Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. This log home, located on 6.5 acres, offers a few days away from the hustle of everyday life. The loft is where the master bed and bath are located. The second bedroom / bath are located on the first floor. The unfinished basement offers an area to workout on the elliptical machine and weight bench. Relax during the evening hours on the back patio, gathered around the fire pit. TV's are located in the living room, basement, and kitchen.

After a fun day in The Driftless Area, come relax and unwind in Prairie du Chien. Beautifully decorated 2 bedroom home with a spacious kitchen, large island, dishwasher, washer/dryer & 5' walk in shower. We supply all cooking/baking items/utensils so all you need are your food, drinks and ingredients. Full high-speed internet with smart TVs in both bedrooms and living room. Outdoor pool (seasonal), hot tub and massage chair. We love dogs too, so we provide a dog run (there is a pet fee).

Burr Oak is home to the Laura Ingalls Wilder Museum, the only childhood home that remains on its original site. Come spend a few days relaxing in this quaint, relaxed community and enjoy the natural beauty of the surrounding area.

The Guest Barn

The Guest Barn is located on our 16 acre farmstead and was created by salvaging a nearby barn and corncrib. The timbers from these buildings were torn down, moved to our farm and rebuilt into a smaller “new” barn. It truly represents a real farm experience. Slow down and enjoy the simplicity that our property has to offer. Walk around the farm, make friends with a cow, watch barn kitties play and gaze across the vast farm vistas.

The Store

Welcome to The Store! This place originated as a grocery store in our little town of Ossian, IA. We have given this building a fresh new facelift and turned it into a vacation home. Don't be turned away from the outside as we continue to update but embrace the charm we have built on the inside. This space was well thought out with stunning features that we are excited to share with you!

Tucked among the trees but with the convenience of located 5 minutes from town, 200 yards from the Upper Iowa River, with plenty of outdoor activities such as biking and hiking close by. The cabin has a large screened in front porch, patio and fire pit area, that provide plenty of spaces to relax.
