Family-friendly vacation rentals in Zagarolo

If you are planning on spending more than a week in Rome but do not want to reside in any tourist area, look no further than Antonia’s absolutely fantastic home in Garbatella!!!! The bedrooms (three!) are all spacious and well-lit. The bathrooms provide everything one needs, including a washing machine! We cooked several of our meals in her well-appointed kitchen as it contained everything one needs, including a huge refrigerator by Italian standards and a dishwasher! The BEST part however is Antonia herself! Fantastic communication throughout our stay and the most generous of persons, even dropping off fresh Italian pastries one morning! 5-minute walk to the metro; fantastic cheese and meat shop around the corner; 12-minute walk to the train 🚂 station and all in a vibrant neighborhood of true Italy!

Beautiful place! So much space (except in the bathrooms). Beautiful view from the windows. Everything went smooth for checkin.

Great place in Trastevere in Rome. Everything is relatively close by. Favorite spot was Ombre Rossi, just about a 15 min walk from the studio.

We really enjoyed our stay in Rome. Mauricio’s place is in a great location being walking distance to the Vatican and lots of buses to get to downtown Rome. The apartment was very clean and spacious. Maurizio was very responsive when we needed to contact him. Highly recommended.

I'm happy with Chiari Maria Therese's apartment. I felt that I was in my home. Everything is available and the service provider is great. There are three toilets that were very sufficient for our number 7 people. The smaller bathroom in which the shower could be used as a scrap, and this means a lot to us. Cleanliness, and the apartment is not wrong. The apartment is a small room, but it is like apartments in Europe in general. The apartment is warm because our visit is in the winter, but there is air-conditioned in all facilities

Best location, walk distance to most of the popular attractions. Hundreds of restaurants around, very safe place. The room is big and clean, 2 large bathroom. Most about the apartment is perfect! The only thing not perfect is the upstairs neighbors having party at night and walk on hard shoes for hours and hours. Overall, it's great place, worth the price, if you are not insomniac.

We had great time in Lorella's house. Lorella and her husband greet us very friendly, gave all instructions, we're very attentive and extremely helpful! House was very clean, comfortable, even better than in the photos. Lorella think about every details for her guests will feel comfortable, coffee, tea and sweets were waiting for us in the kitchen, we were enjoying of our morning coffe in the wonderful balcony! Less than 5 min walk to the metro, shops and restaurants in the neighbourhood, easy to reach airport via shuttle bus - so all you need for great time in Rome! I will highly recommend Lorella's wonderful house, she and her husband just perfect hosts!

We had a wonderful stay.

Very charming old house, in a quiet location just off Via Nomentana. Easy to get downtown with Bus 60. Absolutely fantastic roof terrace with all imaginable facilities for relaxation.

Our stay was fantastic. The space was cozy and spacious. Everything needed to make for a great stay was included. The outdoor area was a big hit for our two dogs and access to the lake was perfect. We enjoyed it so much, we extended our stay.

Great place to stay in cool neighbourhood in Rome. Very comfortable and well equipped. Emanuela was quick to respond and very friendly. Nice personal touches as well. Highly recommend!

The neighborhood is quite nice and chic. The property was easy to access. Guiseppe met us upon our arrival with very helpful instructions. The place had everything we need, enough towels, bed sheets, blankets, pans, microwave, even salt and olive oil. Overall we were very happy with our stay.

The apartment's location is unparalleled, literally one block from the Colosseum and very close to all the other attractions. Pamino is very friendly and the access is very easy. Highly recommend.

Paolo is very warm. He had put fresh fruit in the fridge for our arrival, very appreciated after a day of travel. He came to help us open the front door at 11pm and always with a smile. Large, convenient, clean, well decorated and well appointed apartment. The terrace is lovely. Only downside: a lot of traffic on the road which is also under construction at night. But after a day of sightseeing you still find sleep

Polite and informative host

We found Andrea’s villa a very welcoming family home. It really did feel like home from home. It was a wonderful place where we could relax as a family - whether it was reading a book, playing pool, table tennis, or chilling by the swimming pool. The salt water was new to us but we loved it and the depth of the pool was great for diving and jumping as well as swimming - the photos don’t do the pool justice. The pool area is beautifully situated on the property and at different times throughout the day parts are shaded which makes for comfortable swimming. Having the caretaker nearby was very reassuring. We rarely saw him, but he would be available if needed. We did a day trip to Rome and drove to Fidene ( parking was easy and free) and then caught the train into Roma Termini - 1 Euro per person - amazing value. Andrea was very easy to communicate with and we had a lovely stay there at the end of our holiday.

Stefano’s place was absolutely amazing! We couldn’t have enjoyed our stay more. The location on the 6th floor offers stunning views that are truly unforgettable. I especially loved the hot tub and terrace, where I spent every evening relaxing. The place was spotless, and they even let us drop off our bags the morning we arrived. I give Stefano’s place 5 stars, and we’ll definitely book again when we visit. It felt just like home!

A haven away from the hustle and bustle of Rome. Only a 15 min drive from the station where you can hop on the metro and be at the heart of the city in 15 mins. The house was really well equipped set in beautiful gardens that are perfect for relaxing in after a busy day. Licia was there to greet us and was welcoming, friendly and very knowledgeable about the area giving us some great tips on what to do and where to go. Highly recommended.

My family and I stayed at Claudia’s place for our 8 day vacation. The house and grounds are beautiful, with ample space for all 8 of us. It allowed us to all be together & enjoy meals together. Claudia was attentive and provided recommendations for restaurants and traveling tips which was so helpful. We did rent cars as the villa is quite a drive from the airport and in order to get into Rome we had to drive to the train station or hire a car service. Overall, our stay was incredible & would recommend Claudia’s beautiful villa for anyone looking for a peaceful & quiet place to stay. Thanks for having us!

Alessandro was very helpful during my stay in Rome. I received a useful guide on how to get to the apartment from the airport. He was very informative on how to rent a bike when I inquired and advised Bicibaci which helped me to navigate around Rome a lot more easily than with public transport. The apartment was very clean and comfortable.

If you fancy a trip to Rome but also want to escape the city this place is perfect. It feels like your home from the start. Good fun trying to get the pizza cooked to perfection outside. A great garden and pool.
