Villa vacation rentals in Zimbabwe

I had the most wonderful experience at this house. The house is even better than what the pictures show. I didn't have to speak to Shingi as gogo was so capable of resolving any requests I had. She is the added gem that made the stay here more than worth it. She is welcoming, knowledgeable and goes beyond the call of duty! The only regret I had was that the rest of my family was not being able to fly into Zimbabwe on time to enjoy this place with me and my elder son. We certainly hope this place will be available for us again on our next visit to the country!

Second time staying at Patricia's home in the Honde Valley - What a treat. This place is BEAUTIFUL and I cannot recommend enough. Both Marion and Rutendo went out of their way to make us feel right at home. Addition of WiFi is a huge plus - Thank you :-) We'll be back !

I booked the place for my mom. She loved her stay and felt right at home. I will definitely be booking the place again.

Gorgeous place, with a 5* caretaking team. The high ceilings make the place feel vast, and it's pristinely clean. All the bedrooms are large, even the 'smaller' ones. The open plan central area and kitchen, has not one, but two mezzanine TV lounges above it. Even with a full house, there are enough areas to split around, so it won't feel crowded. The garden is jumbo sized, plenty long enough for sprint training (and "50+" cartwheels). We spent several evenings of our week just chilling on the terrace cooking up braais. The location is quiet, with a direct route to the CBD. There is a mall with nice shops and restaurants a 20 minute walk away. But the real stars of the show were Innocent the groundskeeper, and his wife Emma. They were always available, and went out of their way to help whenever needed. Moreso, they just radiated warmth and good cheer all the time (Innocent has an infectious laugh). If the opportunity arose, I would happily do another longer stay because of them!

Every employee at the property was just wonderful l. We had a great chef, polite care taker and even the guy inncharge of outdoor maintenance just woke up and cleaned our car without even being requested to do so. Thank you so much for your kindness and assistance much appreciated 👏.

Wow, what a beautiful big house. Lots of beds bathrooms, big kitchen (made a large breakfast) and more. No electricity problems - they have a backup. Just what we needed to get our group ready for a wedding. We had zero problems. Will book again just to relax and enjoy family time.

This is an outstanding property in Kariba that can't be matched by anything in this area. Filda's property in is simply a haven in Zimbabwe. I would encourage anyone to try it out. It is located in a beautiful part of Kariba with a majestic view of the lake. The house has working air conditioning units throughout the property (a must for Kariba). Sunrise and sunset at Filda's place are Utopian! The villa has a magnificent pool coupled with an eloquently appointed interior. The house is clean and immaculate throughout with a full range satellite TV service. The blue lake and hot temperature has a Dubai/Miami feel about it, albeit with a touch of nature! Zebras, monkeys, "notorious" baboons and elephants all co-exist with humans in this nature's melting pot that is Kariba. Filda's place is in the thick of it all and offers a serene existence that every human must, at some point in their life, enjoy! The star of the show for me is the resident helper Livious! Filda must consider herself lucky to have this gentleman working for her! What a gentleman! We agreed (for a nominal fee really) to have him as our resident chef. The meals this man prepared were outstandingly delicious. There's nothing he could not do. He kept the space clean, barbecued for us, prepared our breakfast and dinner. He was never intrusive and was always attentive to our children. I strongly recommend everyone to stay at this villa. The pictures don't do it justice honestly. Just stick up on supplies from a Pick'n Pay supermarket about 11km away and you'll be fine. You can also go for cocktails at Carribea Bay Hotel. We went for a safari and house boat ride and always looked forward to coming back to our splendid villa. All in all it was an unforgettable experience thanks to Filda's villa!

This is the best place to be when in Mutare

our stay was fantastic! the house is so beautiful and spacious (we are a family of five, all adults) and everyone had their privacy. the rooms with the ensuite bathroom are so beautiful. the living room is perfect to stay altogether and the patio outside is even better. we didnt use the little pool but it looks very nice. Shout out to Tinei and his availability. he takes care of the house and he is always down to help you with anything. Only two notes to mention (just as a advice nothing negative!) would be good to put clear instruction on how to get to the house since google maps really cant find the address and secondly, would be good to mention that there are two doogs running around the house because our family really dont like dogs so it can be challenging dealing with them even if are super friendly dogs! thank you very much I will definetely recommend the place to everyone looking for peace and quite after cool excursion in the area
