Family-friendly vacation rentals in Ystad

Monica and Claus were lovely to deal with, helpful, thoughtful and friendly. Their apartment is tastefully furnished, and in a lovely setting, with many windows and French doors. We were four adults and we all found the beds to be very comfortable. The neighborhood is quiet, even sleeping with the windows wide open. Due to the apartment being their home where they live most of the time, the kitchen was well equipped with everything you could need. However, because it is their home, the closets are full and there is no available space for guests clothing or incidentals, so be prepared to live from your suitcase. There are about 6 flights of stairs to get to the 4th floor. It was a workout for us 70 year olds, but manageable. The big perk was that Claus met us upon our arrival and helped carry heavy luggage upstairs, a very kind and helpful gesture. There are many bakeries and cafes within a short walk and the bus and metro are very accessible. I highly recommend this BnB.

Very lovely holiday in Kent's lovely home!

Marco's place was excellent. We had a family of 11 people, including children. Marco's place was perfect- enough places for sleeping, a spacious living room to be together, a very well-equipped kitchen, the metro was just 8 min to walk, bus 3-4 minutes. The beach was around 10 minutes to walk, and the airport was just 2 metro stops. Marco responded very quickly and his neighbour was also very friendly and helped us with everything. I totally recommend Marco's place!

Very nice accommodation with proximity to everything you can imagine. Such a nice townhouse, clean tidy and "luxurious". Elsa the cat brightened the stay even more with her closeness to kind mind. Top marks from us!

Gustav was a wonderful host. As soon as the place became available he messaged us. The home was very comfortable for our group. The neighborhood was safe for our kids to ride bikes and go to the park. He gave us great sight seeing places to visit which made our first trip to Sweden special.

We were 16 people on a family trip at Easter 2025. We had a great trip, with lots of coziness. The house and area are definitely worth a visit

Very pleasant stay at the farmhouse. Comfortable for a large group of people, and the sauna/hot tub was a huge perk. Would absolutely recommend!

We traveled with two families (a total of 7 people) and had a wonderful time here. The house offered enough space and opportunities to spread out. The house is very nicely decorated and the garden with adjacent forest also offers space for relaxation. A path through the woods leads to a very nice beach on foot. The surroundings, including Åhus, are fantastic, quiet and not so crowded. We had a fantastic stay here and will be happy to come back. Thank you P-O!

Nice and quiet place. Perfect if you are travelling with kids. Lovely beach nearby and lots of trail paths for riding the bike in the forest. The hosts were always very helpful.

Our first visit to Sweden was truly unforgettable, and Skanör exceeded all our expectations. The beach and sea were absolutely stunning, especially for us coming from Belgium, and we were touched by the warm hospitality of everyone we met. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Kristina's charming cottage. The location is perfect for those seeking a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle. The cottage was generally clean and tidy. It’s worth noting that guests should bring their own toiletries, such as shampoo, shower gel, and a hairdryer (something that was not mentioned in the Airbnb description as included or not). The nearby supermarket and shops were very convenient, and Malmö is just a short 30-minute drive away. Overall, we had an amazing experience and would love to return to your cottage, Kristina. I stayed with Nilla for a month and had a really great time. The lakeside location is unique and there are great walking trails, especially with a dog. Nilla was always super accessible and also gave me good tips for the area, etc. I would definitely come back.🫶

great cottage in a beautiful setting. With the dog, you can walk across the fields into the forest for a nice walk. We have fully enjoyed the soapstone stove. There is plenty of wood also available for the wood-fired sauna. Nice terrace where you can sit comfortably even when it rains. The cottage is a nice starting point to discover the surroundings.

We had a great stay here with two kids (9 & 1) - beautiful old building, stylish and kid friendly! It felt homely with many personal items and like we were really living the local life in Copenhagen. Michael provided a cot/high chair and the kids rooms is great as it had lots to entertain kids and the space/ layout of the apartment with a separate dining /kitchen and living room meant that it was possible to have some space after the kids went to bed! The apartment is only 15-20 mins walk from the centre and you can walk via a great playground. We really enjoyed coming back to the apartment each day - relaxing, spacious and cosy at same time. The accommodation was wonderful, in a quiet and peaceful location near the railway station. The household equipment was above standard. Lars communicated quickly, friendly and clearly. I definitely recommend it.

We had another listing canceled at the last second. To rescue Elinor and Björn. With a day's notice, we were able to book their place. The accommodation was perfect, Elinor and Björn helpful and friendly. If we ever go back to Helsingborg we will definitely want to book their place again.

Excellent apartment for families. My wife, 2 children aged 11 and 12, and I spent 5 days in Vibeke's apartment. It is very well connected to the center, both by metro and by water taxi, and on foot in 20 minutes. It is very spacious, very clean in a quiet neighborhood and overlooking the marina and canal. We enjoyed it very much and would definitely stay here again.

We had a splendid week! Great weather and the children enjoyed the pool. It was hard to get them out of the house :-). House is located near a supermarket and close to cities like Lund and Malmo. Possible to visit them by train as the station is also very near to the house. Great time and we can really recommend staying at Katarina & Pete's house.

It's a very nice spot of earth! Ideal for rest and fun with the whole family! The contact with the family was always very friendly and there was always a prompt response! Kristina is a great landlady, I can only recommend it! 👍🏻 And the neighbor is still there as a personal point of contact and is super helpful and nice! Actually, we wanted to do more, but the beautiful terrace and pool led us a lot to just stay "at home" because it was so cozy! The area invites you to stroll, cycle and jog. We are definitely really well recovered! Thank you for letting us take a vacation with you!

If you are in doubt.. Don’t be! This place is absolutely fantastic. We went with our family (kids 8,4,0yrs) We and the kids had an amazing 2 weeks summer holidays staying here and we felt immediately at home. For me this is the quintessential Swedish summer house and with a lovely hygge feeling. The heated pool is a massive hit for the kids, there is toys available, high chair, cool kids bed. The house is very spacious, kitchen has all possible tools you may want and even a pizza oven. We could bbq almost daily and swim in the (heated) pool before or after the day trips we took. The area is gorgeous and there are loads of cute and typical places within 10/20 mins driving. Small beaches, characteristic villages, small cafe, restaurants, 2nd hand shops and design places just to mention some.Bjorn is a fantastic host and he helped us from details on baby stuff available to open the pool house for a couple of friends visiting us for a night, to all kind of tips during our stay.
