Vacation rentals in Zemeno Arachovas

As I write this review, I’m on my to work for the first time after our two-week vacation in Greece. It’s dark and already very cold in Oslo, Norway October 17th, 2024. Our vacation was divided into two parts, 10 days was spent in this house and 4 days in Athens. We were stunned by the beauty of Alyki, it was a gift by mother nature, presented carefully and thoughtfully by men, in this case, Christos and his mother Matina. The house was built as we’ve learned, by Matina and her late husband Antonio. The large veranda overlooking the bay/ocean was spectacular! The private beach was 2mins to walk from the house. The house was very well equipped with everything you’ll possibly need. Christos even helped my husband to find a gas canister for his bike rides for him to be able to cook. We were gifted from days 1 to 10. Our daughter Olivia who is just under two loved being here as well. She even got her own swing, we also adored the cat-pany. Christos&Matina, thank you again for everything.

An absolutely stunning house. Perfect location, peaceful and pastoral. We really enjoyed our stay here! The house is welcoming, and the hosts, Christos and Labrimi, greeted us warmly. They took care of us beyond what we needed, even providing us with warm, fresh bread straight from the oven, strawberry jam, and pomegranate liqueur made by Labrimi's wonderful hands. Their patience and friendly approach towards our noisy children were truly appreciated. We can say we fell in love with them at first sight and would be happy to return here on another occasion. The house is well-equipped and comfortable, close to the sea with a beautiful and quiet beach. There are charming villages nearby and plenty of restaurants. There are many hiking areas as well. Wonderful! Highly recommend!

Check-in was very flexible and easy and Marios responded immediately to questions. The place was easy to reach, we thought the road there was fine, as long as you don't have a deep car. The view was amazing, the place itself super nice, tidy and clean. We felt very comfortable and had beautiful days.

A great location exactly as described. The pool area is clean and has it's own bathroom. It's a short distance from the village centre in a quiet location. While it is walkable a car is essential. The kitchen was well appointed and clean. The view from the terrace is superb. We booked it for six people which meant that the upper floor was unavailable. I retrospect we should have booked the whole house as the view from these rooms must be spectacular!

Effie was a great host! Responded very quickly, and was very accommodating to our needs/requests. Check-in instructions were super detailed and helpful. The apartment was very clean, perfectly situated and well stocked. We could not have asked for a better location. Overall a wonderful place; we would stay here again easily!

Many thanks to Eleni and her family for the opportunity to touch the incredible atmosphere of the Greek city estate! Galaxidi is a completely magical city. Each of its inhabitants and houses is unique. Eleni's house is wonderful for a trip with both family and friends. There is convenient parking near the house, the house itself and the garden are even more wonderful than in the photos. Wonderful paintings, books, thoughtful light, comfortable mattresses, beautiful bed linen, a well-maintained thoughtful gazebo and grill - everything is conducive to the best rest, restoration, pleasure and gives a delicate atmosphere of urban recreation. There is always an assistant Maria on the spot, the house is easy to navigate, there is everything and even more in the kitchen, bathrooms and in the rooms. And most importantly - Eleni was able to maintain a special atmosphere in the house. This is a living, kind, decent house. Thank you, my friends and I were absolutely fascinated! We really hope to come again).
