perfect place to stay - honeymoon vibes - better than a hotel or lodge! The cottages in Kasane hosted by Daphne are amazing. The place has everything that makes your stay in Kasane just perfect! The environment is a dream: the fauna and flora around make it ideal, provide you enough privacy, ... everything is well maintained by the gardeners, there is 24/7 someone for the gate, there are cleaning ladies making your bed, ... We stayed in a nice room that was really big. The bed is huge and quality is very good. There is a separate bathroom, tv, wifi, ... also an outdoor space had everything to cook, relax, ... as we said: better than a hotel!! Also Daphne is a perfect host. Although she was not there in person, she arranged a smooth welcome for us and kept in touch with us during our stay. Really heartwarming. Also important: Daphne knows the best guides to book your trips in Chobe. Just trust her, she introduced us to the best guides (Farooq and Anishe from Ngina safaris).

I was a little skeptical when I got there because of the wildlife in the area, but after a few hours I felt right at home, the staff are fantastic, 100% recommend

Getting to the property is a challenge given the poor state of the roads. Our main aim was to get the Chizarera national park where the road access is worse, animals very few but views great. Our trip was challenged by a puncture but the national parks staff were very helpful. The property is nicely situated on the lakes edge. We did not know till we arrived that they advise bringing your own water as all the water on the property comes directly from the lake - and you know what hippos and other do in the water. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen adequatly equiped. Mossies were not an issue. Nice to have a few hippos in the day. The family dogs very friendly. Nice birds and well mainttined gardens.

We stayed at the lodge for 2 nights and we honestly wish we could have stayed longer. The pictures do not to this place justice. It was beautiful inside & out. Freddy & Catherine were a breath of fresh air and supported us daily with cooking & cleaning. We stayed with our 2 young children under 4yrs and they loved it. In the pool every day watching zebras pass by. We even used the communal pool which is bigger. The host was super responsive and detailed when we asked for recommendations and directions. Would recommend & stay here again!
