Waterfront vacation rentals in Zanzibar Archipelago

the apartment was clean with beautiful surroundings. Odette is super friendly and responded quick to any of my questions. it was worth the price, although we didn't have free wifi as the it shows that here, however, I would say that this apartment is even more beautiful than what is showing in the pictures here, the pictures doesn't do it justice. I stayed for 10 days and it felt like home. would definitely book the place again whenever I'm visiting Fumba again.

I would definitely stay here again. The space is beautiful and kept nicely. Abdul was very responsive and helpful. I appreciated his flexibility with me needing to extend my stay. Stefy waited for me at 4am and sent Rama to fetch me at the airport. She is very lovely and has great great taste for furniture and deco. her space is big and has a lot of character. it's like a travel in time. I loved spending time reading on the porshe at night. the only small down and the internet. A proper router would make the space perfect to work (I has lots of calls). But that's just my special needs.

I had a pleasant time staying at Judith's place, located in Fumba Town. It was neat and the environment was Serene. Fumba Town, some 20mins drive away from Stone Town, is the place to be if you love a peaceful, calm neighborhood with a swimming pool and a sea-facing bar. The balcony view is breathtaking. Generally, it's good value for money. Did I forget to mention that Judith communicates well?

Brenda and Ire's place is a true home, not an apartment that is only rented out. Lots of quirky decor, very colourful, we loved it (family with two teenage daughters). The girls could just walk around by themselves in town, it is all very friendly. Comfy beds and shower. The rooms were a bit hot in January, but manageable with the extra fans provided. Ire, Omar and Salum were very helpful and kind. Brenda wasn't around, but provided timely and extensive communication ahead of our stay. We have been coming to Stone town since 1994; and even with the mass tourism now firmly established on Unguja, Stone town somehow manages to keep its own spirit and this place reflects that spirit. Great stay, we were very happy to come here.

Our 5 day stay at Zuhura’s Airbnb was outstanding! From the start, Zuhura was incredibly kind, friendly, and always quick to respond to any questions. The place itself was immaculate and wonderful. It’s central location was perfect, putting us within easy walking distance of many beautiful spots, malls and restaurants making the area convenient and enjoyable. I have been visiting Zanzibar for years. This place is a great. I highly recommend. I hang out pretty late. So have your transportation arranged. Place is a great location, not far from the beach or local night life. In the daytime I had not problem walking to the main road (<5mins) hailing a Boda Boda (Motobike taxi). But it can be an hit or miss.

Ernst is a very good gatsgeber . He responds immediately and always helps. Everything is very well organized. He has arranged the help on site very well. There is always a contact person there. Maybe think about an emergency power unit......The house is located directly on the beach , just a few steps to the sea. Absolutely quiet location. Thank you very much for the nice time there.

This place is a true gem. Hidden away, it's not the typical Zanzibar tourist spot. In fact, we were the only non-local people in the whole neighbourhood. It felt amazing to shop in the local village micro-shop, get fresh fish and calamari straight from the fish market, enjoy the private beach. If you feel like disconnecting, winding down and relaxing to the fullest - this is your place. And then, when you feel like exploring anything Zanzibar has to offer - you have all the options. Ali, the manager, is gonna be your guide, driver, and will arrange anything you please. We went to Stone Town, to Paje, to one of the spice farms, to the Jozani Forrest, to see the turtles, to go kayaking, spent a day on a boat trip (saw dolphins, went snorkelling, visited the famous sand bank, had lobster and fish on a private island). Ali even arrange for Omar, a private chef, to cook for us one evening. We hope to visit again one day. I highly recommend Nick's place! You will not be disappointed!

Simone was a lovely host! Responded super quickly. Saïd picked us up from the airport and was always ready. Mtumwa poetse wonderful! Sparkling clean. Beds were wonderfully changed every 4 days. If electricity and water failures, there was a generator. Nice! Beach in front of the door not really clean, but a short walk and you have a nice beach. In the house an info folder with all kinds of tips for trips. You can ask the helpful Saïd as a driver, or someone else. Children from the neighborhood play in front of the door on the beach. We enjoyed it! Put your chair on the beach at 5.30 pm and look at the fishing boats that come back with their catch. The house has a lovely veranda with dining table and chairs, where you can have breakfast etc. We had a lovely stay of 4 weeks and thank Simone for the good communication! Tip: bring aea for the children. They are really poor.

We really enjoyed our stay at Ingrid's place. The ability to walk out directly to the beach was incredible - as well as the night bed! It was very clean and the flexible check-in worked out very well for us as we were running a little late. Overall, great stay and well worth it.

Come to Embedodo Beachhouse and you will feel like you are in paradise. We had spent 3 great days right by the beach. The amenities were ok. Sometimes the power went out, but you have to expect it everywhere.... There was nothing wrong with it either. You should apply mosquito repellent in the evening if you want to sit on the porch From there we did not want to go into the house in the evening because it was very pleasant from the temperatures and the sea noise gave you an extra kick. Anytime again!!

The staff was the best part of the stay. They were amazing, especially Dan. The property is next to the beach and in the middle of a village. Seeing the African culture and way of living mixed with paradisiac views…was riveting. Several descent restaurants in the area as well. Will definitely book again.

I’m so happy with the place , highly recommend. Nice restaurant kwetukwenu ! Close to clinic, supermarket just few steps. The surrounding is peaceful and quiet. I’m definitely going to be there next stay in Zanzibar. You ROCK!!!

The villa was absolutely beautiful. It looks much bigger in real life than in the pictures. It’s right next to the beach, making it easy to go for long walks along the shore. There are also many local restaurants nearby. I want to thank Grace ❤️ and the security gentleman for their help and kindness—they truly made my stay special!

Simone is an amazing host, very friendly, go out of his way to assist and make you feel very informed and very welcome. The house is on an amazing location right on the beach with immaculate views. The staff are all very friendly and we had an amazing stay. Will come back for family holidays here and definitely recommend to anyone going to Zanzibar.
