find good food, and places to relax and explore.

It was a perfect stay - we loved the place and felt like home. Kent was very fast in answering our questions. The unit is perfect, very clean and it provided everything we needed. The location is great as you can reach shops and restaurants and the beautiful beach by a 5min walk. Also you can get to every spot on the island within a more or less short drive by car. Perfect for us and our daughter. We can really recommend this place and we hope to be able to come back one day. Mahalo 🌺

This place was perfect. It had everything I needed and more. Christopher gave lots of communication and left me with no questions to ask. The place was comfortable, roomie and quiet. My only suggestion is to bring ear plugs for the early morning rooster calls if you are a light sleeper; although you will run into that issue anywhere you stay on the island.
