This is my second time staying at May's place and it is exactly as I remember it, breathtaking upon entrance. This time I brought my partner and she was blown away by the incredible experience. Most notably, sipping champagne in the spa, surrounded by trees, a rushing creek, singing birds, and the sun's rays painting the forest on the hill opposite us. Truly can't be beat.

I knew the house would be rustic, so I brought my camping gear. I did not need them. The kitchen was well equipt. I could cook anything I needed to make on the hot plate or in the microwave/toaster. There was also a smoker and like 5 BBQs. Do not be worried about cooking. The location is awesome. It is so close to so many things.. or you can just hang out on the property. We spent a day on the property and a day exploring. We spent every night in the hot tub. It was glorious. The bed is very comfortable!

We're now on our fifth stay at this house. It's no secret that we love it. It's a great place to unwind with the kids. Our kids love everything about the place — the lake, paddle boats, kayaks, the jacuzzi, making smores at the fire pit... I can go on and on. Our stay at Mai and Andrew’s place was truly unforgettable! They were incredibly kind and thoughtful hosts, going above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We arrived as a large group (9 adults, 1 baby, and a dog), and right from the beginning, we felt completely at home with more than enough space for everyone. Mai generously shared fresh eggs from her chickens, who roam freely around the beautiful property, along with their stunning horses. Andrew took the time to introduce our dog to the animals, which we really appreciated, as it made it possible for our pup to enjoy the grounds off-leash safely. Their farm looks like something out of a dream. We’re also so grateful for all the thoughtful recommendations. Mai told us about a tulip bloom in a nearby park and even arranged after-hours access for us, which made for a magical and unique experience. This stay was without a doubt one of the highlights of our Airbnb journey so far. We’d love to come back someday.

We stayed Dec 18-23 in 2024 as we were visiting family and Kathryn's place was only a 4 min drive from our family's home. It was more than I expected. We will definitely be going back when we visit our family in the summer. Kathryn has many little notes around her place, so you rarely need to ask a question. There was trail mix and almonds for a snack in the kitchen unit that we enjoyed and plenty of coffee/tea provided, which we did not use but still appreciated the effort. We did not take advantage of the hot tub, and the pool was not in season, but we will be sure to use it when we return in the summer. Kathryn went above and beyond as I received a notice after we had checked out that I had left my Fitbit cord in the bedroom. She even mailed in to me! I can't say enough good things about this place. :)

This house by Jule vacation rental was home away from home for a month. The rental is nothing short of fantastic! The amenities inside & out of the home are incredible. The kitchen is a gourmet cooks delight with top of the line appliances and plenty to cook great meals. The back yard & hot tub are perfect. The garage is set up for entertainment. The living room & dining room are comfortable. The mater bed & bath are recently upgraded with travertine & granite plus great shower faucets. The other bathroom is also recently remodeled the same way. This is the best Air BnB that I have rented hands down! The hosts are responsive and accommodating! You can’t go wrong with this rental in or near Nevada City!

We had such a great stay! The property was perfect for our family getaway—our kids especially loved the trampoline and the hot tub (they barely wanted to come inside!). Our Doberman, Lincoln, had the best time playing fetch in the large open space—it was such a treat to find a spot that’s truly dog-friendly. Melissa was a delightful host—super responsive and thoughtful. She even set up a fun scavenger hunt for the kids to find hidden gnomes around the property, which they absolutely loved. It’s little touches like that that made our stay really special. We’d love to come back again. Highly recommend!

Catherine stands out as a host who feels a special connection to the home she shares on Airbnb. She clearly loves the place and is invested in the best possible outcome for everyone. It's more than just a business to her. We did some cooking and baking in the kitchen and felt wowed by how well stocked the kitchen is. It had everything we needed and then some. The home maintains the charm of its history, which we loved. Downtown Grass Valley is so, so nice, and it's just a short walk from A Victorian Rose. I especially appreciated Catherine's recommendation of Caroline's Cafe. That's our kind of cafe, top to bottom. We visited at least four times! Grass Valley itself is such a lovely destination. Five stars all around!

Nevada City is a great place to stay for access to Donner Pass and hiking, and this house made a quick weekend getaway practical.and comfortable. The house is clearly well cared for and very clean and accommodated 2 adults and 3 kids easily. loved the trundle for my littlest one, who is big for a crib but too small for a standard high adult bed. We really were just there to sleep but spent a comfortable, mostly quiet night

Our stay was enjoyable. It is a easy walk able location from Broad Street. The bar chairs at the kitchen counter are awkward but I imagine it's really n ice to eat outside on the deck during a clear day. The hot tub was HOT and highly chlorinated, which is not my preference for the strong smell. They had the space warmed up with the electric fire place when I arrived which was a really nice touch. Beds were comfortable and the black out curtains were nice.

We had a wonderful time, 4 girl friends, 1 child, 3 dogs! A fantastic weekend away to visit friends close by for a birthday. We got a sunny day and a stormy day and both were perfect for this house. Enjoy it all weathers. We made the most of the hot tub, cooked together in the kitchen, played games and watch some VHS! Cozy peaceful sleeps. Beds comfy, lots of towels available and bathroom amenities. We will definitely be staying again.

If you are looking for a great place to relax, Max & Meela’s place is the spot! The property was so spacious and peaceful. They provided everything we needed for our 3-day stay. Dog and elderly friendly! Loved the vibe of the house as it created a peaceful environment for us to enjoy some family time. It’s 5 minutes away from a convenience store and only a 20 minute drive from Collin’s Lake, where you can rent boats, fish, and swim in the beautiful and scenic waters. Overall a great experience!

Love love love this place. So much space yet warm and cozy: perfect. The rooms are spacious, and there was tons of places, inside and out, to relax, hangout, read. Hot tub was private yet scenic, very easy to unwind. Will visit again!
